    We should be able to add “tags” to our profile that teammates can see easily. Imagine how much easier it would be to synergizes with your allies strengths if you could see “learning wrecking ball”, “learning doomfist” or “junkrat one trick”

      Imagine being able to see my teammates top 3 characters of the role they are playing so i could work around their hero pool and synergise.

    Suggestion - Enable Juno's gun to shoot while she is acquiring target for her missiles. Juno feels bad when you can't stop healing with the gun or your ally will die, but you can see a good opportunity for using missiles or multiple teammates needs healing. Feels even worst when you are getting low on ammo and hear the different sound the gun makes, you know that you have to reload but missile are too slow to heal in time. Too compensate, maybe you can make her acquitting target more visible to the enemies, like shinning spotlight on her scanners.

      I like her shooting during torpedo lock but I don’t think we need it to telegraph bc it doesn’t do enough damage to need that. And a lot of good skills don’t telegraph.

    Suggestion: Let us pin like three progression badges under our name on our battle tag. Like if I’m proud of my earth shatter kills, I could pin that badge to show off; or if I want people to know I dumped my whole life into comp-they can tell by my badge.

    Suggestion: make pink skins for other characters such as Lucio even if it’s just a recolored ribbit skin. It’ll allow people who don’t play mercy to be able to support a good cause

    Suggestion: have Mauga burn crits be reduced by the tank passive the same way headshots are. This way he can be less of a tank buster and have the oportunity to improve his match up against squishies, like reducing his spread.

    Another reason we should be able to pick what client-side voice line we hear is that Ana and Tracer are the only 2 mythic skins that have an actively different client-side ult voice line. Everyone else, the unique voice line is only for enemies/allies. Same with special legendaries, like Inarius Pharah, who says "Justice rains from the heavens" or "Prophet's barrage incoming!" but it's just "Justice rains from above" for the person USING THE SKIN!!

      Not only voice lines, but voices too. Mythic skins have altered voices client-side only, but the Transformers collab skins have server-side voices, so they can do it, just chose not to for the mythics.

    We should have a "Babel tower" sound mode (along side English, French, Korean ...) were every hero speaks their own country language. Winston speaks esperanto of course.
    This could be so funny, and a lot of the dubbing is already done.

    Unpopular opinion: they should have made Mei into tank instead of doomfist when they made that switch. They could give her freeze thing again but lower her overall damage or make it require more stacks to achieve freeze on an enemy hero. Her kit revolves around staying alive, walls, cc etc.
    In Heroes of the storm they made her into a tank lol and I always found that an interesting idea for OW.

      I think it's perfectly reasonable to suggest for Mei to be put into the Tank category. Her entire kit could be copied onto a new Tank and no one would bat an eye. She has an ability that takes space by walling off or separating enemies. Primary fire and an ultimate that CCs enemies, Even her Cryo-Freeze is equivalent to a hog vape that, as it is now, essentially gives her up to a 599 HP health pool. Hell, having a Tank that can wall off allies would cause people to freak out. Imagine the devs saying they were moving this Tank into the Damage category.

      not to mention, low elo mei's consistently cuck my tank plays with her wall and ice form... like, hello?? i am the tank, not you. suggestion for her hit box. make her take increased damage when directly hit, and have her cyro-freeze heal over time when cancelled or fully healed, with an ice "shield" that envelops her and increases heal regen and hitbox size while slightly decreasing her movement speed.

      mei is fun and has a high skill cap the way she is, i think the reason they shouldnt do this revolves less around the question of "why not" as it does "what does this fix" which for me, is nothing.

    How much of a coding nightmare is it to remove the "hero swap locked by echo ultimate"? Or could they do it easily they just want me to sit it spawn waiting for echos ult to expire before I can swap?

    Suggestion: Make the "free" store worth it, the skins and decorations that You can buy with the free credits can be found at the same price in the heroes display. Maybe give it a small credit discount so that it is worth going to see what's in the store.

