    interesting thought here.
our shadows are 2-dimensional projections of our 3-dimensional figures.
does that mean that our 3-dimensional figures are simply projections of our 4-dimensional selves? which, in turn, is a 4 dimensional projection of our 5-dimensional selves? and so on?
just somethinh i had been pondering.

Our fifth dimensional selves are nothing but our spirits (conscience).
That is why it is said 'We are not humans on a spiritual journey but spirits on a human journey.'

+ Slomofogo That is a false statement. With this logic you can basically say in any dimension you are not you and so on. We are here. This is real. You are real. However, there might be more to it than that.

+Steve B First, understand your brain can only fully conceptualize 3 dimensions. It is not your fault, but a result of evolution. Knowing the challenge is there for everyone will possibly give you the support you need to find a way that works for you to understand it on some level.
The thing is, we already know that there is a 5th dimension(actually, possibly 11 of them), the math screams that out loud and clear, it is simply our puny brains yelling exception for no reason other than it cannot fully conceptualize it.
Think about this. If you have a box, but you cannot see the back side of it, you say you can't see it cause its a 3d space, and you would be right. HOWEVER, you can indeed see the back side. You walk around to the back side.
Do you understand now? A 3d box viewed in 4 dimensions would have all its sides visible. That sounds crazy, but think of it like this, adding the 4th dimension of time to the third adds animation(rotation) to a box, and allows you to see all sides of the box. This IS you conceptualizing an extra dimension.

Here's what I think is going on, I'm having trouble imaging it myself.
At @5:58 you see a line of 3-dimensional frames going across an axis which is the 4th dimension.
The 5th dimension moves this line left and right along the axis.
So if we were to look at this 5th dimension, we would be seeing these 3-dimensional frames in the future and past.
Imagine looking at an object moving faster than light as well as imagine photons moving downward onto the object like rain. The object would catch multiple of these photons at once and reflect them in multiple spots at once.
This would cause an observer like us to see multiple instances of said object.
If the object were moving 3 times the speed of light, we would observe 3 images of that object at that point in time.
However, our brains would perseve it as just a blur.

    • @FINgaming1000
      @FINgaming1000 8 лет назад +2

Jonathan Larsen So even if we could look the 5th dimension it would be impossible for our brains to comprehend it? But if we use technology to upgrade our brains in the future can we then comprehend the other dimensions? This is of course just speculation but right now we are using machines to upgrade our bodies (for example those who have lost their arm get a new mechanical hand) so maybe it is possible to "upgrade" our brains with technology in the future when we learn a complete understanding about our brains

Man I see I'm not the first to think of this which is kinda cool I guess. I agree that we are 5-D beings. Cuz if ya think about it, imagine a basketball floating in the ocean. It's a 3-D object floating helplessly in 4-D space in one direction into the future. It is bound to 4-D space. Completely at the mercy of the physics of the big bang itself setting into motion the chain of events that led it to where it is floating there at that moment and forever unable to change that trajectory.
Humans on the other hand (or life in general) are able to move themselves. We can look into the past and into the future and make a choice that completely alters our future. That ability to see the future and the past is a 5th dimensional trait, right? Since we are able to like move laterally through possible futures?
The basketball is about to get hit by a cruise liner and can't do anything about it yet we can see it coming and alter our futures by swimming our asses off. We can see the future coming right at us and say no thanks I'll take the other future. That choice has to mean something. Like life itself must be the 5th dimension right? Like once matter becomes alive it ceases to be trapped by 4-D space cuz it now dictates it's own future... to an extent.

+Canned Snacks I do believe that what we do is our own choice however I maintain the belief that our concept of random is a symptom of our unawareness to what is happening, the outcome of a coin flip is considered random while it is perfectly possible to predict and the person or thing flipping it is being consciously or unconsciously affected by the chain of events that put it in its own 4th dimension to alter the amount of muscle capacity that is used to flip the coin. Basically I believe that random things do happen, but the result was going to be that anyway and I will believe that until someone creates a circumstance in which a "random" event is completely unaffected by anything.

