Definitely! I got to see them back in March (sadly without Chrigel but Adrienne from Seven Spires and Jukka from Omnium Gatherum filled in very nicely) and it was an absolute blast!
The "official" band instrument lineup includes (among others) violin, harp/celtic harp, tin whistles, bagpipes (not sure specifically which style), and mandola, which is the older sibling to the mandolin

You'll have to check out Cellar Darlings at some point. The trio was originally part of Eluveitie and Anna Murphy (vocalist) was the first one I heard.

Violins and fiddles are the same instrument. It's all about style, though I have heard that some who play fiddle style with lots of double stops and fast string changes will have a flatter bridge to assist with that. But ultimately they are the same thing.
