Thanks for the video, I did this exact job today. The only part I had trouble with was lining up the lock mechanism on reassembly. I reviewed the video again at the right place and paused as appropriate, managed to work out the lock needed to be in position first, before positioning handle assembly into place. Had a win, much thanks.
Just a few tips: 1: Squirt some WD-40 on the plastic rod holders on both the old door handle before attempting to remove. 2: Undo the plastic rod holder clip BEFORE removing the 2 10mm bolts. 3: Spray WD-40 on the new plastic rod holder before installing the new door handle into the door.
I am guessing this could be used to replace the lock cylinder as well. At 2:17 you can see the lock yet unsure how its screwed or bolted on. This is not for me, Some one else on the LPL video 1351 was asking about it. I think he might see this comment. Just in case he does. Did you have a chance to see how the lock comes on and off? Nice video by the way. These types of videos have saved me more than a few times.

That’s good to hear thanks so much!
Much appreciated. Some SOB broke into my car, and now I'm dealing with the door handle plus the ignition switch. Thanks again.

Thank you for the awesome video! You've given me the information I need to make this a successful😊
Thanks! I was able to do this. The hardest part was getting to the window handle clip.
I am about to rip mine off😒 Everything else was soo easy
I've seen it where you use a piece of cloth to catch the two sides of the clip and then pull on the cloth to move the clip.
Samesies thank you sir!
Can you provide link to the rod clips? I broke the yellow ones while following the instructions from A1Auto.

1:58 I can't remove the metal arm. It is so stuck in there that it got bent when I was trying to remove it. Any tips? 😅
Same thing here. Did you figure out what it was?