    • @irulesoveryou
      @irulesoveryou 8 лет назад +7

+iexist sometimes I'm rather certain that randomness does exist within the quantum world. Some things are truly unpredictable, take for example the exact location of a particle at a given point in time. So perhaps the fifth dimension encompasses then each probability within the probability plot of that location for example. This might help account for the fact that the collection of atoms we call a human must follow the same physical laws as any other object, making the 4d bound basketball Marzano describes, in fact does have a fifth dimensional factor, since each particle in each atom has a probability plot, and is subject to random assumption of each position within that plot. The human mind is extremely complex, and small changes in only a few molecules within our mind can dictate large ones in our will and actions, so perhaps this is why we find it simpler to label our "choices" that of free will, but with large enough resolution scans of our brain, all our choices can be mapped to probabilities and random chance, like any other object.

I created a thought experiment when I I was considering the idea of whether the fifth dimension was something that humans could evolve to technologically or whether it was physically separate from us in such a way that makes our anatomy impossible to either become part of or travel in the fifth dimension.
The though experiment goes like this: If there is a type of microbe that is entirely incapable of movement on its own, Then relative to its perspective, It wouldn't have much use of the third dimension or even fourth dimension. The third dimension may dictate its reality, but it doesn't actually fully experience it, unless forced to. If something that was capable of movement forced the microbe to move somewhere else, The microbe would be forced to change position but have no way back to it on its own accord. An analogy to this would be humans being forced by an anomaly to move to the past or the future but having no way back on our own.
We know that if the microbe had the right anatomy, it would be able to move to different positions, thus making the third dimension much more important to it.
From this thought experiment, I have a hypothesis. That the fifth dimension and perhaps higher dimensions are every part of the same reality that we are apart of. The problem is we just haven't yet devised the 'mechanisms' or technology necessary to actually travel within those higher dimensions or we lack the natural anatomy necessary for it, but that it may be possible to create such technology if we rely on the though experiment as a method of figuring out how the fifth dimension might work relative to us.

So...if my existence is a perceived straight line in the probability space, what happens when that line ends, i.e. when i die? Does my perception just jump to a different line where i don't die and wouldn't even remember the previous timeline?
Wouldn't that make all of us pretty much immortal from our own perspective (and only ever our own!), since we'd never percieve ourselfs dying until death is the only possible outcome left?
In other words: Remember all those occasions were you more or less narrowly avoided an accident or recovered from a severe sickness? You probably died right there in a different timeframe.
    Creepy stuff.
On the plus side: Remember friends and relatives that you've lost? They might still be out there, alive in different timelines. That's kinda comforting.

    • @cjwrench07

Silver Assassin that’s time your describing, with the bare essence of Quantum Mechanics kicked in.
Physics doesn’t act like that for large objects, we don’t have a wave function(99.999999% of the time) like what you are describing with your probability part. It is the cool part of quantum mechanics, with matter/energy, seemingly, materializing out of a complete vacuum, by the probability/wave-function of energy oscillations. While very cool, it’s not an extra dimension, but merely a part of the unknown quantum world.
A true fifth dimension would, likely, act adjacent, somehow, to the 4 dimensions we already have. Until we have the technology to explore it, or even reproduce it, it’s going to be limited to mathematical proofs.
The presence you are describing is just a different more “holistic” way of describing physical space, and to me harkens back to the days of trying to quantify the “soul” with science.

    • @cjwrench07

Tarragon Mugwort The multi-doored hallway is the best analogy, for the 4th physical dimension(5th total).
You use it to access almost any place inside that world, by just choosing the right access point. It exists both inside the world and outside its 3 dimensional limit.
I honestly can’t think of a better analogy, other than the doors in Monsters Inc. which act in the exact same way as the matrix doors, but don’t have a master access point/hallway to connect them all.

