Thanks for this tutorial but I'll like to ask , do you have a video of when you attached it to the the skirt part? If you don't then please tell us if we want to add it to the skirt part are we going to attach the underlay to the skirt part

Beautiful ma. Did u sew on the boning when attaching the underlay and please ma did u put the boning on the two sides. Thanks for sharing your knowledge u are a born teacher
Thanks a lot,but please can't we stitch the other end and fix zipper at the lower part? Is it compulsory to use a bony if the front part is just straight bustier and not corset?
Definitely, there's a zipper on the lower part( the skirt), you can also use bonning for ordinary bustier, not only corsets, but the choice is all yours.
Well done ma, thank you for this tutorial. Plss ma I have a question. If we are going to join it to the skirt, how is it going to be easy for the person to put it on n even do we put d zip at the back also, bcus of the hook n nice. Thank u ma, God bless you 🙏🙏
The problem is that the bone channel is bigger than the bone, so you need to measure the width of the bone, and use the SAME measurements to create the bone channel, but the ones you have done already , you can get a matching thread and tack both sides of bones on several points with hand needle, but make sure the thread is not visible.

You can't use press button cos it will eventually loose up cos CORSET is always firm on the body.

Thanks ma
Please ma how do we attach it to a dress
Detailed tutorial. Pls, how many inches is the width of the underlay?
Underlay width is 8"
@@YinkyCouture Thank you for your prompt response. You are the best.
but you cut out 2 inches on the pattern , how come you are replacing it with 8inches ma. won't it affect d real measurement?
Thank u ma,please how many inches did you cut out for the underlay
I started from the pattern drafting of the back block for better understanding, just add two inches to the underlay pattern while cutting on fabric
Please ma is there any special way to insert the bones?
Yes , cos the bones has 2 different sides. You must use the side that will align with the body shape
How do u add zipper to the down part
Mamaa u didn't teach us how to join the skirt part with zip zip
That will be a tutorial for another day
