  • A little maintenance is required on my mom's ride. Block heater cord repair, Air box removal and a drivers side front wheel speed sensor replacement...well at least what I thought was the sensor.
In this video, I'll try and clearly go through the process of removal and install of the new sensor.
The ABS, Traction Control and Stabilitrak warning lamps are all on. We are also get a C0035 code for the left front wheel speed sensor circuit which I believe is the issue.
This procedure should be very similar for the other Lambda platform vehicles such as the GMC Acadia and the Buick Enclave.
    Thanks for watching!

That was mind boggling to go through all of that work. Can’t wait to see Part 2. Great job and amazing filming. Your property looks so beautiful and peaceful. I’ll bet that the only sounds to be heard in such a serene setting, are those of you clinking and clunking away at rusty bolts on the car.

Just did mine yesterday. What a pain in the a$$. Your video was very helpful. Had to drill my sensor out as well. Getting that "kidney" shaped attachment on the air box lower housing was very tough. Mine was loose as well...wondering how long it was loose and what the heck that thing does. Hopefully never again! Thanks for the video.

So, the sensor was not the problem, it was the bearing. I was thinking about changing all my speed sensors along with the bearings. If after I change out all the bearings and if any of the sensors is bad I will then change them all. But for now, ill just focus on the bearings.

I'm glad it helped! I'll be changing the hub this weekend to finish the repair. Make sure you check that magnet ring on the back of the hub before condemning the sensor. Learn from my mistakes lol. Thanks for watching.

I have 2 code readers and they don’t pick up abs codes for some reason, now I am tempted to get this one to figure this out on my traverse

You should watch utube videos instead of making them.

Nah, I'd rather be the one making the videos and entertaining people. It's just more fun that way! But hey, I have had you comment on both my Traverse videos now. Remember this one on my hub video? "Have you tried professional help?" Not very nice comments lol!! Thanks for boosting the algorithm!

Did I say "You should watch u-tube videos instead of making them"? If yes then I repeat. .@@NorthernHomeGarage