    • @JRLarsen
      @JRLarsen 8 лет назад +1

That may not be true. let's graph it. take our 4-dimensional universe and make it a line. Now add another line parallel to that one. this is imagining 2 lines, representing 2 4-dimensional universes, on a 2-dimensional graph. Now let's make the graph itself 3-dimensional and rotate it 90 degrees. Leave one line as it is and make the other line a 3-dimensional plane. From this perspective, all we can see is the plane, but rotate the graph back 90 degrees and we still see 2 parallel lines.

move a point you get line, move a line you get a sheet (plane), move sheet you get a stack of sheets (cube), cube can be moved in many ways. Choose any one way of moving cube at time 0 and you get space time and all the many ways in which the cube could have moved at time 0 represents fifth dimension. Is this right ?

    • @10thdim
      @10thdim  7 лет назад +13

Yes, this sounds good but please let me clarify. This is the power of the point-line-plane postulate, it allows you to use similar repeating logic to visualize any number of spatial dimensions. If we think of a a 0D point, all we need is a different point, from there we get to a 1D line, a 2D plane, and a 3D space. If we can then think of that 3D space in a certain state as being like a 0D point, then all we need is a different point and we can visualize how the fourth, fifth, and sixth dimension would bear the same relationships to each other as 1D, 2D, and 3D. So to answer your question, it's important to remember that your 3D states create a 4D "line", and your 5D "plane" represents probablistic outcomes available to any particular point on that line, but there are still the other logically incompatible versions of this space within the 6th dimension... in the same way that a 2D plane represents only a subset of a 3D space.

zeroth dimension=a singularity, a single point of no dimensions or size
1st dimension=a way of ‘moving’ between these points, connecting multiple points that occupy no dimensions
2nd dimension=a way of ‘moving’ between single dimensions
3rd dimension=a way of ‘moving’ between planes/‘two dimensional spaces’
4th dimension=a way of ‘moving’ between three dimensional ‘spaces’, for you to walk to the shop, you are essentially moving through the 4th dimension
5th dimension=a way of moving between these four dimensional realities, encompassing all possibilities within one realm of existence - one universe. You could perhaps envision the ‘choices’ you make and the outcomes that occur as a result, are a way of thinking 5th dimensionally
It essentially continues in this way, there is no ‘number of dimensions’ encompassing the next ‘tier’ of dimension.

i believe god exist here... why, because if you exist within the fifth dimension, you will know everything and all possibilities. you might be able to "peer" in, but you will never be able to completely see what a fifth dimensional god would see, everything, playing forward, backward at the same time as well as all possible outcomes... free will still exist, its just that all other possible outcomes are also there as well... a sort of mirror that reflects itself thousands of times. as the narrator states, we are indeed living in one of the mirrors being reflected but where the fifth dimensional being would see all probable outcomes, we are stuck to only seeing the one we choose to follow. its interesting to think that, if this is true, it would also be true to leap to another mirror form one path to another... strange stuff but really interesting.

hey rob, i am a 16 yearold guy and i have my reasons for thinking this way about time because of certian experiences i have had but i just wanted to share my veiw with you to see what you think and if what my idea could be plausable if tweaked or is plausable the way my theory is.. i wanted to comment on time.. ik how you said time is moving forward and backwards but we only can see the forward moving of time.. what if time is not moving forward or backwards but instead it is a cylinder containing everything that every happen all at the same time.. so we live in the 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th demension at the same time.. and our minds create a sense of time that allows our bodies to exist. and without this sense of time our bodies will begin to die.. i mean consider alzheimer's disease when so one get this they start having "flash backs" and lossing a sense of time.. so what if these poeple really are just lossing a sense of time and their body begins to start dying from it so they never reach the point of complete freedom " the 6th demension" while still in the body. but maybe after they die their soul transforms in to an all dimensional being able to experience all dimensions. this will allow the "soul" to see all time from begining to end all at the same time while looking in to the "cylinder of time" and being able to travle in side the cylinder and out side of the "cylinder of time". and think about Deja vu what if that is a part of our mind messing up and seeing the future and taking it in as something that has already happened and then when it happens you begin to think i swear i have done this before. and since i our mind only operates and 10% at one time. there are others who brains operate at a higher capacity and these are the very very smart people.. so what if there was a person who could use all of his or her brain capacity would he or she be able to travle in time and space and dimension or would the person just be able to see everything happening and maybe even control what they see.. so now thinking of this what if time is the basis for all the other 9 dimensions.. meaning that everything that happens revloves in side the "cylinder of time" and and what if (based on what you said about how the D10 relies on time but it is not affected by time) what if D10 is the space(dimension) bettween other "cylinders of time" (world or universes) that our bodies would not be able to sustain our life in or some we might be able to... it might sound a little confusing but i have my personal reasons for this idea.

