The speed defenders change direction is so unrealistic. Even if they are going backwards or sideways they can keep up with the quickest attackers. What's the point of sprint speed, acceleration and agility. No matter which way you dribble the defender is just there beside you. And then they do that awful robotic jump across your player and get the ball.
exactly i agree. the defenders move with no "weight", while attackers gotta deal with game play delay, button unresponsiveness, etc. I've come to peace with it, most of the time...
@@mariomills thats a great way of explaining it, its as if they are floating across the pitch. A defender could be 6 or 7 yards away from you and will take 2 steps and then he's beside/in front of you tackling the ball. That doesn't happen in real life. I get they have to make the AI competitive but they need to make it less obvious or more realistic when they win back the ball if that makes sense

@@THEGUIDE_bPGi appreciate your effort You and your team but trust me there are a lot of things need explaining in tearms of defense like how to defend against players who shild the ball all the time or the ppl who run with shilding the ball by pressing L2 and a lot of things to talk about especially now defense has been ruined after post patch ..... I always enter your channel looking for videos about defending cuz its the most needing thing in this game so plz guys do your best and come up with advanced ideas and tips for defending THx
I've noticed that legacy defence gives you more effective rough fouls that don't get noticed by the ref . Kicks and nibbles on your players. Also it's been years now and 2nd player can't store his configurations . Years . Devs don't care about offline players.
I started playing fifa last week again and my passing feels so bad. Even when i win 4:0 my opponent has much smoother and better looking passing. It's like my passing animations always look ugly and clunky. Why am i so bad now? 😒 I'm in division 5, i use wired xbox one controller, passing assisted, pass reciever lock=early, ping is usually 10-16ms.
Take a look at the gameplay scene. All the defenders stand around me without going towards me. R1/RB got hard nerfed this year and until you reach the box, AI defenders won't do anything to you. So no, it's not a lie. :) - CruZzAve
@@THEGUIDE_bPG sorry if somehow i offended you , you guys helped me a lot in your videos , but i even have clips of my OWN players running straight at me and tackling me , and for the opponent ,he uses one player while one or two players get me in a sandwich
Using shielding with L2 can help. In our two tutorial videos on top 5 dribbling techniques and top 5 dribbling tips you can find a lot of advice on how to not lose the ball when dribbling. :) - CruZzAve

I have never thought watching I can be good on defense like now

The legacy when playing online friendlies is crazy now on the new patch, can't even get close to the players. Can you make a video about that?

I hate how even smaller players can push my players off the ball, is there a tutorial how to protect the ball better?
