Let's not forget that there is still a Dean Winchester down there protecting the earth Edit: Thank you for the likes. What I was talking about is Sam's Son little Dean. While although Sam may have not introduced him to the life, him being a Winchester make him a target for monsters looking to make a name or revenge. As Dean always said "No one chooses the life, the life chooses you."
The thing that always stuck out to me about Dean is that he was always the self sacrifice person who welcomed death. I love how the ending stayed true to the characters
Yeah same here, and I'm curious how Sam raised his son Dean. Did he do a John and introduce him to the life of hunting? Or a Mary and want to move away from it? Maybe he did a bit of both, but it would've been nice to elaborate on that a bit
@@george5954 exactly there are too many questions, the moment I saw the kid I was like wait a minute, and said it again and again as they kept going,, but by the time Sam got old yea just had to go with it. @@lithium23 The fact that there needed to be hunters after Jack is just stupid as hell. God killed everyone and then Jack could've just not brought the monsters back but for some random reason, still did, including the one that killed Dean.
@@sws212 Think of it like this. Life needs demons/monsters as an "order". Reality is, there are monsters(in the show) as a natural order to things. That's just me though.
@@AsusanXT the boys always condemned people because they did things against the natural order. always killed 'monsters' because they where against the natural order. but they where part of the natural order in sam and deans world. so that makes all their killings hypocritical. the creatures had every right to eat, populate and thrive as humans. the show said 'the monsters you have to be most afraid if are those that kill in the name of good,' referring to the boys. sam and dean are the real bad guys. if they cared about saving lives they wouldnt leave because the case didn't involve and jews or gays. it just shows that want to spend their time killing jews and gays. ''god didnt fix it'' is because people will always find a way to dehumanize and kill groups of each other.
“Dad...? It’s okay. Rest easy, daddy...you’ve definitely earned it. I love you and miss you tremendously.
All I can imagine is Sam's kid being like, "Dad cool car! Did you do a lot in it?" Or something like that and Sam saying, "Uncle Dean and I had been through Heaven and Hell in this car." Little does that kid know...

Exactly. Honestly I love this. Also, as someone rightly pointed out that had both of them been alive they would never have left hunting and gotten peace /family. So, in my mind it is the perfect ending. 😭

