Why wasn’t Amelia Jones from Cosmic Fury mentioned?! She more than earned her place as a red ranger.
Jason’s time as a red ranger may have been cut short, but he most definitely made the best of it.

That doesn't automatically make him the best though. Number 1 should be Carter, Jack, or Andros.

@@smilinmadman Again, no. He stayed a mentor and helped Conner to grow into a leader of his own. He was the most experienced and would give command sometimes, but he stayed more teacher than leader.

Don't even compare Amelia to the greats like Tommy and Jason, she wasn't even believable as a leader or red ranger.

Know what you mean. I’ve been watching Power Rangers since it first started when I was in preschool. While there are many things I wish they did differently for the show, I still always look forward to a new series. That’s why I’m disappointed they aren’t releasing anything this year. I really hope they aren’t actually rebooting the show.
Jason’s time as a red ranger may have been cut short, but he most definitely left the biggest impression. He’s the quintessential red ranger.

Even today, 'Forever Red' is my favourite Power Rangers episode of all time!
That episode still holds up too. I think it's better than most of what's come after it honestly. It blew my mind the first time I saw it.

I remember first watching it when I was 12 and my mind was blown away.
Forever red proved why Cole should be a top 5. He hung up there with the legends and proved he can shine amongst them. Plus the bond he had with the red lion zword and the Falcon zword were unmatched.
In my opinion nobody beats Jason as the Red Ranger Nobody!!! he set the tone. He had the attitude and he was an underrated leader!!

RPM is so underrated. I loved the tone of that show. The first half of the series almost didnt even feel like a PR show.
I think fans appreciate it more compared to what came after 😂
This is why I love watching RPM. It's one of the darkest series it's ever been produced.
@@marylynch948 Right? That's what I appreciated about it too. The character intros in the first couple episodes, the story and setting...As a kid that grew up with the OG PRs in the 90s, seeing a PR show in a setting like that was refreshing.
Not mention it had one of the coolest Black rangers in Power ranger shows, like Dillion who is a half cyborg with a villainous sister trying to conquer the world with Venjix by hacking the World's computers🤖🤖.
@@haroldalan7080 Totally agree. Honestly, Dillon's first scene was what peaked my intrest in the show. Him pulling up in an old school Camaro then single-handedly take out a group of robots all to preserve a sunflower trying to thrive in a dying world was so badass.
The Origin of Venjix and how the world got to the state that it was in was pretty interesting as well.
Power Rangers in Space was my favorite season of any of the series, but I have to agree that Jason was the best. And I’m really glad Andros made top 3, very deserving spot.
Space is my 2nd fave, and I think Andros can have an argument for 2nd best red

The Disney Era had some of my favorite red rangers including Scott, Connor and Jack.

Probably the best era during the time Disney owned Power rangers for a time, but after a short while Disney had Power rangers after Rpm season the owner Saban decided to let it be on the Nickelodeon channel and it was called Neo saban📺📺.

I agree about Devon and Zayto, they are somehow missed in a list that contained brody and Aurico.
Nick definitely deserves it the most but not as much as Troy he was kind of corny and I felt like he was a Jayden knock off.

Not to mention he gave on his team when he fighting Ocotmus. Not saying he’s my least favorite Red Rangers, but is that how a Red Ranger should be?
I know it's not actually a Red Ranger, but Eric the Quantum Ranger is the best in a Red Suit. Such a bad ass, and a great character development.
I still count him as "one of the Red Rangers" despite him not being your traditional one. His bad boy/asshole attitude who had to do it all by himself to a team player was a great development over the course of the series.
Well he is a red ranger or he wouldn't have appeared in forever red, he's an extra ranger not legendary just remember that.
Wes will always be my favorite the guy matured alot and was willing to fight a whole army to save time and space itself plus he has one of the coolest battlizers ever

For me, Carter Grayson from lightspeed rescue was and always will be my personal favorite of the red rangers.
He was such an awesome character, and willing to put his life on the line numerous times even before becoming a Ranger.
Much respect to him, and I would love to see him come back to the franchise someday
And Carter survived being dragged into Hell with Diabolico. Dude is such a badass
@@yamigekusu oh, yeah, that’s season had one of the best teams and one of the coolest villains with Diabolico.
I got to meet the voice actor for the latter and he is actually a very nice and down to earth guy. Got to meet the daughter of Jason, David Frank at that same convention.

For me, Scott Truman is the best red ranger, I felt like even after losing his brother, he still continued to be a ranger...and I think he was on a whole another level everytime that he morphed.

Amelia was one of my absolute favorite Red Rangers I saw it from the minute this last season started. I saw her becoming the new red ranger a mile away, and was an absolute standout this season
Cosmic Fury only came out 2 days ago, These videos are pre recorded probably weeks in advance, given the amount of content they pump out

Imo, Jayden is the best red ranger because unlike any red ranger, he has had the discipline his whole life, never runs from a fight, protects his friends whatever the cost and he is fearless. Also his powers as a power have been passed down from parent to child for GENERATIONS! He exceeded all my expectations in the series.
JDF will always be a legendary ranger even in death.

