RUclips just recommended your video to me. But what you said saddened me. Sorry I’m going to be a little harsh but don’t think for even a second that I’m doing this with malice. But take it as if your closest friend saw you straying from the path that you drew. I think you’re trying to escape the fact that everywhere you look you find a gifted writer, and you feel this force of dread looming over you. So, you decided to break the chains so you could feel free from this pressure. But you won’t escape, the ‘business and marketing’ stuff will soon show you the same ugly face that being an author showed you. I think you lost motivation because you don’t have a strong message you want to tell the world. Stories without any message are dull…but this is strange for me, you’re a Christian, didn’t jesus say spread the good news. I’m not Christian by the way. But you need to look inside for a while. Rediscover who you really are. Find the strength in the belief you hold inside. And good luck! 😊
Thank you for commenting! To be honest, in many ways you're right. Writing & authorship did put a lot of pressure on me that I felt like I couldn't live up to and I didn't have a message worth sharing. So I went on a journey to find a message, and now I'm sharing it. It's a message of hope (and the good news of the gospel:)). I guess I'm just going about it in a different way and taking the focus off of me and my writing and putting it on the message I want to share. I hope one day to write a book again! I'm definitely not giving it up for good in anyway😊