@@ShadowLegend300 how is it weird? If old man Sam lingered in pain because he wanted to make sure his family would be okay, I think any son would want their dad to be at peace. It’s not weird.
@@ShadowLegend300 No it’s the right thing to do. He was old, dying, and in a lot of pain. As a parent you always want to be there for your kid. Dean was the parental figure in Sams life for so long so when Dean begged Sam to tell him it’s okay it was because he needed to hear it because it would hurt a lot more and he would be forever guilty for leaving Sam alone. Dean needed reassurance. The same way Sam needed reassurance from his son. They were gonna go either way. But they needed to hear that to make peace with it.
It's always been the theme of the show, and damnit, they nailed this ending. This is the best ending that they could have done. Closure, no coming back, finally, peace.
Oh, I think there will, but maybe not with Sam and Dean. Roll back and watch Sam's death bed scene. His son has the tattoo. He knows the stories and the family business. There WILL be more someday, just maybe not with Sam and Dean.
*SURPRISE ITS 2036 AND WE ARE BRINGING YOU SEASON 16 WITH THE NEXT GENERATION OF HUNTERS because we dont know how to let a series die* But in all seriousness, I got into this show dummy late like..when season 13 was in progress. I binged ALL of it to get caught up and to the end. Not easy to get me in the feels but ngl, this shi* got me.
3:59 I love it when Dean and Sam are in Heaven, they're wearing the same clothes they wore in the Pilot episode. Nice touch to details. Also Bobby and Dean were drinking outside of the Harvelle Roadhouse. Not to mention the license plates on Baby in Heaven is the original license plate from the first 5 seasons.
@@GlRTHBR00KS Dean often spoke of being tired, the never-ending loop of repeated cycles. Even though he knew hunting was in his blood, he wanted some peace which is why he liked the wood nymph so much. At one point, He even imagined having a family of his own which is why he was so disappointed that Ben wasn't his. The boys gave up so much for others and died countless times for them, they deserve to pass the torch and retire. Though knowing the Winchesters, their retirement involves dying because they can't stop hunting things, saving the world. The heaven he depised isn't the heaven he and the others are in.
@@GlRTHBR00KS The Heaven that Pamela was in was barely there, remember the angels were struggling to sustain it. As for it being a different Heaven, Bobby stated it was different that Castiel and Jack knocked down some walls and changed a few things. I think if grumpy Bobby was happy and content so are we. Dean wasn't unhappy if you see the end, he was happy and smiling. You can see it otherwise but honestly it was the ending a lot of folks were at peace with. The dorky masks and cheesy effects harken back to the beginning of the series. It was campy and cheesy and like a campfire horror story. We can disagree but it was an ending worthy of praise compared to GOT or dozens of others.
@@GlRTHBR00KS Since they killed him...what other option was there really for Dean? And then for Sam...the heaven Jack created seems like a pretty nice place. Where else could he go...or what othet kind of peace could they have after death? They all get to be together. That heaven seems like a best place they can ever get after death.I feel you, you probably don't like that Dean died, believe me, me too. I wished that Dean survived and maybe even had a family of his own...or at least saw Sam having a family. But since the writers decided that both of them died...the heaven I saw in the end was a great place for them.
Rest In Peace Winchester brothers, you saved lives, killed monsters, got your rock on, and lived. Who knows, maybe we’ll get a next generation of supernatural some day
Another reason why the ending is great : Throughout the show, from season 1, Dean says he has only 2 people in his life that he loves and that he couldn't bare the thought of burying Sam. So at the end, I'm glad that Dean did not have to see Sam die for the final final time and that he eventually loved and found family in more people.
I’m a dude and I cried bro 15 years is a long time and these two have helped me enjoy something so much so this finally got me to tear up im gonna miss the show
It’s so hard to accept that the show is over after 15 long years. I loved this show and grew up with it. One of the first shows I ever got into. Thought it was the coolest thing seeing these guys go hunting after supernatural threats. I really can’t believe it’s over.
Amazing im glad it ended with Dean and Sam together as it should be , I've cried buckets with this one still can't believe its over 😢 😔 but its comforting to know I can rewatch from the beginning , thank you guys you will be missed ❤
True. Now I can re-watch the show lol. I was scared the ending would ruin it thinking it might end badly. Never expected the show to give them their happy ending
Im not ok after watching this... Ive never been so emotionally attached to characters i hated watching dean die but honestly i think the ending fits as heart breaking as it is
I love that they didnt get a different aged actor like they did with younger Sam, they just spray dyed Jareds hair and drew on some wrinkle lines and were like "yeah, good enough"
i feel like this ending was the most fitting. dean never really fit into the domestic lifestyle and he had told sam millions of times that he was tired. it was fitting for him to go when he did. sam however dreamed of having that ideal life, albeit with jess, and he got it. when he finally passed, he had gone the way he wanted: old and next to family.
Dean also lived about 40 years in hell. Heaven was the best place for him to be at peace. Had he kept living, he would have kept hunting and Sam would have stayed with hunting too and never settled down. Death was a release for Dean
True. But it would've been nice if Dean had someone else waiting for him in Heaven. Yes, I know his car is a 'person' of sorts. But y'know what I mean.
@@Selvarin I think thats why Bobby was there 😭 I wanted him and Sam to be together for ever. Not like that. That break where Sam lived a normal life didn't sit well with me 😭 So hurt!!

And I cried and cried. Im somewhat shocked at how emotional I feel over this. I wish it had ended with Dean getting a normal life. It kills me that Sammy lived his life without his brother... just doesn't seem right that he was left alone. Brutal ending
How many of us noticed the tattoo Sam's son had on his arm at Sam's death bed scene. This may be the end for Sam and Dean, but Supernatural is not over, there WILL be more at some point....
They already did try to do a spinoff that failed before the pilot aired. I can see them trying something again though. Doubt it would involve Sams son though but idk maybe, it would have to take place like 30 years in the future if so.
Agreed. Dean never saw himself settling down, not really, he tried but it was never for him. For Sam though, he definitely wanted something more.. normal.
I'm sorry the ending Dean wanted was to die?? He doesn't need to settle down to continue living you know. He can travel, study, teach, surf for all I care but he deserves to heal and move on with life. Edit: I was giving random examples of things dean could do IF he wanted to move on from hunting. Sure dean loves hunting and always said he would die doing, if so he should've been given the opportunity to continue hunting till he's old and grey, it's what he and we deserve.
this was what Dean had always wanted for Sam to have a long happy life. Finally at peace and together it's always been about Sam Dean. Thank you for 15 amazing years.
Ah man, that was emotional. This show came out when I was just 18. Watched every episode and honestly it couldn't have ended any better. I will miss you boys. "There'll be peace when you are done"
"Hey Sammy" Finally they're reunited again. That's what they deserve. They belong to each other. It was a quite bittersweet ending of a long yet beautiful journey. ♥️
While my heart breaks for these two and the fact that Dean didn't get a chance to see Sam become a father, to become an uncle himself, I think it was a good ending that did justice to them. They can finally rest in peace and that's worth it even if we're in pain. SPN Family forever!
@@amberxv4777 he might in the future, but that's not nearly as important as the brothers. That's why they didn't show it and I am glad they didn't, because this way the ending was all about the brothers, just like it should be.

