Foxes are pretty damned adaptable, this fox in particular is an exceptionally good climber and is the only canid/vulpine adapted to climb trees.

A couple of weeks ago, I was walking in the surroundings of my village, and saw from the top of a hill a little red fox drinking in a trough. I saw it was coming right to my direction, so I just stood there, with my mobile, ready to record it. It came to me jumping carefree and it didn't notice me until it was too close. It seemed confused rather than scared, instead of running away, it just walked more distantly. It wasn't until it noticed I was following him, still recording, when it ran as fast as it could.
That same afternoon, I returned to Madrid and thought to myself "How can such small animal live such simple life in such a huge and complex worl?".
Life is beautiful my friends. Enjoy it.