I think the garden hose was the best part. It is the best physical way to describe how dimensional space exists. The ant inside the hose can explore all the inside surface area, but not the rest of the inside of the hose. Just as if you look at the hose from beginning to end it appears as a circle with multiple circles of the same size behind it. If you anchored one edge of a 2D plane and spun it, there would be a different viewpoint of 3D space until you got back to the first. It wold be spiral

The way I visualize it, all of perceived physical reality mimics or is in direct relation to sound, the way it vibrates with an equal frequency (the Ohm?), measured equally up and down. So observing this, it only makes sense multiple dimensions work the same way.

I like your description and how you qualify it. It is far more interesting to think of other dimensions as intervals. We can still exist in these dimensions without being able to qualify them. As a 3rd dimensional being, we cant experience them, however a 4th or 5th dimensional being can allow us to travel through. When we travel through we may be able to have a concept of it but not be able to describe it.

The only "Freedom" that can possibly exists is that from an observer standing outside of this universe.

ENOUGH FIGHTING OVER THE RELIGION AND SCIENCE geezzzz. My interpretation of Interstellar btw: when he jumped into the black hole past the event horizon (a boundary when passed, not even light can escape), I believe he has entered a 3rd dimensional interpretation of the 5th dimension that the 'higher beings' had designed for him.
He was able to alter the past, present and future by bending gravity in the form of light(?), which is quite scientific. For example, us 3 dimensional beings are able to perfectly understand the 2nd dimension, the flat surface. However, a creature who is limited to the 2nd dimension won't have the ability to interpret 'height', so they would basically examine us layer by layer, first a spot, then a layer of our internal organs, then disappearing out of view. If a 2 dimensional being were to alter our 3 dimensional world, it would have to alter our world layer by layer.
With this logic, 5 dimensional beings are able to bend aspects of the universe that we can't control easily as we can walk forwards. For them, time altering would be as simple as taking a stroll in the park. However, us puny 3 dimensional beings won't be able to interpret what they do, moreover we can't even detect them.
So when the dude was altering his daughter's from her bedroom, he was altering time 'layer by layer' , with the similar logic to the 2 dimensional creature I have stated above.
By the way, the 'higher beings' are the future human race who gained the ability to gaze through the 5th dimensions, and they were the ones who placed the wormhole near Saturn in the first place. These 'beings' also chose the dude and his daughter to save the human race, with the other half of the formula that calculates gravity, which is the only aspect of the dimensions that can go beyond spacetime. The half needed to be calculated in a 5 dimensional world, since in 5 dimensions, gravity too, is just another aspect of the fabric of the 5th dimension (thx TARS).
Winston Churchill's famous quote, "connect into the 5th dimension more fully" wasn't terribly wrong. It's more scientific as the video states. Our perspective in the 3rd dimension is just a dot on a 5th dimensional line (probability space), so anything could happen accordingly to our choice. But from the 6th dimension, another line is drawn, into the infinite probability space of "if i had done that", alternate futures, etc
btw, Yes there might be multidimensional beings among us right now observing our 3 dimensional point as if we were to observe a 2 dimensional world on a piece of paper. The beings you might call divine and godly. (no offense to you super religious anti-scientific ppl)

He bent gravity to move the second hand on the clock, not light. You dont need the 5th dimension to get the second half of the equation, what you needed was the inside of a black hole.

