@EricAtMazda that is awesome! I am a Bug fan. Not sure if you have seen Herbie-but one of the cars that played Herbie in 1969's The Love Bug was a 1957 VW Bug that had its rear window enlarged (to look like a 63) and a fake sunroof installed. It is known as Herbie #10 and it still exists
It was also used in Herbie Rides Again-though it didn't appear as Herbie. It was damaged while filming 1969's The Love Bug, so for Herbie Rides Again the production crew made it into a Yellow Junkyard Beetle-thus earned it the nickname "Junky". The former owner removed the yellow paint to make it look like Herbie but left it dented up. Here is a scene of the Herbie 10 playing the Junkyard Beetle in Herbie Rides Again, plus an interview with its owner Clayton Capps. ruclips.net/video/LKyhP7dWGhE/видео.html ruclips.net/video/0Pylu8n26Og/видео.html
This is so cool! Im currently doing a restoration on my 1957 beelte myself, its in the same color and the interior is also the same so really cool to see urs!
My first car was a well used '57 Beetle that provided some "adventures." Smoking wires in Philly, fuel pump crapping out on the New Jersey Turnpike plus other aggravations such as hard cold starting thanks to the six volt ignition system..
This is a Classic VW !!! Beautiful Car!! I had 4 recapped Snow tires on my 65 Beetle!
This is my favorite classic car 👍
What a beauty, love those small windshield models .
VWs only had a single indicator for the turn signals until the early 1990s. My 1992 Jetta was like that.

I believe that the Michelin XZX was the standard tire on the Porsche 356 from that era. It's a tire that's been in production for at least 65 years..
