A couple of decades ago, when I was in the first couple of years of my seven year PhD clinical psychology program, I was required to enroll in graduate-level sociology and anthropology courses at my Big-10 university. Literally every single full professor in these departments was a committed Marxist/Leninist. I was and remain a strong experimental scientist, and I was dismayed at the complete rejection of the scientific method by these pitifully indoctrinated SJW pseudo-intellectuals. In the absence of scientific corroboration, these professors existed in an incestuous world of pure conjecture and groupthink. No one can say they are anything but tools for increasing perceived sexuality. Peterson is not saying they shouldn't wear makeup or that they are responsible for being sexually harassed/assaulted, but the choice was made and there is some level of responsibility to be taken with the choices one makes. It is like painting a target on yourself and walking into a shooting range insisting you don't want to be shot at but you still insist on looking like a viable target and demonize those who take a shot based on what they can see. I have the same issue. It doesn’t really help if there’s someone else in the room with me, but in order to get through this kind of garbage, I find myself pausing the video every ten seconds or so to think about why exactly it is that I disagree and then put it into words. I often just give up on watching what they have to say entirely. They always say the same things anyway, and never bother justifying what they believe, they just repeatedly assert what they believe or insult their opponents until everyone else gets tired of them and then they claim victory over the debate. Having these guys make regular interludes to inject some sanity into these leftists’ insane rants makes it much easier to get through them.
People can only tolerate so much idiocy on their own. You needing someone to help you through the garbage is not something to be ashamed of. Great video. It totally exposed and discredits Mic. They clearly were unable to take on Peterson's ideas, so instead they resorted to distorting and misrepresenting them. This went even to the extent of telling downright lies about the man and his position.

I’m astoundingly impressed by the intelligence, rationality, comprehension and coherency of these two debunkers.
A couple of decades ago, when I was in the first couple of years of my seven year PhD clinical psychology program, I was required to enroll in graduate-level sociology and anthropology courses at my Big-10 university. Literally every single full professor in these departments was a committed Marxist/Leninist. I was and remain a strong experimental scientist, and I was dismayed at the complete rejection of the scientific method by these pitifully indoctrinated SJW pseudo-intellectuals. In the absence of scientific corroboration, these professors existed in an incestuous world of pure conjecture and groupthink. If anything, Marxism has since become even more entrenched as the default position of the liberal arts academy on campuses around the world.

He was pointing out how sexual advances are being punished as harassment but sexual signaling isn't frowned upon. And that women that demand that men refrain from sexual advances while putting on sexual signals are hypocritical.

Hit the nail on the head, Peterson painted him into a corner so easily. He had no way of answering Jordan without destroying his own position. No one can say they are anything but tools for increasing perceived sexuality.
Peterson is not saying they shouldn't wear makeup or that they are responsible for being sexually harassed/assaulted, but the choice was made and there is some level of responsibility to be taken with the choices one makes. It is like painting a target on yourself and walking into a shooting range insisting you don't want to be shot at but you still insist on looking like a viable target and demonize those who take a shot based on what they can see. But that was secondary to his actual point as Skyler pointed out above.

I think it's very telling that this hit piece comprised almost exclusively this host and his buddies talking about what they think Peterson believes instead of actually demonstrating these accusations with the countless video recordings of his various lectures. I have the same issue. It doesn’t really help if there’s someone else in the room with me, but in order to get through this kind of garbage, I find myself pausing the video every ten seconds or so to think about why exactly it is that I disagree and then put it into words. I often just give up on watching what they have to say entirely. They always say the same things anyway, and never bother justifying what they believe, they just repeatedly assert what they believe or insult their opponents until everyone else gets tired of them and then they claim victory over the debate. Having these guys make regular interludes to inject some sanity into these leftists’ insane rants makes it much easier to get through them.
People can only tolerate so much idiocy on their own.
