Had the R3 base for 6 years now. Still as precise as new. With there stick it truly would be the dream setup for any flightsim. I use mine for all sims inc MFS, Star Citizen and Falcon Bms. Flawless every time. They deserve this credit for bringing quality to the community. All other products I’v had is One step from cheap toys.
What is one step from cheap toys? I google it it's just kids toys?
Just love my R3. Absolutely the best base I've tried for Fly-by-wire planes. It's very similar to the real thing, and moves a few millimeters to give you some feedback on how much force you put in, like in the F-16s today. It's expensive indeed, but worth it if you fly a lot.
Honestly I'm still impressed to this day with how the f16 flies with this stick specifically. I really want to try a virpil stick and compare the two
Btw the thunderbirds actually have their stick force at 40lbs+ to allow for precision.
That's pretty cool! And not really surprising given what they do, but man would that be a workout! 🤣😅
The Danish F-16's had their sticks adjusted to move a little bit.
@@twosevenleft7439 from what I have heard from f-16 pilots that is intentional in all of them. Which makes sense to have some movement
Fly by wire....stick movement is different compared to f-14 & f-15 on 16 it's like flick your wrist or flick hold

I've had my R3 for a few years now. No issues with the connector. I cant overstate how amazing it is. I cant imagine going back to a traditional wobble stick. I use it for flying old WW-II planes as well. Also space sims. I've yet to find any flight game where it doesn't excel over a traditional stick. Now if I could only afford their new lines of throttles. I'm drooling but my wallet is crying.
Just got my R3L and the F-16 stick will be here in 2 days. I can’t wait.
F-16 has been my fav since BMS and I have eyeballed RealSim for a very long time. Took me forever to decide it was worth it. Getting the WinWing F-16 throttle is what pushed me over the edge to look at FSSB’s again. Now I finally have a relatively accurate depiction of an F-16 HOTAS.
PS. Honestly, WinWing announcing they were releasing a FSSB version of their stick is what reminded me of RealSim.
How is it for ww2 planes compared to a traditional stick or even virpil/vkb? Is it responsive or is there any lag/delay?
@@airmetalmedia
If their is any delay, it’s built into the aircraft module and has nothing to do with the base.
@@DD-sw1dd I am curious how does RealSimulator stick compare to the recently released WinWing FSSB stick.
X65 also did it cheaper than the TM Warthog at the time. The fact that it was discontinued is at least partly because the X65 did not execute well. I think FFSB is cool and may be something I explore for a secondary or tertiary stick option.
I know Realsimulator from early 2010s. Back then, they didn't even have a single stick/grip. -For the ppl they don’t know RealSimulator- First they made FFB mod for the Cougar base, R1 and R2 how I know. Then the R3 base came out and was an upgrade for Cougar/Warthog stick. I doubted for a long time to buy the R3 base but it was a bit too expensive and I did not have a Cougar or Warthog stick. I ended up buying the Hotas Warthog to replace my Saitek x52 pro. For the last 3 years or so, I started thinking about it again. And yes, at the end of December I looked at your review and I couldn't stop myself! And now I am a proud owner of an R3L base and Anti-slip grip for 3 weeks. I hate myself for waiting so long! It is too expensive but really worth every penny. Thank you Hav0k, your review was the breaking point for me 😉🤷🏻♂️💪🏼
Glad I could help you finalize your decision after a long debate! I too waited longer than I should have with how amazing this stick is! It's simply one of the best there is. Enjoy your RS gear, my friend!
Indeed for home use is this just the best you can get. Thank you my friend. Same for you, enjoy your gear! ;)
I have the virpil alpha constellation with a 200mm s curve extension and the mongoose cm2 base with tension on max in center stick configuration. I love it. Don't think I'll ever swap out until virpil comes out with a force feedback system.
Nice! I definitely want one for myself for helos!
@@Hav0k I mostly fly props and the f18 so I use it for everything. And I personally think it offers better ergonomics and control/precision than sidestick because you can stiffen your arm and use your body to do micro movements on top of the extra range of motion added. I like it for everything from DCS and il-2 to mechwarrior 5 and elite dangerous.
@@JSpark135 Understandable. One of these days I'll do a comparison video after getting reaquainted with the traditional style of joystick and show the differences between a traditional center stick and a modern Force Sensing side stick.
