How do you to infuse your tea? Post below!
Learned a lot!
Great topic!
i learned a lot in this episode. thanks!
I like short ones too
Me too
Reduces bitterness
The bitterness factor is key. It’s a safer route to go shorter even on something like herbal.
I agree with you. I do like the shorter ones. And most of my friends are shocked. When I tell them, you can reuse the leaves repeatedly.
Agree
I’d rather have a tea that’s a little light in a flavor than one that is possibly too bitter
I do long infusions for tisanes
Drink tea and pray daily
all others maybe 90 seconds to 2 minutes several times
It is a controversy with the tea geeks lol!!!
No doubt
I love the salacious click-bait title "Infusion Controversy!" lol
I'd say three to six minutes tops, and, yes, definitely reuse tea leaves.
Depends on the category of tea. I would never do six minutes on a green or white or yellow unless you wanna have pucker face. Lol.
Yes, I want pucker face!
Bring it. Lol.
Interesting the water temperature question. Where I live, at altitude, water boils at 199F/200F.
I go low in minutes and low in temp
I leave the tea leaves in the pot until the pot is empty. To me it's a joke to leave the tea in for just 1 minute.
