One of my fav bands. The quality of this vid doesnt rly do them justice tho. Graspop is a big metal festival in my country, Belgium. Theyre one of the bands i will never miss when they come by, its always a damn good party! The name is pronounced 'El--vay-tee'. Their songs are mostly about celtic history and mythology and a lot of them are in acient Gaulish language. They have a couple albums which are non metal, mostly focusing on the folk aspect. Other songs i would recommend: A rose for Epona, The Call of the Mountains, Ategnatos, etc.
If you would like to go more down the folk route there are many other bands i would recommend, Skáld is a big one (check out their song 'Rún'), Wardruna, Faun, Heilung etc. Many of these folkbands funnily enough play huge metal festivals, eventho they are not metal. Theyre very appreciated by metal fans :)
Eluveitie is a folk metal band from Switzerland. They are 9 piece band. They gave two guitar players. Bass. Drums the male singer also the founder plays wind instruments, mandola, gaita(looks like bag pipes), acoustic guitar, bodhran, harp and sitar. The female singer plays the Celtic harp. The other two women one plays the hurdy-gurdy and the other plays the violin. There's also a bagpipe player. Hope this helps they are a very eclectic band to say the least.