@@Hav0k Exactly. I have the same setup like Jordan but i use a Warthog grip. Now i reconfigured my setup for the Viper in DCS and no Virpil aint the best for that kind of Stuff I have to admit. I am a Viper nerd so yes i am on the same long track of deciding weather to buy an FSSB R3 base or not. I would like to exchange the grip from one base to the other. So i can fly my beloved F-16 in a way more real way I guess. I appreciate your thoughts on the product. Can you help me out with one thing - how heavy is the grip itself since i know the TM Warthog grip I have is pretty heavy.
@@ironeaglesflight use what ever works best for you. Nothing wrong with having a different setup 😀
As far as weight I'll have to check, but I know it's lighter than the Thrustmaster sticks.
YES thank you!! I've been looking and looking and looking for a review on this product
Glad I could help! Let me know if you have more questions!
@@Hav0k my only question is, what servers do you play on? I just ordered one of these fine pieces if kit. It could be cool to have a little club of people who use that stick. I have the feeling the F-16C will handle much better with this stick.
@@therocinante3443 So, I mainly play with a group called JTF-1 which has been a super helpful group that takes training and flying seriously but also is fairly laid back in some regards. You learn procedures and how to operate your aircraft properly, but they understand that people have lives and we're all here enjoying ED's products. Myself and CaliJoshua (found here ruclips.net/user/CaliJoshua) both have the FSSB R3 and I've been mostly deferring to his thoughts on what configs might work best in certain situations.

I’m glad you got the stick too a few people just get the R3L base and use the TM warthog stick which is not meant for the force. RS products are top notch and really loving mine as I have it as a side stick for the viper and TM warthog Hotas as a center stick for the hornet and tomcat. Great video that is well deserved for the a great product.
Nice! Glad you enjoyed the video and glad to hear you're enjoying yours. I will probably be doing something similar with a virpil base and stick in the future for the Apache and jets like the tomcat. I've been enjoying the hornet and viper with this setup so far!
@@Hav0k - oh nice man okay well I’ll go ahead and subscribe to your channel then looking forward to your videos. Take Care
Also I’ve had my RS gear going on 8 months now and I mainly do BFM dogfighting and it took along time to get the gun steady because of the center sensitivity … the best thing about the program is that you can program up to 8 settings … love that the most.
Thanks for the sub! Also I agree complete! The best thing it offers is being able to create different profiles based on what you're doing at that moment so you can easily switch between them! It's been worth the investment!
great video, i had goosebumps....awesome
maybe someone mentioned it, but it is by the way the same stick layout for the A-10 Warthog, so F-16 and Warthog sharing the same stick.
Absolutely! Honestly the best stick design the military came up with (that I've seen anyway).
Thanks for watching, Viper!
Didn't even know about these and def in the market for an upgrade. Thks 👍
You're most welcome!
Actually the F-16's stick has a LITTLE bit of movement, about 1/4 inch, which was added to it after the original non-movable stick was improved based on pilot feedback. They said they wanted some movement, and they got it.
Ah I honestly did not notice at all in any of my tests. So I may have been mistaken
@@Hav0k from the f-16C it moves a little they now make an other base that moves a little
Would have been great to see you fly the F-16 with it... My biggest issue with the F-16 is that it doesnt have a setting for a full-travel stick, and I would be very interested to see how the F-16 flies differently with the pressure stick.. maybe in the next video?
Happy to do so! I will work on that video as soon as I return!

DCS F/A 18, and A-10C II pilot here.
Fellow RealSimulator owners...I also own a FSSB R3 Lightning with the F16SGRH joystick. It replaced my TM Warthog Stick. The TM Warthog Throttle was replaced with a Virpil CM50 CM3.
One thing that can be said about it is the complexity or for some, the flexibility in getting it configured for your use. I am having a tough time it getting it configured for different flight scenarios. Sure, you can change parameters easily, but do you know what you are changing or the effect that it has on the sensibilities of the unit FOR YOUR personal flight experience.
I'm hoping I can find a BASELINE from which to work from for the following flight scenarios:: Basic Flight, Air to Ground Attack, Air to Air Attack, and Refueling. This baseline would be very useful for most users getting started with RS.
@HaV0k if you have developed enough experience with the different tweaking parameters, a great video explaining these would be great. While RS does provide documentation both for the R3 Lightning unit and the different joysticks, some of us may have difficulty understanding what they are saying, or maybe it's just me.
Do I regret buying it ??? Not a chance, although the price and shipping charges are steep.
