I absolutely LOVE Greek food and salads are essential with a meal. That looked delish and i was ok with the prices, apart crom the kofta which i thought was waaayyy over priced for that tiny portion. Ppl definitely won't be beating down the soor at that price. Hope you go to some more Greek places

I live in Turkey the koftas are great as well as the kebabs. The Baclava you cant eat a lot as its so sugary and being a diabetic I cant eat it but looks great. Thing is your paying UK prices in Turkey its cheaper in comparison for those items
Yes everything is a bit steeper these days with eating out, its a shame, butthe cost of living has went up everywhere in UK unfortunately, I wont get intot a mad rant about it of course in this channel. Baklava is to be eaten sparingly isn't it a wee piece with a coffee.

I live in Halifax and this is a great takeaway. The food is well favoured and it's not a cheap donner meat place. When they deliver the food is like Danny has been served with fresh salad and sauces and the chips have flavour on them no polystyrene trays at this place.
All that food looked amazing although the portions were tiny…and pricy! Much cheaper in Greece/Greek islands but I suppose you have to get there first!!

Is that slate you were served your sandwich on? Do you get to take home the pieces in case your roof needs repair. I’m not sure about that as a serving plate. Love Greek food anywhere anytime. That is the smallest serving of baklava I’ve ever seen served for dessert
Yes, looks like it - the slate. I don't know who opens restaurants and thinks: "Hey, what about really inappropriate serving plates, maybe something where all the liquid can run off the plate and onto the table and, as a bonus, is hard to set down or pick up!?" One of the most memorable for me was a place that had cutlery with a wavy handle design. The knife and fork would swivel in your fingers. Very annoying.
The food looked pretty authentic - a bit on the pricey side - but maybe since Brexit it is costing more to import it. The size of the Baklava was very disappointing as it can be made relatively cheaply with ingredients that are not hard to find. Glad you are well again and back out there.

As a Greek myself, and as much as I love Greek food, that lamb kofte starter was an absolute rip off. Most places in Cyprus/Greece will give you at least 5 of the meatballs for that price. Maybe 6. Still, food looked great.

Pretty PLEASE will you visit "Dough" on 75 High St, when they reopen, apparently they are closed due to the pandemic, but will reopen soon. The meal to try is a Chicken/white chocolate in a creamy risotto, and don't forget to add the truffle oil, it's amazing, I'm so curious as to if you'll love it like we did. Best item on the menu In our opinions.

Everything seemed a little overpriced to me. The chargrilled lamb koftas at £6 is very expensive. The pork sausage and halloumi is also a bit pricey.
