Thank you for this video because I was about to come over there from USA Truck. USA is doing the exact same things that you mentioned and they are cutting rates lower than ever.
Damn. That sounds just like Schneider. Not the part of the price changing after delivery but everything else. I was thinking of going either Landstar or JB. I don’t think I’ll be going to JB
Great video I was a ic driver with USA Truck for 2 1/2 years until i left in November. Pretty much everything you said about j.b. hunt, usa was doing the same thing which made me leave accept usa let's company drivers pick off the same load board ic drivers has which is not fair.
@MrUniversal357 that's is true but me living in south Florida not right now with these rates and Florida has some of the highest truck insurance in the the country.
Mam so glad u make honest experience review. That helps us all out ...may b together we can help one another by sharing important info such as these iam sure u will have a great new hustle can't wait to hear from dat..with me I joined gemmenni trucking hauling fuel for loves i start Monday 30to 32 hr ...32 if u work weekend .overtime is time n half after 40. ...with benis..not sure if dat helps you...but gemeni n people are Kool
They set the business model up that way (company trucks, outside contractors, then inside contractors) because it's a 3-sided win for them. Company and ICs keep their costs down when they manipulate the ICs ability to win big and comfortably as you described. Outside Contractors are thrown a bone with better value to keep their freight moving by adding more trucks via outsourcing it. Better pay or options will keep them interested in running JB freight. Companies with 100% owners or those with company trucks created their business model for them 1st and the drivers last. Never get comfortable
I came lease a truck with JBHunt in 2020 paid my truck off at JBHunt in 2021 made pretty good money you are correct about the IC load board and 360 board also it’s a trick to be able to see them loads while truck moving not safe but you can 😛🤫
I been with JB hunt for about 3 months now. I’m not liking it money wise I think am gonna leave them soon if things don’t get better. Thanks for the update
Sounds like business being done in the American Way, "The Golden Rule = The guy with the gold, makes the rules. Sometimes it is nice when you can work together with someone, but in the end, you have to do what is best for you. Hang in there.
That's The Purpose Of The IC's, They Watch The IC's And The Lanes They Run And Take The Loads For The Company Drivers And Make A Profit With Less Work For The Dispatchers.
What’s Up Brother! Yeah JB has changed. It’s not the same but you’re doing right. Do what’s best for you and your company. Keep your head up and best of luck.
Yep if we get consistent they remove our lanes lol. Part of the reason I left. Then, playing with compensation. They would change the appt times just for you to drop the load or be late. Putting our loads to the other boards. So much lol.
@@animedemon4 I can’t give you to much information because I’m new myself. But Driver gets 82% of line haul they fuel discount is not to good, lucky I got my own! So far looking at their load board it’s some good paying loads on short hauls. Also the driver is not limited just to cloud load board you can book off any load board and negotiate your own rates. Driver has to get Physical Damage, Occupational Accident, and Bobtail insurance but they have partners you can save money with

Find you a company that’s 100% owner Operator
That’s exactly what I’m looking for. I’m weighing my options right now and researching because my truck is paid for so I can go anywhere.
Good deal! I went with CloudTrucks so far they haven’t let me down

LandStar Yes, JB f**k No
@@MrUniversal357 gotcha. I got a friend looking to go to Cloud trucking.
Love how you connected the dots to a full circle there. Were you lease purchasing or your own truck?
💯

facts
Been with JBH 3 months, I just left a few days ago. I wasn’t feelin it at all..
It’s rough!!!
Don’t forget the outside carriers have back hauls too lol
That shit crazy! How you going to set the outside carriers up wit 10-12 options for back hauls but leave your IC’s out in the cold
That's The Purpose Of The IC's, They Watch The IC's And The Lanes They Run And Take The Loads For The Company Drivers And Make A Profit With Less Work For The Dispatchers.
You make a lot of sense!!! Frfr 💯