Hope to get something going with this post.
Happy Flying! ✈
Hey! Thanks for your questions! It's definitely a lot to learn in order to configure. There's a rotary wheel on the stick that allows you to change sensitivity settings on the fly that you define in the software. So, it will definitely give you a ton of customizability.
I haven't regretted purchasing it for a second, even though the price is steep. But I've heard that winwings FSSB is also a pretty solid option with almost as much customizability.
Sadly I'm not back home at the moment, so I have no way of going through the settings and posting more info on the stick for another 7 months or so. But once I'm home, I'll definitely be putting up some videos.
That's my dream Stick right there
Always wamted a stick like this, great review man.
Thank you!
Wow! Nice stick. Hadn't heard about it before, thanks!
Thanks! It's definitely an awesome stick!
Made in Spain!!! If you think this OS snobbish you should check out Brunner and Virtual cockpit. Their respective cockpits.
I've definitely seen some pretty crazy cockpit setups! It makes me jealous every time I see them 🤣😅
I'm still using Saitek X-65F in November 2021. ✌🏼
Still a great HOTAS!
Just ordered the base and angle adapter.
Plan on ordering the stick soon. Couldn’t order everything at the same time due to the costs. Will be saving up for that stick and should order it in another month or so.
The TM Warthog stick isn’t really designed to handle these forces. Would like to relegate that stick to my Virpil T-50CM2 base for use in only the A-10.
Nice! As far as the stick is concerned if you buy the f16 stick it already has the f16 angle to it. The angle adapter is only needed for Warthog sticks that are not as angled as theirs. Be sure to read the info on their site. They should explain that!
@@Hav0k
Thanks! Yeah I knew I didn’t need the angle adapter with the Real Sim F-16 stick. I almost didn’t buy the angle adapter but I figured it’d be nice to have in case I wanted to try the TM F-18 and I don’t want the grip completely vertical. No matter how I use this base, it’ll always be a sidestick for my case.
I’d be more interested in the Real Sim F-18 grip if it also had the paddle switch. For some reason the F-16 does but the F-18 doesn’t. Hope they chg that in the future.
PS. I also wanted to use the angle adapter until I get the RS F-16 grip for the full experience. Already spending a lot, figured what’s $65 euros for more options.

@@DD-sw1dd ah okay! Good that makes sense then! The f18 stick is a solid option as well. What ever setup works best for you is what matters!
@@Hav0k
You weren’t joking. This setup is amazing.
Zero issues for me translating from a Virpil base with the 200mm extension to this. Once I felt how to pull directly left and right it was no problem. Also, the haptic feedback on the V2 grips works like a charm to let you know when you are at 80% deflection and max deflection. Immediately switched that feature on and turned off the lights and audible warnings.
PS. Really surprised how light the entire setup is in comparison to just a Thrustmaster grip. Think the entire RL3 + F16 grip weighs as much as the Warthog grip.
Glad you are enjoying it! Sorry for the late reply. I'm gonna have to check out the v2 grip... I need that haptic feedback!

Meu sonho. Um dia quem sabe... 🙌
I want to build my F-16 sim out of an actual front section of a retired F-16.
I've seen a few guys do that in my group! But I think most of them got some plans and built them out of wood and put in the switches
How does the accuracy compare to Saitek X65F Pro?
Edit: There is a WinWing alternative now, $390 FSSB base +$50 adapter for TM grip, or a $769 combo, which includes F16 throttle, stick and FSSB base.
Sorry I missed this. Honestly the difference in accuracy is night and day to me. Yes, the x65f is great, albeit old, it still performs very well. But the Realsim is by far more customizable and more accurate.
I've been paying attention to the WW fssb and I've heard it's a very solid option. I'm hoping WW could send me one to review against my Realsim at some point, but we'll see what happens.
Great review! I think I'm going to purchase the stick and base. I read one comment that is does have very slight movement? I read the real F-16 allows for about a 1/4" movement. Sounds like this might do about the same.
Thank you! It's definitely worth the purchase for sure. It does move but it's barely much to really notice tbh. Not quite like the real f16 stick
@@Hav0k Thanks so much for your quick reply. I'm sold on it and going to order. Any thoughts on the best throttle to purchase? The RealSimulator F-35/F-16 throttle looks amazing, but totally sold out and not accepting any orders it appears.