Honorable mentions goes to Dino/Cosmic Fury’s Zayto and Amelia Jones. Amelia for being the first pink ranger to become red. And Zayto for becoming the first red ranger to become a morphin master.
Dishonorable mention goes to Megaforce’s Troy. We all know why.
Jason Lee Scott will always be number 1. He is the OG in the American Sentai version. Also he looks like Elvis Presley. The team-up with "Forever Red" with Jason coming back and teaming up with Tommy and the other Red Rangers was epic.
Power Rangers Dino Charge is my favorite, it’s what got me into the series. And Tyler was the best red ranger to me.

Best Red Ranger, Jason keeps winning Internet polls since 2004. Natural Born Leader, Caring Old Brother Type, Never backs down, defeated Tommy and did everything He could to protect His Team. OG Red still the best.
Can someone make a list for the top Monsters in the entire franchise?
Terra Venture was originally called Promethea which was founded by Zordon’s original Red Ranger before Jason, Grace Sterling. She lost most of her team save for one other team member who also survived against Psycho Green who killed all the other members. Jason actually never actually attended a peace conference he was chosen to be the Red Omega Ranger along with Trini as the Yellow Omega Ranger and Zack as the Black Omega Ranger. The Blue Omega Ranger was named Kiya and she actually had a direct Line to the Morphin Grid after Drakkon shattered the Grid.
Forever Red basically had most of the Top 10 Red Rangers

Something about Jason that should be acknowledged is that he's the first super powered red ranger, as when he held the dragon power coin in addition to his own T-Rex power coin, he even used both power sword and dragon dagger simultaneously in a battle with a very powerful monster.
Uh... no he's not. Zayto preceeded him by 65 million years.

Brody makes the list but Zayto doesn't? Man wears a full suit of knightly armour while riding an actual tyrannosaurus rex into battle, all the time deflecting laser blasts with a sword. That's fairly hardcore. Eventually ascends to become a god-like being, and one of the only Red Rangers to actually make the ultimate sacrifice for the good of his team. Man also won an intergalactic war (twice). No biggy I guess.
Always feels like these videos haven't seen the more recent seasons of Power Rangers, but eh, guess they're nostalgia baiting more than anything.
Also, is it just me, or did Andros not make the list? WHAT?! Man only lead the team that saved the entire universe. Also no biggy I guess? Hopefully I just wasn't paying enough attention and I missed him.
Just seems odd that two of the indisputable most powerful and influential Red Rangers, who were both mentors as much as they were leaders, and who should both easily be in any of top five, don't make the list.
EDIT: Ah Andros was on the list. I guess I zoned out once we got to top 3 because it was always going to be Jason and Tommy if they didn't feature earlier on the list. Still doesn't explain no Zayto at all, let alone top 5, console he faces much of the same challenges as Andros.

Power Rangers Mystic Force my favorite
Yeah, especially with powerful characters during the show like Nick, Xander and Koragg,Nick and Koragg fought each other numerous times in Mystic to see who was the better opponent and Koragg was somehow trying to impress the Master to unleash him on the world🐺🐺.
Over 20+ years, and I’ll still always pick Jason Scott overall in any Power Ranger Ranger category, in terms of Power Ranger or even Ranger.
Shouldn't this list have come before the Blue Ranger list from yesterday? Because I was wondering if I had missed the Red list already and didn't notice.
As Tenaya 7 says, "Red is the perfect one." And it's a great color to see. The best Red Rangers embody the patience and wisdom to lead those very different from them :)

Troy is a good red ranger tho and yes Mega force was trash in the beginning but Super mega force is good in my opinion

I literally remember everyone in my age group pretending like they didn't watch Power Rangers, it was one of those things that everybody made fun of you for watching but they damn sure watched themself. And I grew up with the best group of Rangers the original six and undoubtedly without question goats......

My 2 top red rangers are Cole Evans from Wild Force & Connor McKnight from DinoThunder. They have the most badass looking battlizers, plus Triassic Ranger was the 6th ranger from DinoThunder

My favorite Red rangers are Conner mcknight from Dino thunder and Casy rhodes from Jungle fury, both of these Red rangers have incredible enchanted modes blow up evil minions like Casey's Jungle master mode with a Claw booster and Conner,s Super dino mode when he first used it against the White dino ranger🗡️🗡️.
tommy oliver, wes collins, cole evans, tyler narro, jayden shiba, jack landors, conner mcknight, and jason lee scott are the red rangers that had have the coolest upgrades ever.
Pretty spot on list. I haven't properly watched a Power Ranger series since Ninja Storm, but for the Red Rangers that I am familiar with, I was satisfied by their placements in this list - especially the top 5. I could argue that Andros deserves to be #2, but at the end of the day I'm glad WatchMojo got the 3 best Red Rangers right.