    • @randuinsomen5480

Quinn Valor I compared gravity as if he was bending light, because that is how they depicted it in the movie. The second half of the gravity equation came from the black hole, or in this case, the 3rd dimensional translation of the supposedly existing, '5th dimension' He was then able to record an algorithm of inside the black hole, it's characteristics of bending spacetime.!!

This topic is addressed from a metaphysical perspective in Jane Roberts books. I believe you are on the right track. There are an infinite number of probable selves all intersecting in the moment. Our conscious mind is like an atom, jumping from probability to probability. From a Kabbalistic perspective, we manifest in ten dimensions, but our awareness of those dimensions is very limited.

My biggest problem with the concept that the fourth dimension is temporal, and not simply another spacial direction, is that from 0-3, it is impossible to jump dimensions, as in, you cannot have a shape that is in the first and third, but not the second. However, you can have a line that experiences time. This would be a shape in the first and fourth, which leads me to believe that in fact the fourth and fifth and further dimensions shouldn't be placed on this linear (pardon the pun) scale of dimensions, but given their own list of temporal dimensions, which can act independently of the spacial ones. I look forward to watching the rest of these videos, though, as they are very interesting and insightful.

If all the dimensions are just as real as the one that we are observing then it follows that all choices to be made have been made and therefore we have no choice but to represent one version of the fifth dimension. An easy example of the 5th dim is to remember the late John Belushi from the famous old movie "The Blues Bros". A visible beam of light entered a church, but the beam seamed to come from no where (spooky) The character "Jake" looked up , saw the light and it also transmitted information to him .ie light and information from the great beyond . The 5th dim entity told Jake and his brother Elwood to reunite his band , work as musicians and earn enough money to pay the back taxes on an orphanage .

Not other dimensions . I think what you mean is other possibilities , wich would be the fifth dimension . So let's say that a dot in the fifth dimension is the possibility that you would try to kill all of the African -Americans . Or Mexicans , it doesn't matter . Let's say he did that . That would only affect that possibility that is in that dot on the fifth dimention .But it would not affect our possibility of our dot in the fifth dimension.

alus22 Yes cause.. everything that you are saying zombies, you being the president and all that, you might say it is strange that all that is possible within the multiverse, but at a quantum level its not that different.
For example to have zombies maybe some mutation is required (i am no expert on zombies m just saying), so that mutation maybe is impossible in this time line cause of the rules in this universe, but maybe in some other universe where we have some other rules, maybe that is possible.
Also you being the president isn't really that strange, because that can still happen with the current rules, and just different initial conditions right? ;-)

Yes. In the 5th, you're name has drawn been countless numbers of times and at different "times" in history. And if you were in the 6th dimension, your present self could alter the past so you live in one the paths/alternate universes where you won (maybe even 5 powerballs in a row). In essence, you swapped paths through the 5th dimension.

If I had a clock which could show me multiple times based upon probabilistic outcomes I'd agree with you. Quantum mechanics does say one outcome is more likely than another, and Feynman's sum over paths methodology can help to demonstrate that, but there's nothing that guarantees that only one outcome can occur.

It’s like our soul is an outcome of the “10th dimension” because it’s able to move in every other dimension. Point is, after we spend our time and space in the 4th dimension, our soul travels on the 5th dimension to a 6th dimension to start over but where we start over depends on ,how we used, & what we decided to do, w/ our free-will

In terms of Schrodinger's Cat, all that matters is the perception of your surroundings based on the instrument of interpreting those surroundings. When you know if the cat is dead or alive, you know it is dead or alive. Those indicators of specificity are descriptions of a perceived environment, or can be taken as "possible" perceptions of "some observer" which is irrelevant.

