Mongolian throat singing. The 2 string being played with a bow is a Morin Khuur, a.k.a. the horsehead fiddle. The 3 string being played like a guitar is a Tovshuur. The mouth harp is a Tumur Hhuur.
They just did 3 more songs for the new game, Jedi Survivor. They are now the only band to have an official alias in Star Wars: The Agasar! Great reaction!
The song is in the game twice. First time is in the first level art the ship breaking yard. When you are climbing through the ships. But it is only the first half of the song on a loop and cal kestis is listening to the song on headphones. The second time is in the arena fighting against the brood. The "band" is playing live for the coliseum
Instrument is called horse headed fiddle dated back to even before Chingis khaan king of Mongolia which is around 12t century. Also they r doing 4-5 diff dype of throat singing in this video as far as my knowledge goes.
Good video guys. The Hu is an awesome band. I love when people from different cultures around the world combine their native instruments with modern western instruments.
What a cool song! Glad this was suggested. It was a nice break watching this after looking at hotel Suites for a vacation, I just needed this break for some mental Clarity
You are absolutely right about the great hair. And the testosterone. I don't play the Star Wars games but I own all the tunes. And all their other stuff. As far as I'm concerned, The HU is the best thing to come along since the Beatles. And I remember Beatlemania.
Its funny how he brings up Alaskan throat singing, I did my 23 and me and it came back 93% Native American and I am from Mongolia lol. The saying in Mongolia is that lost hunters ended up in North America, Alaska, long time ago and settled
"Tulvan throat singing" One vocalist to another, roll the tongue back, go open/high mouth, then go back and forth between you and we. You'll find it. I'm still trying to get more control and consistency, but I found it. I know you can.
YES 🙌🏽 they’re MONGOLIAN and it’s cultural just like the INUIT indigenous natives from ALASKA. The HU BAND is AMAZING and their song on CCHENGIS KHANN is EPIC. Review more of their 🎼. If you want a low contralto tone…please review a young female singer from RUSSIA. She performs the cover “SWEET DREAMS” on the MASKED SINGER and the clips are available by fans “KOR” or “KWTSAS”. You will love her. One of the VOCAL COACHES stated she would love to see her collab with the HU BAND.
