I remember back in the 80s a friend custom ordered a KW. Spec'd out everything he wanted . Time passed and they called to say it was in. When Dale stopped by , the salesman came out shake his hand and said congratulations son except for a few fire trucks that is the most expensive truck we've ever built. My thoughts were he should have left that dealership running. Eventually it was a great truck , after a lot of modifications on his part. Somehow it was paid off in 4 years.
I'm really impressed with the video about the strong and durable American trucks! I truly admire the trucks that carry wood-they are not only big but also very powerful. Could you share more about the special features or technologies that make these trucks stand out? Looking forward to more exciting videos like this from you!
An Amazing Truck built for the tough Australian Terrain . Expensive price tag , but over its working life will more than pay for itself , if you want the best you have to pay the price ,😀😎👍
How do you see the heavy SCANIA V-8 trucks and engines / several configurations 6 x 2, 6 x 4, 6 x 6, 8 x 2, 8 x 4, 8 x 6, 10 x 4 and 10 x 6 drivelines, which over the years builded the Australian trucking and trading and heavy haulage services world - wide. Greetings from the Netherlands. 😊
The Mack Titan was discontinued for the North American market, probably replaced by the Mack Anthem, which was introduced in 2018. Australian trucks are built differently and can only be matched by those working in the Nordic Countries and Brazil. Although Mack is under Volvo, the two companies do not share engines. Mack runs the MP 11 and Volvo the D17. Both engines are inline sixes and churn out 780 hp.
There was no replacement for the Titan in the US. The Anthem is a pure highway tractor and a very different kind of truck. There's still the Pinnacle for more rugged applications too, but that already existed before and alongside the US Titan.
Made in Australia, USA Trucks, Mack, Kenworth, international ( IVECO), western , are assembled better than in USA, to different specifications than USA. Quality and service.
There is no need for for a truck with 700 Hp in the US - Exept from special heavy load - they only drive with small loads there It can be used in Australia - and are build by MACK Australia too 😊
LOL It has an 8 track? Must be an old truck to have one. I would still go with a Kenworth W900 with a Cummins X15 turned up to 700+ HP. BTW there are more KW Long Hood and Cab Overs sold in Australia than Mack or Pete.
The Australian trucks are built much better than the ones in North America. The EPA has destroyed the manufacturer’s ability to make a reliable product.
200000 $ truck to pull cows 😂 are you joking that is worth ? go to europe to see the real trucks how to pull , especialy the volvo and scanias . american trucks is all weak trucks and playmobil trucks and doesnt fit anywhere even and in the american roads !😂
I can show you a video of a Volvo pulling 750 tonnes across a port less than a mile. And then I can show you a video of a Kenworth c501 pulling a road train 150 trailers long and weighing over 1000 tone and it pulled it for 8 kelomiters and it only got 600 hp
european trucks need to be stronger, yet shorter, because they got tighter turns to take, while climbing hills. America doesn't have that kinda situations that often... also, their long haulers are mostly for the open roads, not for navigating towns... for that hey have theirs trusty box trucks in different shapes and flavours! soo, yes, while compared to the european trucks, the american trucks do seem a bit underpowered and cumbersome, their logistics infrastructure is way more better shaped than ours... as I said... you don't really see big rigs roaming in their towns that often as you see them big rigs in the european countries, and that annoys me, as a pedestrian, and as a driver...
1st the titan has a max hp of 685 and is a lot more than 200000 in australia where it was designed to operate 2nd have you ever heard of the c500 series kenworth or the 6900 western star which are in the same class as the titan
Mack I think is on Road long enough to show the power full machine see what happens whit new ones arrive in Colombia this years because kenwort at the moment is more popular one and in Australia only Mack predominantly service there but in America is so many companies produce trucks I got confused now anyway i like Mack question is if come to Colombia they’re supposed to supply spare parts because Australia is most flat terrain Colombia they’re heavy mountain and requires powerful machines whit the heavy duty engines is lot different in terrain wise that what i believe and kenworth proof all over the years realible trucks for Colombia see what happens thanks 🙏
That's me with the dump truck. Titan 265t rated C18 💪💪
So many different models here, different decades and different engines
I drove a Mack Truck. Got some tickets in it. Great pulling track
Wow, these Amercian trucks have reach the European truk's from the late 80', early 90', wow so modern.!
They dont make a mack titan in the usa anymore

I still will stick with the w900 Kenworth.!😂❤
The torque is 3800 Nm (2800 ft. lb) 17 l engine, same output as the volvo d17 engine
All The modern Mack's run Volvo engine's here in Australia the last good mack was back in the 90s with the e9 V8 Mack engine

Thanks for your comment. There is still a lot of different content coming. I am working hard to deliver good videos.

@@BigTruckTime what about Volvo?
You must hate that its a volvo 😅
The Titan was conceived in Australia by Mack Australia for Aussies truckers!!!!
No wonder it does wonders down under!!!!
200k for semi is high but not outrages in western and oceanic countries.
Bueno mack es muy buena marca no se que tiene el mack australiano diferente del mack de estados unidos pero por lo que se ve los australianos sin desprecio con los de estados unidos salen buenísimos 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

They are the same engine they are not different at all
@@TeaDrivenDevthe high horse power granite was the technical replacement.
The mack MP is literally a rebadged volvo D engine 😂

Yes it worth the price
This Australian one, not America one! Australian Mark is 10 times better than American one
It’s a Mack for your information.NOT a mark.get it right geezer.
@@andynicholls8064😅
Vovo powerd 695hp and a auto and its a mack 😂 🤪
Why is it better? Have to question that theory
A truck is only as good as it is speced and designed for the work it is expected to do
yes
The one pulling the cows is an old superliner...hear the music 500 hp
Yes is the best in the world ther Mack truck very strong in us dollars 200:00
There is no need for for a truck with 700 Hp in the US - Exept from special heavy load - they only drive with small loads there

Mack Superliner RW is still the Mack for me, not the titan. I don't think the Tiatan did well in the U.S market so it's sold and made elsewhere now.
Bonneted Volvo Mack isn’t Mack anymore sad, but that’s a fact

its a volvo really
Yep,...engine V 8 cil and 780 horse,....oh yeah america eat that.