I don't anyone (when they thought about it) who would say that we only exist "in the 3rd dimension" ('depth' if you like).
They might say we only exist in a 3-dimensional world and in time, but when explained to them they would not say we exist "in only the 3rd dimension".
If they are 5 dimensions in reality, then not only we, but everything exists in those 5 dimensionS (plural), not just the 5th dimension (singular) - the newest one discovered/postulated.
He seems to have this basic confusion

Hyperspace theory (also called Superstring or Supergravity theory) begins with Einstein's General Relativity. In 1919, Theodr Kaluza, building upon relativity, made an astounding discovery: light and gravity can be unified and expressed with identical mathematics. This was the beginning of the unification of all physical laws, which is the ultimate goal of physics. There was only one catch. He needed an extra dimension. This fifth dimension, long recognized as mathematically plausible, had never before been seriously proposed as an actual component of reality. The usefulness of his theory was hard to deny; in five dimensions, there is "enough room" to accomplish the unification of gravity and light, which simply cannot be accomplished when trapped in four dimensional spacetime. There is an obvious question to be asked at this point. "Where is the fifth dimension?" Kaluza's answer is clever, though suspiciously hard to test. He said that the fifth dimension is too small to see. The fifth dimension is contiguous with our four, but it is curled up, while the others are extended. To understand curled-up dimensions, imagine an ant living on a string (or a Linelander)
For all its life, it is only aware of two directions: forward and backward. It lives in a one-dimensional universe. However, if you examine the string very closely, you find that it has a circumference; an extra dimension, curled up and wrapped back onto itself into a circle. If you could stretch this dimension, that is, make the circumference very large, the ant would be living on the two-dimensional surface of a cylinder. But when it's curled up, it effectively is undetectable by the ant, though it may serve as a medium for vibrations or other physical effects.
This Kaluza-Klein Theory (named after Kaluza and one of his students) was a curiosity for a while until people became disenchanted with its bizarre hypotheses and lack of concrete predictions. A common criticism was to ask why, if there could be one extra dimension, why not many? Just how many dimensions did this wacky theory have? For many years, people were content to leave gravity behind and work on examining the nature of subatomic matter via Quantum Mechanics.
Fortunately, in the 1980's, Kaluza-Klein came back with a vengence. The new wave of physicists supporting Hyperspace ("higher"-space) theories had an important element which was missing in the thirties: an exact prediction of the number of dimensions in our universe. By manipulating the formulae of Einstein, Riemann, and the like, they managed to unify all the forces of nature (gravity, the strong and weak nuclear forces, and the electromagnetic force, which includes light) in a single theory. How many dimensions did they need? Ten.
According to Hyperspace theory, each point in our four-dimensional universe conceals an additional six curled-up dimensions. The image at left provides insight on how this might be possible. Here we have a two-dimensional plane viewed at great magnification. At each point in the plane, there are the two curled-up dimensions of a sphere. In our universe, each point contains not a sphere, but a higher-dimensional object: a six-dimensional "Calabi-Yau Manifold." There is a very simple reason why we can't see these manifolds: they are less than 10^-33 centimeters across, much smaller than our most powerful microscopes can detect. Nonetheless, the movement of vibrating "strings" through these manifolds may be the source of all of physics.

