Whoa Dude !!! That fan is OFF the HOOK !!
Cool idea. Glad it worked out so well. Great video
Dude, clean your fan. Lol. Thank you for the great tips. Mine is worse than yours
Thanks for watching! Yeah the fan is my outdoor shop fan but you’re right I should I cleaned it for the video lol.
Thanks the fan is a great idea! Thanks!
Thanks
I just hose the inside with the garden hose, the water temp will met i fast 20 min and you done, do it outside, Use paper towel's to dried the inside and i plug it right back and got it working, all in 1 Hour
Putting buckets of almost boiling water in the freezer and shut the door. The steam and heat will soften the ice and then use a plastic scraper to safely knock of the remaining ice
going to try this, but will use boiling water in cooking pots instead of a bucket (the boiling water would probly melt my plastic bucket lmao). I have so much frost buildup that I’m feeling desperate
I point a tower-style electric heater with integral fan at the open freezer and place dish pans at the bottom of the freezer to catch the melting ice. Works faster and with less effort than a heat gun.
I’ve tried space heaters in the past as well and just a strait box fan is faster.
LOL at 3:15 when it crashed and the instant replay😂👍thanks for the video! My buildup is possibly even worse than this and Im scared to even try!
This really worked great!
That’s awesome! Glad it worked well for you too!
Billy D. How you deal with all the water. How you prevent from your floor being messed up?
Lots of towels and a large tub or basin. Put one end of the towels in the bottom of the freezer and the others in the tub. It will wick out the water as it melts.
@@DunnDifferent I think I can visualize it. The tub will have to be below the level of the freezer. The water can't " wick" or travel upwards on the towel?
Try hot water in a water pick and towels
My only fear about this is water dripping near an eletric fan i would do it mines a total cover of ice
Run your cords over the door so they aren’t near the water.
@@DunnDifferent thank you happy easter from ireland 🇮🇪
I thought fans make things cool.not not
You can see that he is outside in his garage, the outside temps are much warmer and keep a constant blasting of hotter air on it is extremely effective. This would be as effective inside your home.