    To add to the client side ult lines idea - have there be a small % chance that your hero will say their April Fools ult line. Could be something like 5%.
    So (client side) 95% of the time you hear "Surrender to my will." 5% "*I'll show you meta!*"

    Suggestion: gives Mauga a heat meter for using both guns at the same time that only decreases when he stops shooting. If it fills up to full then he goes into cardiac arrest and locked out of firing altogether. This allows Blizzard to buff the gun switching playstyle without drastically increasing his tank busting ability.

      I had a similar idea, changing his ammo to 100 per gun, and guns gradually reload when not fired, so you can switch between them infinitely but can only fire both for about 5 seconds.

    Cass rolling ult seems like it would come from someone who uses it to solely go for picks, when often times it is a more effective tool to help your team stabilize as soon as you lose momentum. You can flat out win games from allowing your team another level shot at defense halfway through a payload round

      The same concept applies to Kiriko's ult, where you pop it after you slow down your opponents momentum with her kit to where the momentum is mostly level leading into a steam roll, which unironically can be halted by high noon.

      because it would allow cree to zone and get a 3k at once. whereas now, there are multiple ways to get value from his ult, each with boons and drawbacks. Adding a roll would take away that complexity to high noon. It would lower the skill floor and ceiling to a point where pressing Q would be pretty drab to play and play against

      a noon for tempo forces both sides to make decisions and results in a tug of war for space. if he could just roll out and get a 3k, the only two realistic choices for the opposing team to make would be, run away and get cover or full commit onto or past cree

    Score Clash similar to Push and add a timer. You only score points for objectives in enemy territory (or the neutral objective). Add ticks to each objective and allow teams to capture objectives in their own territory faster to compensate

      ​@@SIimyGoblin I do think it's too snowball heavy. Had many games where a team caps first two points with no issue, one person dies trying to cap final point and then the entire match flips. It feels like the "losing" spawns are too far away, except the final spawn room, which is too close.

    I'll never stop campaigning for the entire removal of Mercy's Resurrect ability. Not because it's OP. It's not. Basically the opposite, because against good teams the ability just doesn't get used often. So much of her power is tied up in an ability that might as well be tied to her ultimate with how often it can go off. Instead, I'd much rather see a different ability with a much lower cooldown, something we can actually use regularly in battle. Players don't like fighting against Rez, most of us Mercy mains don't think it's too fun of an ability. Just ditch it and give us something else.

    All of Illari’s abilities actually prevent her from recalling pylon and it’s SO frustrating and doesn’t really make sense.

    Suggestion: Allow players to choose whether they hear enemy ultimate voice lines or general voice lines as if the enemy doesn't have a skin that changes what they say.
    There have been many instances where I've mistaken an enemy ultimate for an ally's, simply because the enemy's skin altered their voice lines.

    Suggestion: Juno's Pulsar Torpedoes should be changed to a resource cooldown with multiple charges (like Blink or Sym turrets) that recharge individual torpedoes up to a maximum. I think maybe an even 10 instead of the 9 max you can get in 5v5. Each torpedo would take 1-2 seconds to recharge (longer to make up for ease of use), and there would be a 2-4 second cooldown after using the ability. Right now the 10 second cooldown only feels warranted when you get big lock ons and feels easily wasted when you lose LOS. With this change they could also swap the ability from toggle to hold to cast and allow primary fire, since it feels so awkward just wasting your time with a lock on just to have allies die. I would gladly trade torpedo dmg/healing for ease of use!

    Suggestion hanzo should get a new ability, either a explosive that does less damage but in an area that can be used to finish enemies and get some ult charge, or and thermite arrow that does less damage on the initial hit but applies a damage over time effect that will effectively one shot somebody if they dont get healed. Both arrows should probably travel slower and have a semi long cooldown.

    Life Grip should heal over time instead of burst upon activation. The longer the ally is Gripped, the more healing they receive (because it's healing per second/game tick).
    I've always thought this should be the case, it's just what makes intuitive sense to me.

    Suggestion: Capture points in flashpoint (+ other modes?) should have the number of seconds shown until the point is captured, instead of it being like it is now with just a percentage, making the actual time left on the objective ambiguous (especially because they progress faster than capture points in other modes).

