I have extra slack in my string when my umbrella folds up and closes, it just hangs there with about 5 inches of chord showing... Do you know what I need to do to remedy the problem?

My cantilever cord is 11-ft.

I did it myself with the Stodoys plans. I think this is the best way to find out how to build it.
