I feel like there’s so much sampling of 90s and 2000s r&b songs bc “artists” know it’ll instantly get people’s attention, but the songs themselves are mediocre. “The Weekend” was far from mediocre. It was the perfect bridge between 2000’s r&b to now. SZA and this producer did the damn thing!! Made a whole timeless bop!!

100% worth it dude as long as you know what you're doing, watch youtube tutorials and you'll master it I'm sure!
Mr. G that's good to hear, I'm moving from FL mobile so literally anything would be better
from years of producing i've realised that any DAW is good enough. It's about how well you master the program that really matters
I find just from experimenting that different DAWs are better at achieving certain sounds than others. Granted you can achieve any sound you want in any DAW, I find FL is good for southern hip hop & trap beats, Reason & Ableton are good for sample based beats (boom bap, lo fi, chillwave) & EDM. Logic I feel excels in R&B and other genres that use actual instrumentation.