@@arpdog honestly winwing and virpil make great throttles. I'm partial to virpils cm3, but I haven't tried any of winwings throttle
@@arpdog I recently purchased the Winwing.F16 throttle and absolutely love it! It's a little challenging to assemble the guide rail system (check a couple of RUclips videos), but once you get it setup correctly, it's awesome. Worth the effort. A perfect match for this incredible F16 stick.
Great... yet another peripheral to add to my list of wants 🤣😅
Another thing I'm curious about is the software. Virpil has horribly complex software so how does this one compare?
So I know I only briefly went over the software in the video, but after reviewing that section of the video it was rather... boring, so I ended up cutting out a large portion. In a nutshell, the software is highly customizable and allows you to change the force settings, set your buttons to be keystrokes, enable Roll Control Assistance, change the hats to be either 4-way hats, 8-way hats, or make them all just a single push button, change roll and pitch sensibility, change the full-scale control to allow for more error for when you are doing Air to Air refueling, landing or formation flying, enable precision mode and adjust the percentage of how much precision you want.
And that's just scratching the surface. As far as comparing it to the Virpil software it's just as massively customizable, BUT easier to understand, learn and configure. It also always works and I haven't encountered any issues. I'll give it a solid 9.5/10 with the knowledge I have on it.
Very nice review, one day i will buy it
I'm very, very tempted to purchase this base and stick combo. Money isn't really the issue. How is the quality of the switches compared to the Warthog grip? The fact that even a simple push-button like the pickle button is a 5-way switch makes me worried that the switches will feel floaty or flimsy. Was this an issue?
Personally, I haven't used the Warthog stick, but the quality on the buttons is top notch. They don't feel flimsy or floaty and are super firm and clicky all the way around.
@@Hav0k thanks! That's really helpful. Did you get the F-16SGRH with or without the anti-slip coating? They also have a collector's edition. Which one do you recommend?
@@Vortex31415 I got the base f-16 stick. I didn't see a point in getting the anti slip or collectors edition. They will all be awesome regardless. So I definitely recommend the standard model
@@Vortex31415 ruclips.net/video/I9eNpUwRs1Y/видео.html
Hmmm...the base will work with the ThrustMaster F-16 stick?... the "officially licensed USAF" one? That's convenient. I already have one and write like it. lol
Absolutely! I love that they think of multiple sticks. I'd like to see them support Virpil sticks as well at some point.
@@Hav0k That'd be awesome...the more interoperability, the better!!
@@rmp5s I completely agree 👍
I am curious, is just the latent force from gripping the stick an issue that you have to train yourself to avoid? It seems like you wouldn't be able to just set deadzones as then you'd lose the ability for "fingertip" control.
Never used or even seen such a stick so I have no idea.
For me its never been an issue and I don't think it would be an issue for most people because the motions are pretty much the same. Over time with practice you develop better control over your finer wrist movements to allow for more gentle movements when doing things like air to air refueling
Force sensing sticks require much more force than what the weight of a hand can apply in an upright position. It can actually be tiring to maintain a certain amount of pull/roll for extended period's of time. But more often than not, you'll reach your desired orientation quick enough that its a non issue.
@@Blu0tuth0ninja Having used a force sensing stick, the x65f, for the past 10 years now this statement is not at all true. In a lot of cases the lower setting within the software actually requires less force than a typical stick to reach max deflection and it's rather easy to maintain constant input if needed.
The human body works in a way that the more you use something the more proficient you are and the less fatigued you become. So, while at first an individual may become fatigued, after prolonged use (that is if they have the force set extremely high) they will develop better strength and endurance.
@@Hav0k I was speaking from my experience with an F-16 stick. I assumed the one featured would be set to the same force sensitivity.
@@Blu0tuth0ninja yeah everyone's experience is different of course. Most of the guys that I fly with that have this setup or similar haven't had that issue and said they have less fatigue and can maintain turns with greater ans more consistent accuracy even over long durations than with their traditional stick because it requires less overall pressure.
Great video! @Hav0k
I have a question regarding the stick’s return to centre (or damping).
When you apply roll input the then release the input, how quickly does the aircraft react to the stick release?
With conventional sticks you can adjust the damping or the speed at which the which the stick returns to centre following a roll or pitch input.
Since the FSSB is force sensing, is there any way the ‘virtual’ return to centre speed can be adjusted in the settings?
Thanks.
