Sir I have a question does wave hav mass ???? (( If not then how they exert force and how they have momumentum ,and also by de brogli hypothesis particle can show wave nature so partical have mass means wave have mass ?????)
You are correct , a particle having certain mass behaves like a wave (has wavelength) and waves like light and cathode rays have mass (thus KE). But a massive particle (let us consider a tennis ball) having more mass and low velocity compared to a photon or electron, has a negligible wave nature (this has near 0 chance of passing Young's double slit). Similarly a high velocity particle with negligible mass (what we consider as a wave) would have negligible particle nature (thus you won't feel like getting gunshot after pointing a laser beam on hand , that's negligible Kinetic Energy). Hope that clears the doubt.
I respect you for how simple and accurate you've made physics. But what do you mean single particle? Single particle would mean a blackhole. because a point is considered as small as planck's length . A point at which all mass concentrates is a blackhole essentially. Had we considered a sphere of certain radius greater that schwar..radius, then that sphere would have meant to be a centre of mass that can behave physically consistent with the motion of the rotating object.

In the example of coin flipping, you saw the motion called trans rotational. We can easily study the translational motion using COM. And for rotation we won't assume all masses concentrated at centre, rather it's a rigid body. We will study the motion with respect to COM which breaks down our problem to pure rotation. So the Rotational Kinetic Energy wrt COM isn't zero at all. It's (1/2 Iw²) , {I =1/4mr² for coin here}. There will be translational KE as well which is 1/2mv² & yes v is the velocity of centre of mass. Hope you got it :)

SIR GRAVITATIONAL LAW SAYS EVERY OBJECTS ATTRACT EACH OTHER WHICH IMPLIES EARTH ALSO ATTRACTED BY SUN BUT WHY THE EARTH IS REVOLVING AROUND SUN INSTEAD OF GOING TOWARD THE SUN ?
Hi Sir, first of all thank you so much for your contribution to education, your book has inspired me to pursue physics. Secondly sir, I had a related question relating to rotation and COM. If we apply a force on an object NOT going through its COM, we analyse using a torque with the axis being through the COM. Fundamentally, WHY does a free object even have to rotate when a force is applied not passing through its centre of mass, and why is that rotation always about the COM? Thanks, A Grateful student.
When a force is applied to an object in a way that doesn’t pass through its center of mass (COM), it induces both translational and rotational motion. For a "free" or unconstrained object (one not fixed to a pivot or axis), the COM acts as a natural balancing point for rotational motion. The object’s rotation around its COM allows for the simplest form of motion that preserves its angular momentum. This is why when we observe objects spinning freely, their rotation naturally centers around the COM. If we tried to analyze rotation around another point, the math would become more complicated because it would involve additional fictitious forces. Analyzing rotation around the COM simplifies things. If you choose a point other than the COM as your reference for rotation, the object’s inertia and the force distribution will create complex internal torques and fictitious (non-real) forces. These fictitious forces arise because the rotation is no longer centered at the COM, and thus, they don’t represent any real physical forces acting on the object. Newton’s laws for translation and rotation work seamlessly around the COM. When you analyze around the COM, you can apply Newton’s second law directly to calculate the translational acceleration of the COM and apply the rotational form of Newton’s second law (τ=Iα) to calculate the angular acceleration. Analyzing around the COM reduces the problem to dealing with just the actual forces and torques present, without introducing complexities of extra terms.
Respected sir, Can I tell that The COM is the only point from which any line passing then massage distribution will be same or we can say that body will be at balance condition on this line. Sir , if I have any misconceptions then please guide me.

If you apply the force for a time dt, the displacement of the point of contact is different in the three cases. So they start with different total kinetic energies (rotational and translational). Finally they will reach the same height.
Xavier-bv6yd: Sorry, I interrupted. You wanted Nilotpal to think more on it which is what I also generally do. But I knew that I will not come back to this post, so could not restrain responding. I rally liked Nilotpal's questioning spirit.
same hight पर नहीं जाएगी अगर force same है तो hight त्रिकोणमिति के रूल का पालन करेगी

Sar i had a question
Say a block of mass m is moving initially with a velocity v⁰ and the coefficient of friction u=Alpha×X. AND at centre X=0. Find max power developed as a function of x co-ordinate.
hello sir i am a student of class 10
i have an doubt in physics that is
a square loop occupies more area than a circular loop, both are made of equal length of wire. is it true or false?
i found answer but it cannot satisfy me
please solve my problem as quickly as possible
thank you
yours sincerely
NIDHI SHARMA
Circular loop ka area jyada hoga
It can be proved using maths that square and circle having same perimeter, area enclosed by circle will be always more than that of square.
Sir mujhe electron samjhna ye actually me kya hai

Hello Sir my name is Mohan Kumar , I study in class 10 I have a question related to Q Light chapter.. sir when I pass light rarer to denser medium its move towards the normal but when we passes a light through a concave lens its move away from normal sir tell me why it happen I am very happy when you answer my this question
Sir, please explain about rotational kinetic energy being zero. That question is left unanswered in your explanation.
Then kinetic energy is of centre of mass only, not of entire disk or ring, is it right please explain Sir.
Sir my name is polinaidu , how we multiply resistance interms of v/I bothe are same quantity or capacitance interms of charge divided/ voltage , and inductance formula

Sir Can you please explain about Vector Form of gravitation, its so confusing (r12 and r21)
Sir pranam . Sir I am kushagra Srivastava wondering about why if sun get disappeared then how much time it will take for earth to be free from sun gravitational field. sir I concluded 8 minutes after lot of searching but I don't know the reason why did this can happen.sir please if you have time please check out this question.
Sir I am Pritam my questions is when an electron takes energy to orbit the nucleus for as long as it exists
Sir i am a student of class 9th
My question:
If we are moving frame and see objects then objects which are closer to is are appear to move fast in backward direction but when we see distance objects it move slowly so when we increase distance of object from us it's speed of moving toward backward is deacreases why🤔🤔🤔🤔,

SIR GRAVITATIONAL LAW SAYS EVERY OBJECTS ATTRACT EACH OTHER WHICH IMPLIES EARTH ALSO ATTRACTED BY SUN BUT WHY THE EARTH IS REVOLVING AROUND SUN INSTEAD OF GOING TOWARD THE SUN ?
Thank you sir
Sir how i maile you my question?
Hi Sir, first of all thank you so much for your contribution to education, your book has inspired me to pursue physics.
Secondly sir, I had a related question relating to rotation and COM. If we apply a force on an object NOT going through its COM, we analyse using a torque with the axis being through the COM. Fundamentally, WHY does a free object even have to rotate when a force is applied not passing through its centre of mass, and why is that rotation always about the COM?
Thanks,
A Grateful student.
Respected sir,
Can I tell that The COM is the only point from which any line passing then massage distribution will be same or we can say that body will be at balance condition on this line.
Sir , if I have any misconceptions then please guide me.
I want to ask doubt how pls
