It was great seeing the old gang back together again. Bird Person continues to be the best. Squanch out here with his Tom Kenny Spongebob voice. adult swim did a great job recasting. but at least roilands production company is still working on the show lol

You might have to go check your ears if you don't notice the difference but the voices are good enough to still enjoy the show. Rick is the most noticeable to me but i am relieved the show is not over even tho is gonna be a little less funny without Roiland. Very good job from new voice actors and AS to not go in a Solar Opposites direction

Not gonna lie, the end credit clip for this episode is one of my favorites that they’ve ever done for this show. I love how stupid it is 😂
Honestly I really don’t mind them! There’s a couple small things that stood out but like I straight up forgot Mr Poopybutthole was also voiced by Justin. Like it’s not that big a deal, and I liked how chill this episode was, like business as usual instead of making a big thing out of it
I love it when there's just four of y'all, I just feel like it's the optimum number what are my attention doesn't get spread out too many different directions and I'm able to appreciate everybody's input
I always gain a tremendous amount of respect for actors who are the actual voices of their character cameos in shows like this. It's good business (exposure, money, and the respect gained) AND it shows the actor/actress can take being made fun of, and actively participates in it. I would consider it a great honor to be approached with something like this if I was a celebrity.
As a fellow Australian, I wasn't surprised Jackman participated - we're known for our ability to take the piss out of ourselves and his interactions with Ryan Reynolds kinda prove it, he's worked with animation before in Koala Man, and tbh, the dude is just a legend :)

I really dont understand why people in the internet hate this episode. I know it's not the best one out of the show, but I really had fun with this episode. By the end of it, I totally forgot about the new voices.
Out of the new episodes out so far this is definitely the weakest of the lot
because the rick and morty fandom is insufferable. you enjoy the show a lot more the more you stay away from them

See they didn’t even notice that Mr Poopybutthole is also a new VA, I don’t understand why people complain about the changes just enjoy the show for what it is

Morty sounds like the original; however, Rick voice sounds like he’s sober lol. I’m guessing the “Mr.” characters were all voiced by Justin.

The voices are good so far. No one can beat what family guy did with hiring Azerrz, who had been doing Cleveland impressions for almost a decade at that point, but whoever hired these impressionists did a good job.

I don't think any other animated TV series makes you wanna see the voice cast at the end credits more than "Rick & Morty" does.
I think the new voices are great. My friends didn't even watch this season solely because of the new voices. They immediately dropped the whole show because they judged the new VA's right away.

I noticed the new voices instantly. They're fine, but my criticism would be they're too smooth. Roiland was much more gravelly with Rick and whiny with Morty; it had more personality and range.

They did great but Morty has the most noticeable changes. Rick is straigt crazy how close they got, both to be honest. We wont even notice the tiny stuff eventually

The only thing the new guy is lacking in is the phycotic scream, it was pretty lackluster in the trailer, but other than that it's gud 😅

I think Morty's spot on. Rick's a little too "clean" for my taste, the voice feels less lived in...if that makes any sense.
Bird Person is me in that situation. The lets just go and do it.
The voices are pretty good but just different enough to take me out of it I'm not sure why. Rick sounds like he's sober or something. His talking voice is pretty good but his loud or yelling voice isn't as comfortable. In my opinion.

Didn’t mind the new voices, the writing wasn’t good though in this episode. It felt like they relied too much on the characters talking and explaining the joke that it ruined a lot of punchlines. Letting the characters do things and letting lines breathe felt like it was missing.

honestly, the new voices kinda suck, Rick the most, sounds like hes just incapable of holding the raspyness of his voice, Morty is slightly better but the voice is just barely too deep.
That said though, it doesn't really matter, the stories are what's fun, this episode was meh for me but now with Ep 2, im looking forward to the season.

According to the writing staff at "Rick & Morty," the last several seasons, they only time they ever saw or heard from Roiland was when he came to record the voices, so the comedic side of the show is not going to be affected by him being gone.

If you take this episode and put it to the standards of other Rick and Morty Season opening episodes it's super mid, almost bad for an e1. But if you use this to introduce the new VA's it's actually pretty good
Justin Roiland hasn't been in the writing room since season two.
And while that is my favorite season, there have been plenty of great episodes since then.

Cant even lie…I was one of the people who was completely done with Rick and Morty after they fired Justin. But….the new voices are *damn* spot on. I actually forgot they recasted him early in the episode.