My apologies for the delay. I've been out of my house for a bit. The joystick returns to center similar to a normal joystick. It takes about a half second to return to center
As far as I understand it there is not a way to change how slow or how quit it returns to center. However, you can obviously modify how much input is given based on how many pounds of pressure you put on it which is similar to dampening on a normal joystick
Great video. A few questions if you dont mind: I currently own the FSSB R3 and I'm really happy with it. I use it with a Warthog stick which isn't ideal (slight wiggle). I'm thinking about upgrading to the RS stick but my concern is the hats for the push buttons, how stiff are those? Is it easy to missclick the pickle or NWS button (pressing up or down instead of just depress)? I know you can disable those functions in the software but I fear it might break the immersion of the F-16 if the buttons are too loose. And which version of the stick do you have, the anti slip one or the regular SGRH?
Happy to answer! I haven't used the Warthog stick, but the RS stick is extremely awesome solid overall. I personally haven't had any issues with misclicking any of the buttons on the stick. All the buttons are pretty stiff and give positive feedback so you know when you're operating the buttons.
I have the standard RS grip. I didn't see a purpose to get the antislip. All of the buttons are configured to work how a Warthog or Vipet stick would as if you were in a real cockpit.
@@Hav0k Cool, thanks a lot mate!
@@Willdass happy to help! Let me know if you have any other questions!
@@Willdass My warthog stick developed a slight wobble as well. I was happily surprised to find that the bottom two screws loosened up over time. I simply used an Allen wrench and tightened the two screws about one turn and Walla. Its wobble free. Give this a shot. See if it fixed your warthog stick too.
@@gradygraham1281 this worked for me aswell, for a few flights. In the end I had to tighten before each session. Ended up buying the RS stick, big improvement. I can have higher resistance now without the fear of my stick breaking.
There is also a support bracket you can buy for your warthog to reduce the pressure on the warthog.
What is different to something like a Winwing Orion 2 MFSSB base?
Sadly, I haven't done any testing with WW's FSSB at all, but I've heard it's not half bad.
So if you were buying a system today as a new startup, which HOTAS would go with? The FSSB, Virpil, Thrustmaster, or Winwing? I am just getting back into Flight Sims after a number of years and want a good setup. Thanks!
If you are just starting, it depends on budget. If you're looking to casually play a x56 is a good starting point to go with. If you're gonna be playing dcs pretty often and other sims, I'd say go Virpil all the way.
The Realsimulator stick is great, but not as a starting stick. I haven't used winwing but I've heard they're good

Hey Havoc. How does the Virpil CM3 throttle work with this stick? Better then winwing f-16 throttle? For instance: how do you set airbrakes un the CM3 versus the real thing? Does the software of the realsimulator conflict wirh virpil’s software?

@@Hav0k thx for your information. The cm 3 is more versatile and it combines with the pedals. Live in europe so i am sure now that virpil and realsimulator are the way to go. Thx very much!
@@stpeeke absolutely! Two of my favorite companies so far! I'll be checking out other products when I get back if I can get my hands on them
My understanding is that it’s 4-way or 8-way with 5-8 being accessed by pressing and then moving in the four directions. Is there an option for making them just 5-way (the normal 4 directions plus just a push - similar to many of the hats on your Virpil throttle)? Thank you.
By default they're all configured as 5 way hats. 4 directions plus push. There is a way to change them to POV style hats.
@@Hav0k Oh wow, so if you don’t do anything at all you get by default four directions and the push? So for example, I could have my pickle button be press as usual but I could also move it in the 4 other directions for additional functions? Or maybe a better example would be I could have all the hats and buttons act like the sensor hat on an F/A-18 where you could have the four directions but still have a press - essentially allowing me to have any of the hats of my choosing serve the role of the Hornet’s sensor hat? That would be incredible if that’s the case.
@@Corsair8X basically what I mean is that the stick is configured to operate as if you are using it like a Warthog or viper stick. The pickle operates by default as the weapon release essentially

@@Hav0k thanks!
7 eight-way hats? I only see 4.?? Also, it's a shame you never show it in use. Are you saying the stick doesn't move at all? You just apply force? Thanks
I miss spoke. They're all 4 way hats plus push that can operate in a POV or trim button manner, but yes there is 7 of them. The buttons that look like single push buttons are actually 4-way hats.
Such as the pickle button, nose wheel steering button and pinky switch
Yes you just apply force. Also here is the video of it in action: ruclips.net/video/I9eNpUwRs1Y/видео.html 😉
Got a used FSSB R3 warthog. Did I do the right thing?
