This is great I'm going to try it😊. Just one suggestion, instead of measuring from shoulder, tie a ribbon around your waist and measure from waist up. Measuring from shoulder can be inaccurate because you are choosing the starting point from an invisible line.
I made this yesterday for a client and I'm really impressed on how precise and beautifully shaped this pattern is! Can you share with me where did you learn that pattern drafting method? It seems so interesting, easy and detailed
Hi and thanks for the feedback and wonderful words 🙏 I'm glad the video helped you. I learned most things at university, then worked for a long time in a fashion studio. Now I have mine and I keep working and decided that I could share what I learned with the videos
This video stands head and shoulders above all others imho because most people can copy a detailed pattern from a drafting book and not really understand why this and why that but THIS video gives the viewer an UNDERSTANDING as to WHY the lines go the way they do, it joins ALL the dots of UNDERSTANDING to take flat pattern making to the Human 3D Form and it's absolutely amazing to say the very least. I've been drafting from books for some time and creating clothes BUT even I've a much better understanding of viewing the drafted flat pattern as if it's on the mannequin like reverse engineering the whole concept and I'm ever so grateful for this video and the time you have taken to share, much gratitude, have a blessed week
Margarita you are the best! I did try to make this pattern few months ago! And couldn’t do it , I was ready to understand complexity of it. Today is my happy day thank you so much for you knowledge and your clear explanation 😂❤🎉 God will continue blessing you and to your love 💗one’s. From the Bay Island 🏝️ 🇭🇳!
God bless you 🙏 so with pattern drafting and your sewing classes i can sit at home and make a complete dress without missing noting God bless you so much ma'am.
Gracias! 🙌🏻 este patrón no es complicado. He visto muchos videos que la copa la forman con pinzas todo alrededor! Y veo que tú no lo necesitas hacer, queda perfecto!
Thank you so much for this amazing video, the best I have seen on DIY bustier pattern making. Please can you instruct me on how I can change the two bottom cup to form just one. Thanks
So much thankful for you!!! A lot of thanks and love to you for this awesome and very friendly beginner video!! 🥰🥰🥰 I was looking for a video like this for days and suddenly i found yours in front of me God bless you! 🥰🥰
You r just incredible I searched fully youtube to find video like this n then your video came by chance. M glad that I watched this video very to the end and find it so useful so. Gracefully you teach us the whole pattern. I have a small req please make all cup size video. N how to understand the size of breast and how to cut and stitch too. Your one video is enough for me. Lotzzz of love from 🇮🇳. Please make this video to understand the size and how to cut n stitch cup sizes. ❤️. I want to make my bridal lehnga for my wedding
Hello and thank you for the wonderful words❤️ Thanks also for the feedback. I am currently working on a new video, but I am considering making a video for more bustier and cups size, because I understand from the comments that someone is having difficulty. And I will try to do it as soon as possible, I promise
Thank you for the tutorial!☺️ Should I add half the bust separation at 2:00 or the entire? Because it looked like you used half but you didn't write half🙈 this is my first time making and using a pattern🙈
I love how you deliver your tutorial! Can I ask, after cutting the pattern pieces, do I still need to add seam allowance on the pattern when I'm cutting the actual fabric?
Love how clearly explain this was! Very helpful on my end, however I was wondering what you meant by 1/4 bust and 1/4 waist? Do I take my bust line measurement and divide it by 4? If you could respond that would be really appreciated!
Une méthode très cool et facile à comprendre, nous espérons que vous partagerez avec nous différents types de cette tenue de la même manière. Merci شكراً 🌹
Thankyou so much for this channel. I've been searching for this kind of bustier making video. Suddenly, youtube direct me to the one of your video and it helps me much. I'm so grateful for you. Keep on doing such a inspirational video. I already subscribed your channel without any hesitation. Love from Indonesia🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩.
Thank you so much for this, it was really easy to follow! Please i’d like to know what the “seam side”(the line after the “over the bust” line) is for and how to adjust it according to my measurements.
Hi thank you for this wonderful tutorial.i am so glad that you use cm,cause i always work with cm,so it was very easy to follow.1 question tho.what is that measurment at 1:22?
What did you mean by "add 1/4 bust"? Take the full bust measurement and divide it by 4? it is easier to follow than most patterns, but I could use some more explanation of where some of these measurements come from. I followed as best I could, and I was off on things but kind of found a way to make it work. I'm still new to pattern making for my body size and type.
Hello, you understood correctly, divide the measure by 4 because divide the drawing into 4 parts, 2 front and 2 back. At the beginning of the video, I show how I take the necessary measures
First of all thank you for this video it's incredible, so helpful! I just have a little problem, my bust width is way larger than the 1/4 bust measurement... how exactly am I suppose to adjust that ? :(
Hey can you please upload this type of videos with voice because it was superb but I got some confusion without voice with taking measurements but it was completely good thanks I am hopping more video sides you ❤
Hello! Thank you for this tutorial is amazing! I have only few questions about the meaning because I am Italian and I had to translate: 1/4 waist is the measure of entire waist divided by four right? The front side dart is half of the entire waist line or half of the measure of 1/4 waist + 3 cm? Thank you so much
Let me help to answer your question😊 1. Yes, measurement of the entire waist divided by four 2. Yes, 1/4 of waist +3cm, then divide it by 2 to find the middle point
Hi! Thank you for the tutorial! My issue is that if i add my full bust width, it is larger than the 1/4 bust I marked earlier and thus larger than the dart. How do I draw the cup of the top? Thank you !
I loved your slow pace tutorial. I can now understand every step of the way to create a pattern for any size and make a perfect bust garment. ❤
This is great I'm going to try it😊.
Just one suggestion, instead of measuring from shoulder, tie a ribbon around your waist and measure from waist up. Measuring from shoulder can be inaccurate because you are choosing the starting point from an invisible line.

Hi thank you for this wonderful tutorial.i am so glad that you use cm,cause i always work with cm,so it was very easy to follow.1 question tho.what is that measurment at 1:22?
This is the height of the side seam, measured from the waist up
@@margaritafashionstudio405 thank you
@@margaritafashionstudio405 from the waist up to where? Sorry
First you mark 1/4 bust, connect with the waist. Along the resulting line from the waist up, mark the height of the side seam.

For the 2: half of 1/4 waist + 3

my waist is 90cm

not 25cm, but 22,5cm of course ...