    7:10 the issue with this suggestion is how skins are loaded in-game. I believe how it works is that all skins that players currently have equipped for their role are loaded before a match fully begins (i.e. the spawn doors opening), that way the game doesn't have to load those new assets mid-game. This is also why if you backfill into a game it can sometimes take a while to load your character model, as the game might not have had that skin model loaded already. If the game had to load a ton of new assets every time a player died, it could have major performance issues. This is also probably why they don't let us switch skins after a match begins.

    Suggestions for Juno’s missiles: her missiles should work like they do in titanfall 1/2, (i’ll talk about xbox control scheme jus cuz im more familiar) now you have to press RB to enter the “missile state” and then you need to press the triggers to cancel or shoot, it would be less awkward and easier if you just had to hold RB and shoot or cancel whenever you stoped holding it.
    I don’t think the missiles should have a longer lock-on time for far away enemies, it is already hard enough to hit someone super far with the travel time alone, maybe increase the lock-on time a little bit but remove the increase with distance.
    Finally (and more of an experiment than a suggestion) with the console FOV it is easy to lose targets close up while locking onto them, maybe having the lock on linger on the target for 1-2 seconds while being out of your FOV would make the missiles more consistent, with this one i think the impact of the missiles should be reduced a bit. This could be used to shoot at an angle when there’s an obstruction in the way. I say this is more of an experiment cuz idk if this change would be too much for pc.
    Overall these suggestions are aimed to make Juno’s missiles more consistent and intuitive to use.

      If you go into her Hero settings, there's specific options to change it so you can just hold the button rather than make it toggleable. I don't remember off hand if there's cancel, but holding to lock on and let go is an option.

    Suggestion: Somewhere on the character selection screen, it would be nice if we could see all the comp's (dive/brawl/rush etc.) and highlight the characters from them. Also, a bonus applied to 2/3/5 sets of characters from a comp.
    Ex:) 2 from dive applies low speed bonus, 3 from brawl applies mid dmg boost. 5 from dive is applies high speed bonus.

    I don't know if this is a good/bad suggestion or has already been said, but think back with me to those halcyon days of playing Winter Wonderland. The Yeti Hunter mode had 6 player lobbies, where players would mostly queue for Mei but I believe the role selection screen said "PREFER Hunter", indicating that there could be a chance you'd end up being the Yeti.
    Could bringing this "prefer" state of mind to this be a viable queueing option for 6v6 to alleviate the tank role? Players would select "PREFER DPS/Support", with the understanding that they may have to flex to tank to fill the gap?

      Counter suggestion play her a lot during 2 or 3 gaming sessions and you will be able to play against her. She is not that strong when you understand what Sombra wants.

      ​@Le_Chapardeur counter argument. She takes 0 skill whatsoever, and she counters everyone while having no counter. There is no way to effectively play against a Sombra. She comes from behind and hacks someone, throws virus, and kill them. Then she just teleports back to her team.

    Suggestion : lower Hanzo's primary fire damage to 90 so it can't one shot anymore with damage boost, but move storm arrow to a secondary fire with each arrow having an individual cool-down of 3-5 sec.
    This would allow for much more flexibility in the way storm arrow is used and allow Hanzo to get a one-shot combo bringing back the potential to take agressive angles but would force him to land more deliberate arrows rather than getting lucky kills by spamming at a choke. It would also open up some vulnerability moments where Hanzo uses all of his storm arrows and can be killed quickly encouraging the Hanzo player to manage his arrows mindfully. Finally it would relieve some pressure from tank players by making storm arrows less frequent while still leaving it as an option for Hanzo to defend himself.

    suggestion: Sojourn's railgun should have its own distinct hitmarker effect upon contact (kind of like how headshots look but maybe Blue instead of Red).
    Currently, her primary and secondary fire hitmarkers look exactly the same, leading to akward moments where you dont actually know which one you received a hitmarker for.

    We should have an entire season dedicated to the Overwatch 2 Heroes (everyone from Sojourn to Juno). Everything in the Battlepass and Shop (or at least just the Battlepass) should be purely for them during that season.

    Instead of Mercy's Res bringing someone right back into the fight, I think it'd be interesting to test having Res just instantly respawn them in the spawn room and give you a large speed boost. That way they could balance it more by reducing the cooldown or cast time.