Honestly I'd say if it was any other joystick I would have been a little cautious about it. But given how it's such a unique stick, most people that have owned it probably took pretty good care of it.
So, if everything works without issue then I'd say it wasn't a mistake at all! Especially if you paid less than if you were to buy a new one.
@@Hav0k I have tons of other sticks, but haven't been able to get my hands on a force-sensing one for years. Got very lucky, a friend of mine caught a local ad for an R3 Warthog. Perfect condition too, the guy I got it from is a BMS flyer with two FCC3 mods that he prefers over an FSSB for some reason. Haven't got the pelican case with it, but it was only 180$, a STEAL. I am keeping it. I am already enjoying the DCS Viper landings and sustained turns are much more controllable now. Gonna watch your settings video and tune this thing a bit more, get some practice and I am sure it will be a monster. I was flying MT-50CM2 base for the last couple of years. Meh, it's cool but I don't think the price justifies it over a winwing orion 2
If I ever get my hands on an Orion 2 FSSB, I'll do a vs review on the two. But it definitely is a big price difference.
Shiit. Was looking at VKB sticks, until you came along.
x65f better as have 4 force profiles that you can change in flight, and same you can make presetting any force you want, don' talking about mapping profiles, what i don't need, as have enough buttons and hats, and any way is not about all system, only about grip, so even pro version when you can set different force for left and right rolls(for push and pull i think is superfluous) not worth it as you can not change force profile due flight, with x65f you can use heaviest profile for cruise, middle for fight and aerobatic take off landing, half relaxed for aggressive do everything middle do, and full relax for recalibrate center with replug usb, and can use it for taxi(btw force realsimulator haven't twist, and this is same intuitive and convenient as pull back for pitch and side for bank, sure much more convenient than pedals, if not super obsessive about super realism)
before this one, i had microsoft precision pro with laser sensors(17 years used, x65f about 8 years so far) both joysticks has not much long time in developing, i guess, because both of them better than people buy them lol, but people strange enough, so it's ok... so imo you don't need to be enthusiast for x65f, it's just very best joystick in the universe, sure if brain/heart can feel and get it(all you need is force back feeling, and joystick position is absolutely nothing, and give you zero information, but aircraft's reaction of your manipulation + back force that push your hand is enough, so the more convenient comfortable manipulator, the better it is, and better than force sensor joystick nothing exist :) may be only mind control, but i don't sure :)
X65F is a solid HOTAS as I explained since I came from it. The FSSB from Realsimulator comes with the ability to switch to 8 different force settings on the fly. 4 more than the x65f. It's all about your preferences. However, I do notice the FSSB is by far better in sensor quality and overall accuracy than the x65f.
@@Hav0k wow, is the switcher on the base for change profiles? that's cool, with that it's really better, but what do you mean by "sensor quality" in x65f is ideal, what can be better is only more stable center, you can easy move it a bit after enough aggressive move, present micro noise but only at relaxed profiles, that you don't notice at all, and as mentioned x65f have twist, so for me in any way is better as 4 profiles is enough, any way 8 physical profiles is impressive and for sure not worst than x65f(if use pedals)... so realsimulator's grip haven't this moving center problem? if so, i should say, i was wrong, and realsimulator must be best for sure, grip in any way(exclude for twist addicted users)
@@einherz No there's a rotary encoder underneath the trim hat that's easily accessible. The overall accuracy and quality of the force sensor is more advanced providing in a more stable center and higher resolution. This basically allows for even micro adjustments to be made without the need to change the sensitivity.
Again, the x65f is a great HOTAS. However, the Realsimulator quite literally has none of the negatives that my x65f had. The FSSB has a twist function if a user does not have pedals, but it's disabled by default.
@@Hav0k got it, so if it has twist, i know what i will get if my x65f grip start give me problems... in this way realsimulator's grip very best without any questions :) ... as i get more stable center is center just not move at all, because in my case it's moves just a bit, and can be fast recalibrate by unplug and plug back in same profile or better in full relaxed profile, about sensors, must be for understand i have to use new one, because my half relaxed profile has 0.94kgf x and 1.25kgf y and this my first profile, after almost 8 years yesterday or two days ago i start to use metal plate with glue tapes on perimeter, so guess will use more 1.56kgf x and 1.88kg y... so about 8 years i used to it even without fix on table :) so hard to imagine it can be better, any way, i had to read more carefully with better memory, sure i read before about this, but forgot, now in any way i can be calm, and count on realsimulator, if something will wrong with mine grip, so... more stable center, that's mean is moved too, just not so as was with your x65f?
