Invaluable info! Unpacking the language of the Bible is my greatest area of interest, as it is what pushed me over the edge when I was leaving the faith. It’s tough to find resources that dive into the myths that surrounded Judaism at its birth in a manner such as this: accessible, directly quoting the ancient scripts, and tying them to the claims of the Bible in detail. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge. Look forward to the growth of the channel and learning much more.

Also, Roman royalty wrote the bible. They included slavery as part of the concept as they benefited from their work and could continue their wealthy lifestyle. It continues to this day! The British royalty are direct descendents of the authors of the bible. Thus, the 'gods' (they were considered gods) could *rest* from *their* labour! But the 'slaves' continue working...

After watching countless videos, and reading many books on these topics, the idea of ET's or Star beings having their hand in everything makes sense to me.
There is some interesting video interviews with Grand Master Templar Timothy Hogan, where he exposes many of the ancient secrets...one of them being that the bones of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, John the Baptist along with children they had are preserved in their care. Timothy states that Jesus snd John's head's are elongated. This is very intriguing, and would explain how Mary could have been a case of an obduction...also why John and Jesus had such powerful capabilities, as did the pharaohs.
I will add that at 7 years of age, I had an experience with a being of light that manifested in my bedroom...this being looked light skinned, light blue eyes, and very blonde silky hair. I was told that I am never alone. I felt safe and loved. I was told and shown a star that I am connected to. I didn't talk to anyone about this until I was an adult. I knew no one in my family would have believed it. To this day(now I am 62) the memory is crystal clear, and I absolutely feel that i am never alone.
    It was not a dream.
What is your opinion on Timothy Hogan?

As a former Catholic (now atheist), the Old Testament was never emphasized since it was considered the covenant that Jesus superseded and made irrelevant (except, of course, for the parts that were conveniently considered a prophecy of Jesus as the Messiah). In Orphic belief, this myth describes humanity as having a dual nature: body (Ancient Greek: σῶμα, romanized: sôma), inherited from the Titans, and a divine spark or soul (Ancient Greek: ψυχή, romanized: psukhḗ), inherited from Dionysus." ~ Wikipedia/Orphism

Like the Dewey Decimal System to order books on shelves in the library, Moses was the Teacher, orally speaking on a daily basis , during the Exodus a teaching method of sermons for each day, while the people trekked through the desert, six days, every evening , standing on a rock , often in the Moonlight, Moses using Aaron to amplify his voice put his lessons into this system of daily segments which repeated weekly and devoted each unique day of a week to a unique subject pertaining to explaining how God created the world. So the observing of time was by Moses, not originally God but God was with Moses in this new order of a new world that was being made, with a daily lesson plan, to teach and set to order the lessons to a method of recording the sessions. So every first day Moses would teach about the Beginning and the Light. On each second day Moses spoke about elements of materialism , waters etc. So each day became correlated to a subject, just like you use the Dewey Decimal System to quickly find a book on a subject or topic, which a number system filed the books so you can find them on the shelves. So when God made the World in Six Days, it was in context of Moses directed by God, in the Exodus to teach subjects about Creation , and the New World Order being made, assigned to a system to keep the teaching system orderly. Every sixth day, Moses taught about human history right up to the point of the current moment of the Exodus itself, and then the Seventh Day, the entire camp rested, and Moses did not teach a sermon on the mount but blessed the day of rest. This was repeated for forty years during the Exodus, but readers of the Bible do not catch on readily , but if you read the Creation Account in the Book of Job, and fail to find a Seven Day Lesson Plan, then you see that when God created the world, there was no such observance of time at all, but it took that time to TEACH about Creation , and that is how God made or explained the World in Creation in Six Days, the time was consumed by Moses and the Israelites in the Exodus, who had this system of Oral Teaching , day by day. When God was alone in creating the world, God was not needing a Day of Rest. God imposed a Day of Rest for the TEACHING about Creation and the Law, Time was imposed for the benefit of the People, who did not observe time the way God sees the matter.

Adam : "I have seen that when I peel back the surface of a leaf, I can see tiny cells in it, and I would like to discuss this, and many other aspects of nature with her. And when I look at the night sky, I would like to talk to her about the white band of light across the sky, and the reason why it is there. I would like to discuss where the rain comes from, and why a rainbow forms if the sun is low"
God : "I see the kind of partner you want - but it won't be easy. It'll cost you an arm and a leg"
Adam : "Ah! ..... what can I get ... for .... like half a rib?"
Don't be offended, Ladies - there's also a version of that story from the other side of the gender divide.

