I made these potatoes even without rosemary and I used Italian herbs instead with some sort of garlic spices and they were DEVINE!! Perfect potatoes I loved them, so did my sister who I made them with. Tomorrow I am going to make them with Rosemary! I bet they turn out just as good! Looking forwards to it already! I LOVE your video's Laura! Thanks for all your recipies!

Laura, this was great! I added baby carrots too! The 5 minute microwave was a big tip! I let both carrots and potatoes marinade in bag for about 30 minutes! Best tasting roasted carrots and potatoes I ever tasted! NOW my kids think I have the potential to cook! LOL Thank you!

These were the best crunchy potato wedges I've ever made. We were absolutely amazed! I popped the potatoes already marinaded into the microwave, they were infused with flavor. I've been watching following Laura's recipes for over 10 years now, thank you so much for all the hard work you put into your videos over the years! It's highly appreciated!

If people have a problem with the microwave and plastic bag technique you can totally put the heated potatoes into a bowl and toss them around same effect. Also if the microwave freaks you out heat them on stove , still good! Not too long though you don't want them to get mushy. Thanks Laura!

I love the microwave trick, what it does is it makes sure that as soon as your potatoes get that color that you want you can take them out because they are already cooked by that time.
All microwave does is precook the potatoes about 25% of the way.

Beth S Yes that's true all types of cooking processes take some nutrients away from natural food. Even chilling food well do the that though not in an equal effect. I don't have scientific info on this subject but you can always look up videos on here. I'm sure you're bound to find one that specifies and explains. My guess would be a documentary would do best.

i have baked a cake on the stove top. I'm sure this method would work.
after seasoning the potatoes, give them a sear in an hot pan until its brown. (not too long or else if d garlic gets burnt, it can taste bitter)
*put potato in an tick pot or pan & cover.
you can use another bigger pan (really thick quality), put it on the stove and then put the other pot with d potato on top of the pan. :)
you can also put potato in an small pot n cover.
put another one on the stove n something inside (maybe an brick covered in foil) so when u put the smaller one inside, the bottom don't get burnt. (i bake cake this way & it was baked really good)