i did but it was actually Sam's he wanted dean to be able to be on time more since he never care for time cause lets face it in death all the time we had will be the end for us.
I am at peace now. All i wanted for them was to be together in the end. So glad they got their perfect ending. It would hv been cherry on the cake if Cas and Jack were also there but as it all started with brothers so it was perfect to end it with brothers. ♥️
Wayward Winchester...thank you for all the SPN content you have shared on this channel. You have really shone a light on how well loved this show is and given us a place to gather and feel part of the SPN family.
When Sam died as an old man and reunited with Dean in Heaven, I cried like a baby. I've watched this show since the very beginning and I love myself some Sam & Dean Winchester. Now that I am 65 years old and the Angel of Death will soon be coming for me is somewhat terrifying. Sam's death brought back memories when my mother died right before my eyes Christmas Eve 2013 as we were talking. The 'Supernatural' series brought Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki to be very close like brothers in real life. They both are natives of Texas ( Dallas, Texas & San Antonio, Texas) and now they and their families live in Austin, Texas. I will truly miss them in my home for 1 hour each week. Sometimes when I watch other horror movies about Vampires, Ghosts, Demons, and Witches, I say to myself with laughter, what would Sam & Dean do? 😁😀🤪
Supernatural (First episode date: September 13, 2005 - Final episode date: November 19, 2020) It's been a greatest ride and awesome show. Thank You So Much!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
When Sam’s son said ‘it’s ok, you can go now’ and put his hand over Sam’s when he was dying- it’s such a beautiful parallel to how Sam put his hand over Dean’s and said ‘it’s ok, you can go now’ when he was dying. I cried buckets at that part.
I’m a 6’5 dude and crying from what I just saw, 15 years of my life this show was, and now I just feel hopeless. Does that make me a baby or does anyone else feel the same way?
This scene had me crying so hard. After soo many years of hunting things, fighting, dying/coming back to life, and just being screwed around with for Chuck's amusement, Sam finally got the life he deserved. He got to have a normal family and grow old with those that he loved around him. Now he can rest in peace with Dean and no longer have to go through soo much pain. Rest in Peace but you will never be forgotten.
Yeah but... He lost everything. His mom, his dad, His brother, Cass, Jack, Rowena, Crowley, Kevin, Charlie, Bobby everyone. And Dean didn't even get to last a week before dying after just taking down God
I will never find true peace and connection to another show. The brutal struggle with both characters has helped me through alot of dark times. I hope one day I can thank each member for their part in this 🙏 ❤ yall deserve all the gratitude. Your love for the show and the fans made the best show in history imo.
@@Alpha_Hunter9 right?! Just imagine! We are expecting to see them as they appear here but instead we get the baby winchesters looking like they did around season 1! It was already confirmed that Dean still sees Sam like his (actual) kid brother so I think having them do this scene (exactly as it is in the finale) but with the younger versions of the actors would be awesome and we would all cry so much more
Everyone has mixed feelings about how dean died. The truth is, that’s not really what bothers us. For those of us who have been on this journey with Supernatural, we refuse to believe it’s the end. We fell in love with Dean, Cas, Jack, Sam and all the characters. We don’t want it to be over, and let’s hope some day we can hop back in baby and kill some more monsters. Until then let’s be thankful for one of the greatest series ever and start the journey over again to enjoy some of the great moments over again.
I never thought they could achieve closure on Supernatural after everything that has happened, but they actually managed to do it. Deserving of a standing ovation and a whole lot of tears 👏😭
When Dean death, i thought it’s gonna be a suck ending for my favorite series. But after He went to heaven until the ending scene... I couldn’t stop smiling , crying , and clap my hand at the end. Perfect ending for this series because we all reminded, there is a better place after life. FAREWELL SAM & DEAN !!! THANK YOU SUPERNATURAL !!!
It's been a great ride everybody. 15 years ago I was 8 years old and would get scared of every episode now I'm 23 years old graduated college and I'm so glad I had so many great memories watching this show. (That ending got me tho 😭😭😭😭)
What an incredible and emotional ending! It's still hard for me to believe it really ended. I literally cried when they reunited on the bridge...That's the heaven we all deserve. ❤️
It would have kind of defeated the purpose of episode 19 and everything that came before, because Chuck isn't writing their story any more. They were (are) finally free to write their own.
I been watching the show for a really long time since 2007. I have seen its golden age(3-5, 9-11)and downtimes(6-7, 12, parts of 15). And I stuck with it since I really enjoyed the chemistry with the brothers and the people they met on the road of hunting things and saving humanity. It may not have been the best ending but a bittersweet ending. I kind of expected one will die and the other will have a long life. It was a nice long fifteen-year road of these two brothers which I am proud I was part of. Thanks for entertaining us with the show and I wish for future endeavors.
I remember a fan asking them a long time ago how they thought the series should end. And both shared and Jensen said with the brothers dying. That in itself gave me chills because here we are. I cried and sobbed at the ending just like any other fan. A PERFECT ENDING
I didn’t mind this ending, it’s the rest of the season that had me scratching my head. I feel like the show had been running for so long they didn’t quite know how to do a final season. Especially since the original plan was to end the series after season five.
This one hit home. Dean reminded me of my big brother who also died young last year. One of my favorite last memories of him is him driving off in my Impala SS (Baby). I would have loved to have had the opportunity to cosplay as the Winchester brothers. I hope to get the same greeting from my brother when it’s my time.