    Suggestion: If Lifeweaver grips an ally over 80% health, or the lifegrip is cancelled, the cooldown is halved. A way to counteract this is allowing allies to exit the pull with the interact key.
    As one of Lifeweaver's more unique qualities is setting up plays with lifegrip, I think that enabling characters (i.e., giving Widow a second "grapple", returning characters to the fight quicker), while also reducing the "troll-ability" of the character, could make him more viable as a utility support.

    Suggestion: Juno should be able to go back to ground level 1 time. The same way she's limited to 1 jump, let her "crouch" once and go to ground level while keeping her speed. Being stuck in the air with only the option to cancel feels bad.

    gameplay shakeup idea: abilities that become available at certain percentages of your ult-charge, and are single-use until you reach that ult percentage again. this might be hard to do for the devs, and would take a long time, but there's also infinite potential. here are some examples.
    symmetra: at 50% gets another teleporter that doesnt have a distance limit and can be placed anywhere on anything as long as its not out of bounds
    widowmaker: at 65% to ult, she can activate a mini version of her ult that only wallhacks the nearest enemy player to her upon activation. or it could work on a specific range around her.
    another for widow, at 55% she can launch one of her venom mines that when it gets activated, the enemy is revealed to everyone instead of just her

    Suggestion: They need to add a feature that gives us the ability to display our heroes on a green/bluescreen when looking at their victory poses, emotes and skins in the menu. Too many times I've gone to make a thumbnail for a small thing I've captured with friends only to spend several hours painstakingly cutting the things I want out of the standard menu background. It would be so much easier if we could set the display to green/bluescreen itself so this process saves us time. This is a very niche problem I have but I bet every singe content creator and editor would praise Blizzard for this feature.
    In the same vein we need a Bluescreen map like we have a Greenscreen map. How are we supposed to chromakey Genji, Orisa & Lucio on a green background???

    There should be a sound effect or something in the kill feed when people switch characters midmatch. I've died plenty of times not knowing that the enemy team switched to a character like widow, sombra, or even hog. This would give you a heads up so you dont have to be spamming tab between each teamfight.

    Hot Take/ Suggestion- every character should have a passive, something at least, small or large. I just feel hero passives add a lot to their identity. Kinda like how mercy used to be the only passive heals, it made her feel more angelic, a force of healing

      Ashe Skeet shooter- small damage buff to targets a certain height off the ground
      Widows "Spider bite" where a % of damage is converted to poison, that ticks over 2 seconds, allowing the see poisoned enemies through walls to activate more

    suggestion: there should be a "deep fried" sound option in settings that is on by default, what it does is make the ping beep and the killfeed sfx (not the heroes' screams) deafening loud while having its sound quality crushed like those in meme videos SO THEY WILL NEVER IGNORE MY PINGS ON REAPER TP NOR POP ULT WITH FOUR DEAD TEAMMATES DAMMIT

    my two cents, run juno's ult like viktor's E ability (I think, it's been a long time since i played) put juno in 3rd person like bastion ult, and have her click and drag where she wants her ult to be and the direction. Obviously give it a smaller range around her so it's not global.

    I like the idea of Hanzo getting a conditional headshot, but maybe it should be based on range, whether from afar or from up close, or maybe only enemies who are within the sonic arrow's range.

    I disagree with the voice line thing. There's a reason ult lines are more aggressive when you or the opponent use them, and brighter when your team does. Supports especially need to be soft when YOU use them, otherwise players wouldn't be inclined to use them to heal their team, which is kinda the staple attribute of support heroes.

    Widow should have a portion of her sniper damage changed to a DoT so she can remain effective and keep her damage output without having the frustrating one shot that removes counterplay for supports

    Suggestion: Make it so that OWL team skins will change the colour of the characters abilities in the same way that they do in OWL streams, but make it client-side only or an opt-in. If it only affects the people who opt-in then it shouldn't be confusing to new players when the Winston in the Hangzhou Spark gear is shooting pink lightning. The OWL Tokens are quite expensive and all you really get is a slightly different default skin, I feel like having these recoloured abilities will incentivize people to buy the skins for the pretty colours.

