@@CVVLin Sage Mode could probably detect the regular (non world bisection) slashes tbh. We see Maki able to perceive them.

That applies to most characters in fiction, Take away their strongest ability and they'd be a lot weaker. Like if Madara or Sauske didn't have Susanoo, Or Naruto didn't have the 9 tails, Or Goku without Transformations, Or God forbit someone like luffy without his devil fruit powers 💀

But if you go back and look at how dialogue boxes are portrayed for characters and the narrator you will find that only the narrator has pure rectangular boxes and no one else. i even went back and looked at pandas boxes and they are not the same.