I can totally embrace our creation through a genetic process and have felt this way for a long time. Evolution simply does not ring true. So, man being created after the other animals makes sense to me. All of this said, with all the conflict known before and after with other gods, I can also easily embrace an option of Love and Justice being laid out as an option. The best way to piss anyone off in life as we know it, is to show love in the face of adversity. It's a powerful strategy.

notthe etc: "Evolution simply does not ring true." - This is potentially an argument from personal incredulity. The fact that it does not "ring true" to you, does not alter the fact that it is as solid a piece of science as we possess. Remember, all reputable experts in the field, most well-informed lay(wo)men and, indeed, the vast majority of theists have no difficulty accepting biological evolution. What this suggests is that you should take some time to study evolution. I found Richard Dawkins' books extremely helpful as a starting point. Here on Yt you could look at the channels of Creation Myths, Gutsick Gibbon, Jackson Wheat, PZ Myers, AronRa ...

Sure there are a bazillion Mesopotamian elements there, but not clay molding. I think "formed" should be understood more "vague/abstract" than specific molding.
"DUST" is just a metaphor that references the EXPERIENTIAL reality of CORPSES being BURIED in the GROUND. Perhaps "made of dust" need not be taken more literally than "heart of gold/stone"

10:40 isn't it more accurate to say "side" rather than rib? If so, is there a translation that could have been used here that says that?
Also, does it specifically say in the text that woman exists solely because man wanted a companion? This "helpmeet" idea seems hugely misogynistic and it would have been good to clarify whether this interpretation is in the text, if it is traditional, or if it is the interpretation you favour yourself, before continuing on to the parallels in older works.

    • @Biblemonger

The word can mean rib or side in Hebrew and cognate languages so I don't see why we would take issue with it in the phrase "one of his x."
The text doesn't say that the man wanted a companion, but that God says "it is not good for man to be alone so I will make him a companion/helper." But regardless, yes, the bible is hugely misogynistic.

@@czipcok1994 let me educate u, it seems u r not smart enough to understand what im telling you, that's y u will only read the bible with your mind and not by the inspiration of the Spirit. When God said "it is not good for man to live alone, let us make a help meet for him (Gen 2:18), why didn't God form a woman for the man? God rather formed animals and brought to the man to help man not a woman.. (Gen 2:19) why? Because that was God's perfect will for man, But after Adam named all the animals and possibly spent sometime with them, the writer says "but unto Adam was not found a help meet for him" why? Because Adam didn't see the animals as complete help meet, He desired more than that.. so God knowing what man desired, formed a woman out of him. So when Adam finally saw the being in front of him, he was happy and said "this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh" why did he say that? Because at last what he wanted he's gotten it. A being like himself.. that's God's permissive will for him.. so Adam desired for something else other than the animals with him, hence desired for it and God being loving and merciful, looked upon the heart of man and allowed His permissive will to be done.I don't know what u r but the bible is written this way so we can search and allow the Holy Spirit to teach us all truths.

@@manugruni5074 Let me educate you on reading comprehension. First god creates man, THEN decides that he needs a companion, and only later that decision creates woman. God clearly first wants to make a companion for man and only later creates a woman for him all his other creation get rejected.
"The man gave names to all the tame animals, to all the birds in the air, and to all the wild animals. He saw many animals and birds, but he could not find a companion that was right for him. 21 So the Lord God caused the man to sleep very deeply. While he was asleep, God took one of the ribs from the man’s body. Then he closed the man’s skin where the rib had been."
In what part does it say that man wanted a woman? Of course it's addifferent story if YOU know that in his heart he wanted a woman. Then I guess be better call you god cause you know that happened at creation.

The knowledge of creation or the great flood is written in many cultures and is narrated to reflect their own tradition and culture..every generation like us has asked the same question, where did we come from and hence they created a story to answer this mystery to fit their culture connecting their own God and goddesses .. it only proves that man like the broken telephone message carried different conclusion and stores evolved generation after generation...

