Now a days ,ex.5v,2A ---12v 1A is written on fast mobile charger. If zener diode is fixed on feedback section then how charger can deliver multiple voltage? It should emit 5v or 12v ? Please explain
A photo coupler is fitted in the feedback region. The photo coupler works at 1 volt. In the photo coupler, a resistance has to be fitted in series with the zener diode in the output voltage. As soon as the zener voltage exceeds the zener voltage, the photo coupler turns on. It gives a signal to the PWM IC that the voltage is high.
