There's something about T-Pain's autotune that sounds just f*** amazing and unique. Wanna know why? Because he uses 100% as an effect and 0% to help is actually worldclass voice. He raps in pitch....! Legend!
i agree to him using autotune and sounding amazing doing it. He created autotune and he will be the only one that can pull it off and sound amazing - however i have heard him sing and he is extremely talented but the a lot of the would just know him for autotune. I hope he will release some more of his talent without autotune may be do some autotune tracks and some of him with his natural voice. That voice of his is absolutely amazing and he should show it off more often. Love ya T-Pain!

The inventor realized it could be used for music later on and that's how the Autotune plug-in was created. Also he wasn't the first one to use it. Check out Ronson's documentary about it. Also check out the NPR and when Jacob Collier invited him to jam on stage your jaw will drop.."!