2 of the greatest enemies to the Truth are false believers and the deconverted. one attempts to pervert the purity of the Truth of the Source of all love and make true life dead. the other has come and seen and tasted the Truth and felt and experienced His love and turned away because they couldn't reciprocate the smallest amount of love for their Creator and instead enveloped theirselves in lies because they were unwilling to stay and fight for Him and instead they were lovers of their self and are concurrently against their very being in the deepest way.
how ignorant can you be and still be a believer? from the beginning false believers have perverted the Truth in attempt to manipulate it and believers. GOD uses what was intended for evil for good and they merely gathered what was already existent, if anything. evil takes every form against the Truth and false believers have been contrary since inception. they suppressed the Truth and persecuted believers and made a false structure to attempt to control what is free for every individual. they have manifested perverse works and have attempted to debase our very Truth (if that was even possible). from its origin they saw opportunity and it had the heart of antichrist. many catholics have no idea what relation with Jesus is because it is a false and dead system that only serves as a detriment to the Truth and stifling barrier that diminishes any sensitivity to the living thing that He intends for us. they have suppressed the Truth from the beginning but God gave us the Word to discern falsehood as this
the next is the person that has come to the Truth and turned away. we all have sufficiency to perceive what things are and we have sensitivity to recognize that the Truth is real. we have things that will test our faith as this realm is contrary to Him but everything is answerable as the Truth immersed in reality doesn't cease to be at any point. these betrayers have turned with a seared conscience. they have taken up what have you to separate their selves from the reality of Him because they never really wanted Him. they didn't turn to something valid because there is one Truth, they just abandoned their very Salvation and Source because they didn't contain love for their very Creator. they turn from all hope and reject their Truth. they take solace in number of days and in their fabricated reality. then their are the subhumans who reject their true life that is their Salvation and key to their Everlasting and thus are left with literal no hope and then they seek this for another. they abandon the Source of all love, beauty, good, life and light and reject all possible hope and in their destruction they seek this reality for another. God gave them every good qualitative thing that motivates them to keep moving and breathed their very life and didn't withhold His own Son and they received Him only to reject Him. they are against their very existence in the deepest manner and their life is only an illusion. they have turned against their very existence and want to apportion this destruction for another. truly, we are without excuse and there is no basis for rejection. no matter how much one has their self fooled they are not without witting displacement. they know exactly why they are where they are and they have no righteous basis for being contrary to Everything. what's hidden is that we all perceive what things are. we don't have to take our hearts out and integrate them to perceive the underlying overarching actuality of the purpose of us. we are realized and then we realize ourselves. God gives us a blank canvas and then we move and relative to the Truth and actualize who we are. this is merely a medium. the Truth has happened and it was moved to be produced in its form to serve as total sufficiency as it couples with our hearts that recognize it. we didn't transcend our Source and become minds. our Source is sentient and this place is logically incomplete. where is our answer? the Truth has happened and it is recorded and we have sensitivity to perceive its reality with exposure (and then it's modifying). Jesus is written on the world and moreso and brothers and sisters all over the world are willing to die for Him because they know that He's real and that's not removed from any. all the non truths don't invalidate the one Truth and the Truth is the only thing that answers this place. there is an intended Way and it happened as it had to and faith serves as vehicle for honest choice of God. we all understand very base reality-that we are created and that Jesus is real but many aren't willing to come to terms with it. many aren't willing to come to God on God's perfect terms. there are two scenarios-choice or rejection and there is no valid contrary position to our very Creator. those that abandon Him invariably don't contain love for Him that gave all because everything is answerable and indeed they have sufficient sensitivity to things. they felt His love and understood the reality of things but in their turning, they made their decision to turn away from Him who gave all for what He gave. they want to have everything that He gave and be left alone. there is nothing to be found in the convolution. there will never be anything produced or provided as you cannot create foreign substance from something unless it has inbuilt capacity. there is one manner of transcendence but these liars operate in what is guaranteed to pass. they by definition have no hope as they have rejected their very Truth and then what reason to they have for influencing for such? to deny another's relation with their very Creator and their Salvation? or rather is it because they in hate, want to oppose the Source of all love (by definition as love isn't an emergent property of reality)?
these two are the most potent enemies of our very Truth to this existence because they have come to the purest love only to betray it. i wouldn't call one that adheres to a non truth an enemy because they just merely haven't come yet. i am strongly staked against these though because they have drawn near to the Source of all love and life to only betray it. they are not only for their own destruction in the deepest possible way but they are that for others. they are for hell