    I think the problem with backfilling is I'm not sure you'd be able to program the ability for the game to tell the difference between backfilling and rejoining. So, use your ult, leave game, rejoin, get 40% ult. Probably wouldn't even be good, but you know some idiots would try it even if it wasn't because "more ult charge good".

    Suggestion: add a way to see your win percentage on all the various maps. Not only would it simply be a cool feature but it would also allow you to see what maps you tend to do poorly on and inform you that you should try switching up your approach on those maps.
    Would be really cool if they could tailor this to each hero but that would prob be a lot more work

    mode suggestion: role lock mystery heroes, with hero eliminations. when you die as a hero, they are eliminated from selection. once all heroes are eliminated, you stay as the last hero for the rest of the match.

    Suggestion: Rework mercy's rez to a gauge-ish skill, where she can hold longer the rez for a full hp rez, but can also do it really quickly for a low hp rez

    Suggestion: Instead of giving mercy a nearly useless heal & bb buff, they need to buff her self healing gained when using cadeus staff to heal allies.
    Her movement, base healing output, and damage are fine. Its her self sustain that needs just a little help. When the dps passive came into existence, it seriously hammered her self heal because it is proportional to the healing she does.

    1:47 my take on this is that res should simply tale 50-100% longer on tanks. So they revive with full HP but it'll be harder for a mercy to pull it off, I think this keeps it rewarding and feels fair to play against.

    Suggestion: not all heroes need the same spawn timer, some take so much more investment to kill and/or are able to get back from spawn really quickly/provide so much value from simply being alive (widowmaker)

    Suggestion: Juno needs a little more to be optimal after her health nerf. Torpedoes should give herself a small heal like a weaver dash and allow to shoot during lock-on. Slightly increase range (5-10 meters?) for primary so fall off isn't as punishing.

    That Mercy rez change sounds very interesting. I agree Mercy isn’t incredibly strong rn, but it doesn’t stop rez feeling unfair sometimes, especially with the crazy techs some players can do. Either this suggestion, or making it so losing LoS to the soul should cancel it seems fair to me.

    They should add a delay between Junkrat's primary fire and concussive. (similar to how they did to genji's melee/secondary way back in the day) It's a one shot that requires minimal skill and little risk since its an ability with two charges. Make it a little less reliable.

    Suggestion: Increase Mercy's blaster projectile speed and lower the projectile size. Maybe just a flat 90m/s speed similar to Kiriko and Zen. Her 50m/s is a relic of an age where most Supports were expected to not directly contribute damage during a fight. Also having her projectile speed double in Valk unnecessarily complicates things. She cannot heal or damage boost while her blaster is out. I don't think it's a big ask.

    I've wanted to see ult charge for backfills in QP for years now. Rather than taking the charge of the hero you're replacing though, I think the backfill should just get ult charge equal to the average charge in the match at the time they join. A lot of times people rage quit after blowing their ultimate anyway.
    Similarly, I'd also appreciate it if it just booted players who hadn't even picked a hero by the time the match starts. QP gets kinda unfun when you have to play the first minute or so a member down.

    Suggestion: move more heroes to the 225 hp pool. it's crazy how hanzo got moved to 225hp but junkrat, genji, ashe, baptiste, sojourn, venture, did not get moved to that hp pool. it would also allow for some buffs in return to sojourn and genji (since they both suffer from the armor changes more than others). personally i would like 2.5 more damage on dragonblade (110 -> 112.5), slightly faster movement speed during wall climb, and just maybe slightly faster movement during dash. there was a experimental patch in ow1 that increased genji's wall climb speed and it was SO NICE.
    There are a few bugs I want fixed with genji. (i hope a dev will see these, please the genji community is suffering quite a bit from the first one)
    1. You can't turn your camera when you do a short dash and it really makes dash feel clunky and horrible.
    2. Double sheathing dragonblade, it doesn't change how long it takes to 'unchannel' the ult but it just looks bad.
    3. Fix jade/gold on genji's shurikens. On every single skin that genji has, the gold/jade sparkles only show up in 2-3 places compared to other heroes where they show up in 15+ places. it wouldn't be a problem if less sparkles show up due to the reduced amount of spots they can show up, but that's not the case and they all overlap and it looks really bad. I have been complaining about this for nearly 2 years and no one else seems to notice it.
    I will literally take any sort of buff for genji, it feels impossible to carry games (in T500) as hard as a tracer. I just can't compete with the extra range, speed, 'consistent' damage, game changing ult, and safe escape options that a tracer has. I know genji is decent right now because winton and dva are meta but it's really hard to compete and get above a 55% winrate in gm against some of the top picks this season like brig, tracer and reaper.

