    Fantastic song. I used to struggle with understanding what people meant when they said a person's guitar playing had "feeling," "emotion," or "soul." Your music makes it crystal clear. Vocals aren't needed when the music itself is powerful enough to make you feel something deep inside. Keep rocking, Angel!

    • @homo.stellaris
      @homo.stellaris 9 лет назад +1

      ***** Hey man I'm really glad you said that because it's how I felt about your music and I'll listen to it even more closely now. I find notes often evoke emotions in me as powerful as any words can. In fact some of the most emotional vocals I've ever heard are ones in which they just use their voice as an instrument, like sorrowful oohs and bluesy aahs. I don't know if you've ever heard the scream solo in the interlude of Deftones - Knife Party? There are no words, but it's haunting as shit.
      I'd just like to ask you if I may: is your intention as an artist to instil your songs with specific meanings? Or do you prefer for them to be open to interpretation? Without words it will always be more the latter, but I often wonder what the artist was thinking and feeling when they penned their songs.

    • @homo.stellaris
      @homo.stellaris 9 лет назад +1

      Cool man I hear what your saying, it's mine to interpret as I wish then! That analogy of trying to communicate with a foreign person is nice.
      I think you can also take it further, because sometimes you meet people from other cultures and you see they have dreams, regrets, victories, defeats, heart break and happiness like anybody else, they're just like you or I. It gives you that warm fuzzy feeling to know you are far from alone in this world; we're all comrades in this crazy life together.
      A similar thing happens when you listen to music. When you connect with it, even just the general idea, it's through a shared experience between you and the artist.
      Anyway man, thanks for taking the time to speak to your fans, I notice you replying a lot in the comments and it's really cool of you. I've only recently discovered your music but I'm having a bit of a honeymoon with it atm, favourites so far are '..___' and 'Martian Winter', dat outro... It's so freaking epic :')
      Peace!

      Singing is in notation and they are also singing music with what they do. So a guitar having emotion and phrasing like a singer sometimes is totally legit.

      +Angel Vivaldi I'll refer you to "A Martian Winter", 3:05 to 3:15. He may not be a machine, but he is definitely not human. I'd challenge you to watch this video with the following context. The male character represents us, the fans. Elizabeth is the dream of professional musicianship. Your band is the alien spaceship at the end. Your music keeps us going, but in the end we're simply not worthy. Yeah, it's like that...

    Jumped on your site and got Away with Words immediately after hearing .____ . No regrets at all.
    Your music is something truly unique - the way you compose them and blend leads with rhythm guitars, and use chorus and verse structures, makes your music both accessible, and gives a feeling of an organic composition.
    It's completely different from other instrumental acts, whose output feels a bit too much like the artists just showing off their technical skills.
    What I love of your music is your ability to use your skill to convey emotion, AND to create uniquely powerful composition. I've been listening to Universal Language while swimming, and every time I feel like I could traverse the oceans.
    thank you for sharing the universes you create with your music with us. People like you make this life worth going through.

    Great to see musicians who put some effort into their music videos,I know it's not easy,specially if you haven't a major label behind. Oh and the music isn't too shabby either. ;-)

      what i think this song is ab is the overwhelming isolation one feels when a loved one is lost. Only occured to me when my grandmother died and i was watching this video.
