Q: What are your sepcs
A: My CPU Is an AMD Fx 8350 with 8 cores, I have 32 gigs of DDR3 RAM and a 2 Terabytes Haddrive at 7200rpm. and two monitors. one small one and a 40 inch.
Q: What do you use to record?
A:Bandicam along with AMD APP Acceleration
Q: Why does X Stage run so much worse on your rig even though it's a beast of a machine?
A: Well because of two issues. how AMD CPU split up their cores into groups so 8 cores on AMD CPU Would be four groups of 2 cores and groups can't work as fast. aslo AMD Their Driver overhead is alot bigger then Nvidia so simple requests from the driver eat up alot more processing power. some games just don't like AMD CPU"S
Q: Will you cover my mod?
A;Yes I don't have any criteria for covering mods really, but please don't show me mod that is super unfinished and doesn't play well or performs badly. don't take some unfinished geometry stick into GLVL and add objects and call it a mod. I won't waste my time covering it then.
Q:Do you cover fangames
A:uhhhhhh,... yes? but they don't interest me all that much. no disrespect to the creator but a ton of em just don't feel or control right in my option. I covered Sonic VS Darkness because it's amazing.

A: yup of course! i'm always open just find me at the addresses listed in the description aaaand i'll get back to ya! J-jus don't use google's tagging system or youtube PM's. I rarely get those.

Even with only daytime Sonic this stage still took 11 min

Even generations' levels are too short

I miss Jason Griffith so much.
I feel Ryan Drummond and Jason Griffith both understood how Sonic should sound. Roger Craig Smith (while a good voice actor in his own right) made Sonic sound more like Smith himself than an iteration of Drummond/Griffith Sonic, and I've never been a fan of that.
here's the thing though it's not his fault, it's sega that wants that direction and the director has to make sure Roger Follows
@@MarioTainaka He sounds morr like an nasal asshole now. That's not Sonic's character at all. Cocky and Asshole-ish are two very different things.

This actually works. Instead of having 2D sections fill in the space so developers don't have to make 100 mile levels, just have shorter segments like the revamped night sections here. 3D combat/platforming and then the super fast 3D/2D boost sections.
as much as many people (including myself) hated how "loose" unleashed sonic controlled, i think those loose controls were much more realistic for such high speeds than in generations

I swear to god... If Sonic Unleashed had no Werehog it would be the most praised game of the series. And this long final daytime Stage would be epic instead of tideous
Nigel Lievaart The werehog isn't even that bad, I found it fun. This is why Sega isn't able to experiment anymore because no one wants anything new, but then when they do something that works people want the old style and when they do that people still complain
Ikr, when sega adds something new, everyone complains, saying the old style was better. Then, when sega brings back the old style, fans call them lazy, saying they do nothing different. This is the problem with the sonic fanbase. You literally cannot please them.
Naren Minecraft Adventures it depends how you define new. Beat them up gameplay is not something you should add to sonic. Its like putting platforming sections in racing game
What's wrong with the werehog? I mean I liked the werehog and the night mode., but you make a good point. But really, what's wrong with the werehog?

They did it. They actually fixed the egg man land mod perfectly.
But I thought classic sonic was gonna do the night shift.
Unpopular opinion but i loved the werehog, it was a fun addition in my book since i love the hack and slash energy from it. But without it seems to make eggmanland a whole lot easier. Incredible playing skills btw.
i just played this and gave up at the werehog replaced sections. Using the unleashed physics was a terrible mistake. he slides everywhere. Absolutely no traction

I recommend to use Blaze the Cat mod. She isn't affected by Sonic Unleashed physics :)
I still don't understand why people thought this level was too hard to beat. I mean sure, it was difficult, but not hard enough to take days to beat or just to give up entirely. The only absurd thing about this level was the amount of time it took to beat, but that just made the end game more climatic for me.
Man, these guys did a great job converting the nighttime parts to the Modern Sonic gameplay.

setting up the audio for that cutscene took 3 days. it's not that hard tbh.. you just gotta get used to the SU physics that come with this mod

Werehog's segments werent the only hassle with this stage. It was the goddamn camerawork too that made the platforming very misjudging and hard to gauge at some points with pipes and whatnot.
Is it only me that LOVES eggmanland? Probably my fav sonic area ever

7 Min: the spinners got me, they're insta death if you get to close when you get hit. I miss calculated the dash rangs
9 Mins: kinda hard to control sonic when you initiate the light dash, in unleashed they made up for it by making it slow but here you go at full speed

I'm guessing it wasn't feasible to just stitch together all the regular Sonic parts? This is still impressive, but those sections meant for the werehog end up being super awkward even with the adjustments made.
it isn't really doable you'd have to re-arrange the geometry and re import it and redo the collision.

Is it just me, or is the boost gauge for Generations shorter than the gauge for Unleashed when maxed out?
It's shorter but drains slower. Also this is the default gauge. I didn't equip any skills

Welp, now I know what slowed me down in Unleashed XD.

Hey mario, I'm trying to mod this into the unleashed project to replace the apotos intro stage (which is currently using planet wisp's slot.) It should be pretty straight forward and I've isolated all the crucial files, but for some reason GenArcEd can't access #SystemCommon.ar.00 and #Application.ar.00, two very important files that I would need to edit as you probably know. Any idea why?
Looking at it further, I can't acces the #ghz files to edit the stage's scene effect either. When I open it with GenArcEd its blank.
I tried asking N64 too but he hasn't answered in a few weeks.
the AR files are locked to prevent stealing or modifying. also if you replace the xml files for #SystemCommon And #Application the UP stages won't work as intended.

As much as I love the daytime sections, it would be awesome to see werehog gameplay modded in, if that's possible.

Tons of playthroughs of the original, and beta testing and playing through this one alot.
Alot of people struggling with it because they're really hasty.

It's just a modified snowboard from city escape :)
The sleigh is much better here because its less slippery

Variable FPS, means that the game doesn't reach 60FPS all the time.