    Suggestion you ignored last time: Make the DPS passive a Support passive and give the DPS something else.
    Damage modifiers were always a support thing and this change will also discourage the healbot culture.

      @@Anibo02 I disagree. It promotes teamwork and makes the healers less ignorable. Clearly there will be some tweaking needed as certain supports (Zen) does massive damage with Discord Orbs.
      I don't actually think the DPS passive is BAD (actually it is, Blizzard needs to stop blanket changing, sit down and work out each hero one by 1...lazy buggers have been trying to fix all heroes at once with passives and armours instead of working things out) but doesn't it make sense as a support skill? It just really seems like a supporting ability. And I cannot name a single support that can outlive a diving Winston when it comes down to 1v1, and he is meta.

    Suggestion: The team who wins the first point in clash don't get a high enough advantage so i think it should take twice as long for the enemy team to recapture the point this would give you more time to group up with your team and attack so you don't get rolled as much and also extend the time playing the game mode as it can be very short

    Suggestion: Mercy Rework
    Mercy's primary fire now behaves like a Zen orb... ish. After a brief windup, the highlighted ally will recieve ~50 HPS for ~10 seconds, completely hands off. The staff now has an ammo count and reload (6-10 "shots")
    Damage boost behaves the same; or maybe it has a lingering effect, IDK.
    Rez still revives dead teammates, but it can now be applied to living teammates. Once a "protected" teammate reaches 25% health, they will be granted a 100 HP burst heal, and have the passive healing initiated.
    Guardian Angel brings back the old healing beam that heals for 60-65 HPS.
    Since a lot of Mercy players use the healing beam to retain LOS with allies to GA, this will incentivise using damage boost for that, since the heal beam no longer does this. Damage boost also doesn't have a reload, meaning it retains uptime.
    Rez shouldn't be a reactive ability, IMO. It should be proactive, and since it should be more useful on DPS and supports, it won't be used on tanks as much.

    Suggestion: to make Illari more interesting to play and to play against, let her charge up the pylon with her healing beam. The pylon breaks, if it's 'empty'. Of course you would need to figure out the right numbers and stuff, but I think it could be cool.

    Suggestion: Symmetra should be reworked to a support. Her beam can now both heal and damage while keeping the charge up system. She can charge up her beam on teammates now too. Her TP has more range and her ult costs less as well.

      i'd like her turrets to only slow enemeis, not damage, and heal allies. her tp heals over time when entering, and her right click orbs should be the ones that heal and damage simultaneously. her beam should stay as damage only imo. it already charges on shields and is a good damage dealer. otherwise it would be a beam like illari.

    Dva needs an over heating function on her guns. She does way too much damage to not have one. It'll make aggressive decisions more punishing.
    Or
    If she uses all of her matrix, it has a 3 sec delay of replenishing. They need to make dva be more startegic with her decisions.

    Suggestion: Buff Hanzo's damage so he can oneshot 250 HP heroes again. Add damage fall-off to minimum 100 (50 for SA, resetting on bounce) at 30+ meters. Let Hanzo players have their fun. Let him be viable. He barely exists Masters+.
    Otherwise, buff his RoF by 0.25 seconds so he can at least have a chance against 250+ HP heroes.

    Suggestion - I think dragon blade sucks right now and is way too easy to out heal and is basically useless on tanks. Maybe adding a bleed effect (like from Elden Ring) to the ult could bump it up a notch without relying on nano. Adding stacks of bleed until you do a chunk of damage (+25 bleed per swing - 100 bleed causes 100 damage) wouldn’t make him broken against regular squishes, but would make the ult more threatening and less ignorable. (Also things like cleanse would reset bleed stacks)
