Thanks for appreciating students Danny. I had a service station years ago, we sold drinks and hot food. Students bought in so much business, all in a good way, and really added to the vibe of the community. Years later I still remember some, and wonder where they are now.

Having worked in retail for 10 years, you can't stay chirpy every single day. Its only human. Being rude to customers is something else, but not smiling or being full of the joys of spring, sometimes its just impossible. I don't hold it against her. The most you can do as a customer is just be polite from your end. I remember times when I was behind the counter. I just had my nasty ex wife text me ranting and and raving at calling me a prick etc ...for something I didn't actually do . I was shaking with rage . Needless to say I wasn't in the mood for talking to customers. When my daughter was born, I'd had 9 hours sleep in 3 days, yet I had to sit behind the counter because work was so short staffed, that if I said no, I would have made my problems worse. My current wife miscarried , but I still had to go into work and sit behind a counter . And then theres times when you just feel rough because you've the onset of a virus.
Sorry "v8cool 2" - unacceptable. When you're the public face of a business, the least you can do goes beyond just being polite. You need to be welcoming and let the customer know you appreciate his business. Even if you do feel bummed, when a guy like Danny shows up, elevating the mood, anyone behind the counter ought to respond positively.

The clerk in her German bakery came across as dour and unfriendly. She recognised that as the mostly normal way there and eventually she got used to it again but still liked the American style better. I give my repeat business to where I get a smile and an indication that they want me to be satisfied.

My god, I wish that salt and pepper flavouring craze would reach Australia. We just don't seem to have it here. I mean we obviously have them individually as ingredients in a dish or as seasonings to add ourselves afterwards, but as an actual style of flavour like that (either in fried chicken/chips or in Asian cuisines), not one that I've seen anywhere here.
We don't have half the range or quality of good old British grub out here. I've been out here 50 years this year, & still haven't found a chippy that can come close to English Fish & Chips. Scampi, Full English etc.
Many Chinese restaurants in OZ have salt and pepper prawns or chicken. In my town, Batemans Bay, NSW we have 4 chinese places, they all do salt and pepper dishes,.
I work in Sriracha (Siracha) district, home of the famous sauce! Looks good enough to eat that Danny Lad :) you are still Barnsley's best export since Big Bub!

Looks like you need to get some decent sized tie-wraps to wrap around the frame in front of the seat fabric to help stop it sliding forwards. Get black ones and they won’t stand out, just make sure you position the clasp underneath so it doesn’t dig into your legs!
I've been to Patterson's hundreds of times. It used to be my no.1 place in Liverpool but I have to admit the quality has dipped over the last few years unfortunately.
you HAVE to try Elvin’s Street food in Lytham St Anne’s. It rated #1 on Tripadvisor and is tucked away down a victorian alleyway. Can’t recommend enough!
I'm from Liverpool and we are known for our friendliness and warmth, however, the girl here looked like she couldn't be bothered to even speak to Danny and they are prepped for these videos.
I always think when you're eating out the price includes ambience and service. Not much anyone can say about ambience if you choose to sit in the street with the bins but even takeaways are accountable for service that certainly appeared to be sub standard at this establishment. I did like to see the onion in the dirty fries though 🤣

@@TANOSHII1 It was a takeout delivery, they don't normally supply knifes and forks and typically don't have them, their takeout is normally deliveroo or uber eats and as far as I know its not a walk in takeout. I do go here quite often as they always have the footy on and its good when you want to avoid the mass hysteria in a sports bar and just have something to eat and few pints watching the game. I completely get how it looks, but it just shows that Danny doesn't stage his videos and wandered in to get a genuine grasp of how good the food is without notifying the restaurant and I wouldn't want him to change that! Be plenty of places that don't really do takeout that would be the same. I get it Danny is really upbeat on his videos, hes a class act and always seems genuine, but not everyone wants to be on camera, those are the vibes i got from the waiting staff on this video. Honestly some of the nicest staff I've encountered and always great service, even in spells before lockdown happened when they let the food standards drop.

We don't have half the range or quality of good old British grub out here. I've been out here 50 years this year, & still haven't found a chippy that can come close to English Fish & Chips. Scampi, Full English etc.

Many Chinese restaurants in OZ have salt and pepper prawns or chicken. In my town, Batemans Bay, NSW we have 4 chinese places, they all do salt and pepper dishes,.

Looks like you need to get some decent sized tie-wraps to wrap around the frame in front of the seat fabric to help stop it sliding forwards. Get black ones and they won’t stand out, just make sure you position the clasp underneath so it doesn’t dig into your legs!
I've been to Patterson's hundreds of times. It used to be my no.1 place in Liverpool but I have to admit the quality has dipped over the last few years unfortunately.

you HAVE to try Elvin’s Street food in Lytham St Anne’s. It rated #1 on Tripadvisor and is tucked away down a victorian alleyway. Can’t recommend enough!
I'm from Liverpool and we are known for our friendliness and warmth, however, the girl here looked like she couldn't be bothered to even speak to Danny and they are prepped for these videos.
Precisely, she made a show of us. So rude and no Scouse humour/banter at all, which is what we're famous for.

I always think when you're eating out the price includes ambience and service.
Not much anyone can say about ambience if you choose to sit in the street with the bins but even takeaways are accountable for service that certainly appeared to be sub standard at this establishment.
I did like to see the onion in the dirty fries though 🤣
I go here regular and the service is always spot on, not everyone wants to be on camera however.

I didn't see much enthusiasm while Danny was ordering the menu to take out and then not even a fork or napkin ?......let's be honest those dirty fries aren't really finger food are they 🤣
@@TANOSHII1 It was a takeout delivery, they don't normally supply knifes and forks and typically don't have them, their takeout is normally deliveroo or uber eats and as far as I know its not a walk in takeout.
I do go here quite often as they always have the footy on and its good when you want to avoid the mass hysteria in a sports bar and just have something to eat and few pints watching the game.
I completely get how it looks, but it just shows that Danny doesn't stage his videos and wandered in to get a genuine grasp of how good the food is without notifying the restaurant and I wouldn't want him to change that! Be plenty of places that don't really do takeout that would be the same.
I get it Danny is really upbeat on his videos, hes a class act and always seems genuine, but not everyone wants to be on camera, those are the vibes i got from the waiting staff on this video.
Honestly some of the nicest staff I've encountered and always great service, even in spells before lockdown happened when they let the food standards drop.
You should try places in Warrington. So many nice places: Groke Burger, Brothers burgers, taste fusion… many others.