Nice, this is all what I’ve been saying since I started this project in 2006. What is this from, it mentions an “illustration to the left”? The only thing missing from this description is my contention that the fifth dimension is not actually “curled up at the Planck length “, but that as creatures made of atoms and molecules embedded within a three-dimensional membrane our window into the fifth dimension occurs one Planck frame after another. And of course, 2006 is also when skepticism about the unprovability of string theory started to arise (Woit’s Not Even Wrong came out in 2006, Smolin’s The Trouble with Physics in 2007). There are other arguments for our reality coming from the fifth dimension: Hawking showed us that a mathematically complete description of the universe has to include the realm of imaginary numbers, so he invoked “imaginary time, at right angles to regular time”. Everett, writing about his Theory of the Universal Wavefunction, said that his so-called Many Worlds occur in a “subspace which is orthogonal to spacetime”. What’s orthogonal/at right angles to spacetime? The fifth dimension, I’ve been insisting.
Despite a popular RUclips science channel branding the ideas on my channel as being “nonsense” in 2012, this playground of inter-related ideas I’ve been promoting is much the same as what Nobel laureate Kip Thorne explains in his 2014 book The Science of Interstellar. As executive producer and science advisor on Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, Thorne approved the visualization of the fifth dimension as being the space where the multiple probabilistic outcomes of Everett’s Many Worlds can be viewed simultaneously. Thorne, like me, says our observed reality comes from the fifth dimension. He also tells us not to get too hung up on how many dimensions there are beyond that, saying anything beyond the fifth dimension is not directly connected to our currently observed reality. Therefore, he says, it’s fair game to lump all the extra dimensions beyond the fifth together and call them The Bulk. Is that all we need? With my project I’ve been saying the sixth dimension includes the versions of Everett’s Many Worlds that have zero probability of being observed, like the ones where it’s 2019 and dinosaurs still walk the earth. String Theory, by the way, has suggested that our universe is embedded within a three dimensional and a seven-dimensional membrane, which would tie to my contention that our universe with its locked-in physical laws occupies a unique six-dimensional phase space of all possible states, all of which is locked in place at a position within the seventh dimension, and which might also be embedded within the eight-dimensional E8 manifold. This leaves the ninth dimension as the information part of the information equals reality paradigm promoted by quantum physicists like Seth Lloyd and Anton Zeilinger, the tenth dimension as the “everything as one thing” of Tegmark’s Ultimate Ensemble, and the 11th dimension as being the zero-dimensional point we started from, which moves from state to state within the other dimensions to create one observed reality or another. Like I always say, we start with a point, and you are the point. Schrodinger, Planck, Bohr, and Heisenberg all believed consciousness is fundamental - no observer and every possible outcome exists in superposition - so consciousness is the point that moves from state to state, from Planck frame to Planck frame, to create our observed reality containing point-like particles from out of the quantum wavefunction. These ideas all spring from the logic of the point line plane postulate, the accepted methodology for visualizing any number of spatial dimensions, and are explored further in my new book #westartwithapoint, which I am currently posting videos reading from here on my channel. Thanks for writing!

I'm amazed that the movie Interstellar brought so many people to this video. To me, the 5th dimension is experienced, not a "place" where a hovering astronaut peers out at the 3d world. I doubt that at some point we're all going to be occupying a bookshelf world of boxed space. I think it's more about expanding our understanding of what is already in place that we're just not paying attention to at the moment.

Think of the fifth dimension as a map rather than the either/or proposition that we experience in 4D space-time. All these different scenarios you describe are like different paths on this 5D map. So in the same way that if I'm traveling down Main Street, and I turn left on Broadway Avenue, that doesn't mean Main Street ceases to exist, it just means I'm no longer observing it.

Thank you for giving your knowledge freely, as all knowledge should be. This, including the end mention of 5th dimensional theory of black holes, including white holes, makes me chuckle a bit; only because it confirms the knowledge found inside, of the truths relating to this universe and all universes. I love how each individual soul is a universe, and therefore the multiverse does exist without chaos linked to each individual. I have come to understand that the multiverse is the attached 5th Dimension of all results of all actions in all scenarios for your current existence in the Physical Dimensional Planes, with the purpose of taking back complete knowledge to your true self - one cannot truly understand a single choice unless all other choices are played out, which then can be added to self, and add to the "zero point energy field" for all to then experience. Science and the Spiritual are one, both explain each other, it is much greater than most can comprehend, b/c most are not vibrationally attuned for comprehension. You are a brilliant soul. Namaste.

Any occurrence of me has free will to choose an action. But, the laws of the multiverse (God, an intelligent creator?) require that another occurrence of me made the other choice. In the end, it's true that, if God knew all choices would cancel themselves out, then I am predestined with the correct choice. Salvation from my choices?

the 5th dimension is Information, in fact as you know you can ignore a dimension but the dimension ignored is always present.
you may make your calculation in 3 or 4 dimensions but you must define an origin if you want to merge 3 systems you must define a point and create an offset with the origin of each system you must so add an information you are then working in the 5th dimension.
tensor are by someway mathematical object belonging to the fifth dimension
so you already work in 5 dimensions