Ils ont depuis un nouveau modèle à 3500€ ....base et stick...pour les pro
To me is pretty obvious, they "developed" this stick in order to cram the pilot in a tiny cockpit, this thing might as well beat the Spitfire in ridiculously small space:
ruclips.net/video/tfb2L-blz4Y/видео.html
The F-35 has a bit larger cockpit and they decided to stick with the design. According to some of the f16 pilots I've talked to, the stick design was created in order to allow pilots to pull G's for a longer period of time and not be forced to used both hands to pull a longer, higher G rate
You paid $1200 ?! It's 8500 euros in their website! What gives ?? Edit: Never mind; was viewing their PRO series... Damn they are expensive !
Hahahaha yeah that's their pro version! 🤣
I love it but man, wipe that crumb off the hand rest!! :-P
Hahaha that is actually a piece of saw dust from modifying my sim rig. Bit I agree after I posted the video I realized it and it bugged me 🤣
Can I buy the base and mount my Warthog stick to it?
Yes you can! The Warthog is connected the same way as the sticks that realsimulator makes.
@@Hav0k Awesome. I'm way to poor to get both.
@@AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH-y5f lol I understand completely :D
@@Hav0k Oh one more question, do you know if this is compatible with Virpil mounts or any other mount that has TM compatibility.
@@AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH-y5f it is not. It's only compatible with the TM Warthog and Hornet and Realsims grips.
calls people pleb
has f16 grip.
flies stinky f18
well i am confused. lol
Haha it's all in a joking manner. But yeah I fly the f18. I'd like to fly the f16, but I also love the dynamics of carrier operations with my group
@@Hav0k It was a satirical comment loved the video btw! (f-16 player here "i always recomend the f-18 for its capabilities and fun factor and i call it jokingly as stinky f-18 for having so much love from ED and the community " a japanese saying if you are in love with someone you call it stinky /flea sack ( kitten) compliment) ♥ loved the realism and flight sim is already a niche, i paid 400 usd for my magnetic base with taxes to import to my country ( almost 3 times the price) let alone this fantastic hotas RealSimulator.
Im curious to see you master the skies with the f16 module when ED finally fix it.
@@Hotaru-jp haha I figured 🤣. But yes much love and respect for ED's hard work making these beautiful jets.
I originally came from Falcon BMS so the f16 was my first love. Flew that all the time. But I definitely want to play and practice with the F-16 and soon enough I'll be posting some dcs videos with the f18 and f16 videos so stay tuned for those! Thanks for your comments!
@@Hav0k Keep up with the good content! sorry for my broken english! sleep schedule is all broken , and ESL
Started dcs in 2007 when it was called lock on - flaming cliffs a long way ago
Many broken sleep schedules because of flight sims, I don't regret it. (having to stop and coming back due to school and uni)
I recommend trying the f16 for free on their free trial program that lasts 2 weeks, it is finally getting some love and they have been working hard.
I played bms for a bit, loved it but have been unable to play recently because of university .
I'd like to see you flying the f16 in dcs and having some fun once they fix most of the bugs and improve the flight model ( again)
Ps: i know they have fixed it bellow 20k feet but still need some AoA and nose authority fix and not to bleed the speed soooo fast.
I think you will love it.
PS: I love doing air refueling so much fun.
i'm weird i know7
is the base has magnetic input
I may be misunderstanding your question. What do you mean magnetic input?
Input is force sensing, not stick displacement. It does NOT use a hall effect sensor like TM leverages as part of its H.E.A.R.T. feature lineup.
@@DanStrait thanks for answering his question! I was slightly lost since I honestly don't know all of the tech that goes into Thrustmasters products
Астрономическая сумма, купить такое может только миллиардер, и такой богач вряд увлечён этой забавой.
honestly the thrustmaster one is better
To each their own! :)
so does this have FFB?
Not Force Feedback. It's Force Sensing which basically means that the joystick doesn't move and operates by pressure to maneuver
Yea no f that I remember for 200 300 bucks you used to be able to get some of the best HOTAS systems available.. the price gouging these days is nuts..
There's still a lot of good HOTAS' out there in that range. Many of these other peripherals are premium options for people that are super into flight sims.
