I think, based on the trailer for 4.6, she's passing onto the title "King" by using the old tradition of the orphanage, which is defeating the "King" to get the title. There are also some who theorized that Arlecchinno is gonna fake her death by doing the tradition in the House of Hearth.
Arlecchino was going to kill some of her orphan children for trying to go against the House Of The Hearth, so Lyney, Lynette, Freminet and Aether had to duel against her to stop her. (I don't know what happens next I'm too scared to fight her ☹️.) But I'm pretty sure Arlecchino wins and doesn't kill them