Yeah same here, and I'm curious how Sam raised his son Dean. Did he do a John and introduce him to the life of hunting? Or a Mary and want to move away from it? Maybe he did a bit of both, but it would've been nice to elaborate on that a bit

its all we could have hoped for really.

It's been a great ride everybody. 15 years ago I was 8 years old and would get scared of every episode now I'm 23 years old graduated college and I'm so glad I had so many great memories watching this show. (That ending got me tho 😭😭😭😭)
imagine an ending where chuck finishes his book and all that was just part of his plan lol
Screw chuck hard we don’t like him
@@fishinthesea5374 maybe you
Imagine Sam's son doing some sort of cosmic deal to bring them back
This hurts so much. Grew up with this show. The ending is perfect. Sad but yet comforting to know they ended together
The way I cried so much. I couldn’t even think that’s because it was so sad 😞
I’m so happy they reunited in heaven, supernatural was always about them, and then being together again is the perfect ending for me❤️
Same!!! ❤️
What an incredible and emotional ending! It's still hard for me to believe it really ended. I literally cried when they reunited on the bridge...That's the heaven we all deserve. ❤️
I would have enjoyed seeing chuck typing and saying "the story never ends"
We'll just pretend it's there
It would have kind of defeated the purpose of episode 19 and everything that came before, because Chuck isn't writing their story any more. They were (are) finally free to write their own.
That would have been such a perfect touch
I have been with them since 2013 I have a disability and they have helped me through so much 😢😢🥺
Its ok Brian! Its ok... Dont lose your strength brother
I think if they do anything, it will be a movie every couple years, kinda like how Psych has handled their continuation.
wait what? psych had movies?
@@lazygamertew5374 yeah two of them now
@@lazygamertew5374 they already mentioned a movie
@@pedromartinez1614 sorry did net there yet lol
2 or 3 more on the way too.
Dude that shitt hit me with a ton of bricks but that was the best ending ever
I didn’t mind this ending, it’s the rest of the season that had me scratching my head. I feel like the show had been running for so long they didn’t quite know how to do a final season. Especially since the original plan was to end the series after season five.
I always said that it should have ended in season five, or season seven at the latest. It felt like they were grasping for straws after that
I enjoyed all 15 seasons, and now I can’t believe it’s over, it’s like I lost a part of me
@@YhurHurt get a life
i cried for an hour straight. this show was my life, its so hard to say goodbye.
Had me crying throughout the episode. This show has been apart of my life. And it’s hard to say goodbye to supernatural.
