      This is a boost converter in which a transformer is installed in place of the inductor and the gate driving IC is TLP 350. It works on 15 volt DC minimum. Instead of this, TLP 250 can be installed. IGBT has been used for switching.

      ATx SMPS mein vcc dual power supply hoti hai Aek 5 volt ki hoti hai dusri lagbhag 12 se 24 volt Tak ho sakti hai yah donon Sahi honi chahiye SMPS mein fan bhi kharab ho sakta hai Donon supply agar theek hai SMPS mein power section mein kharabi ho sakti hai Jaise transistor kharab hona diode kharab ho sakti hai ya FIR pwm IC kharab ho sakte hain thanks

    Sir plz check this MC33262 ic datasheet and tell me ...... Gap: 0.104 " meaning what.....?? Plz check the information on datasheet below Fig :21 There is a word gap=0.104" total for LP 870uh.....What is the meaning of 0.104 "...?? Is that meaning air gap btw EE core is 2.54mm....... Overall as per specification under fig 21...... If I am using EE4215 transformer and and wind 78 turns on primary and 6turns on secondary, and make an air gap of 2.5mm btw two EE core middle leg, then the primary inductance should be 870uh...... Am I right sir.....?? Waiting for ur answer....??

      In the circuit diagram, there is a 100k resistance on pin number 8 of mc33262, it works for starting. Pin number 8 is the vcc supply pin, it should not exceed 36 volts otherwise this mc33262 may get damaged. You have installed 78 turns on the primary winding. You have installed 8 turns in the secondary winding, this 8 turns is wrong. For example, vcc maximum voltage is 36. You keep your vcc voltage minimum to 24. AC input maximum voltage 268. 268×1.41=380vdc. Primary winding turns 78× vcc 24v ÷380vdc =4.92 turns. By this example, you can install 5 turns in the secondary winding. You can calculate the secondary turns by this formula according to the input voltage. Thanks

      @totalcircuit Thank you sir..... Actually you made a video about 12v 10amp smps on this EE4215 transformer....with a 1mm gap between the middle leg of two EE core.... So, if I want to make this pfc on the same core, then how much gap should I need....? Actually on datasheet page under Fig 21 there is a chart....and under this chart it is mentioned that no of primary and secondary turns with gap ..... There is written that Gap is 0.104" total for primary inductance is 870uh.... But 0.104" means 2.55mm gap which is too big ...I think there is something wrong in my understanding...?? Thank you.

    Now a days ,ex.5v,2A ---12v 1A is written on fast mobile charger. If zener diode is fixed on feedback section then how charger can deliver multiple voltage? It should emit 5v or 12v ? Please explain

      A photo coupler is fitted in the feedback region. The photo coupler works at 1 volt. In the photo coupler, a resistance has to be fitted in series with the zener diode in the output voltage. As soon as the zener voltage exceeds the zener voltage, the photo coupler turns on. It gives a signal to the PWM IC that the voltage is high. The PWM IC works on its duty cycle and keeps the output voltage stable. Thanks for watching. Have a nice day

    Very useful....Thanks.... Actually I want to make a pfc correction bu using MC33262 pfc ic.... On datasheet page,there is already readymade model available..but not very clear to me....plz help me.. On MC33262 ic datasheet page it is mentioned that...(for using same core EE4215- 175 watt. Universal ac input (90 to 265v). And output is 400v dc ...mentioned the following details..... 1)primary winding : 78 turns 2)secondary winding : 6 turns 3)Gap: 0.104" for a total primary inductance (Lp) of 870uh............what is the meaning of this line.....and what is 870uh(Lp).........?? It is very helpful for me if u serch on this MC33262 ic datasheet.....then it will be very clear...?? Thanks...😊

      Mc33262 is a boost converter pwm ic, it gives very good ac line power factor and its efficiency is also very good which is about 98%, you will see in its datasheet, Figure 19 is the circuit diagram, in this the primary winding works for boosting, the secondary winding works to give vcc supply to the IC. You have asked what is 870uh This is micro henry This is a unit of measuring inductor

      @totalcircuit Thank you... Gap: 0.104 " meaning what.....?? Plz check the information on datasheet below Fig :21 There is a word gap=0.104" total for LP 870uh.....What is the meaning of 0.104 inch...?? Is that meaning air gap btw EE core is 2.54mm.......
