@Tpain one time when I was in 11th grade and about to turn 18 (2004) my family thought it be a good idea to take me to the local casino ( Pechanga ) , so they woke me up at FOUR THIRTY IN DA MORNING , thing is my school had a rule that if you miss more than 8 days you can’t graduate well since I don’t gamble I ordered them to get back in the car and drive me back to Los Angeles so I wouldn’t miss school ( suffice it to say my family was PISSED), I don’t drank nor gamble so anything of the illicit nature was of the table
When I tell you that Pain does everything himself, I mean *everything.* From the sound effects in the music videos, to the editing, to producing his songs, writing, mixing, and so much more. He does it all himself, and I've seen him create this stuff live. One of the most talented people I know. Genuinely love this 😎

This is the style of TPain that brings me back to simpler times. It’s not that I want the “old t pain back”, I think this is the true t pain who’s in a better place mentally now and can create how he wants. So the authenticity of his craft is fully able to come out without having to conform to a certain sound or being so focused on trying to be number one. Because if you’re producing content that’s already number one, what do you have to prove. Sorta falls into real recognize real. Another example of what I’m trying to say is a wealthy person doesn’t have to sit and prove they’re wealthy to anybody.
