If you are still in Singapore, catch the firework display at 8pm along the Waterfront Promenade, Esplanade. Okay, that's where the Merlion is. The firework is part of the rehearsal for Singapore's National Day, and it happens every Saturday till the actual day on 9th August.
Such a beautiful sparkly spot .. my daughter just got back from Singapore and didn't even go to a Hawker centre.. she doesn't know what she missed out on 🥢🥟🫕🌿🌺🥰😍
Yes clarke quay is pronounced like a "key" the place actually looks much better at night. Oh no hopefully u didnt miss out on the famous Fort Canning Tree Tunnel while u're there.. glad u enjoying my country ❤
You need to go to the marina bay barge from June 15th to August the 9th. On August the 9th is our independence Day. We have fighter jets and fireworks every Saturday from June 15th till August the 9th. It is so beautiful. Singapore is the best country in the world. You love Singapore.
@@JacobandJennyTravel The best view is right across marina bay sands and at the front . You have to be there at 4.30 pm. And on August the 9th, you have to be at 2 pm. It is so beautiful, you love Singapore.
Hello I’m Singaporean here. Thanks for making a video about our country. For food please visit geylang. You should definitely try the gongbao frog leg, the beef horfun. There are so many food you haven’t tried it. I was following your Finland tour and saw you came Singapore. Have great fun.
That is so cool and we will have to try those dishes. Thank you so much for following along on our travels in Finland and Singapore :) we appreciate it so much.
Hope you guys roam around the city and beyond. Take the bus or mrt rides and self tour around the island safely. Go to the heartlands like tampibes or jurobg east or paya lebar etc. so many hawker centres and foodies to explore. Go sentosa haji lane botanical gardens zoo or nature parks like henderson waves. Enjoy!
You can buy drinks/dinner at the Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool at the CeLaVie restaurant and get the same view for the same price as the observatory platform.
Welcome back! I missed Jenny's bright personality. The hawker centre u ate at has a nice carrot cake which is actually a savoury dish made.with rice flour n radish. There is lots of.nature to stroll in which r relatively safe, not real jungle. Just don't carry plastic bags cuz monkeys think there's food n grab them !
So glad you enjoyed it :) I believe it changes on the day so it is best to check on the websites for accurate times! Just search for super trees light show time or marina bay sands water show time!
welcome back. were you at malaysia previously? other than changi airport, we have another airport (seletar airport) with flight to/from malaysia KL subang airport. an alternative entry point should you come back for a third time. (there is nothing to do at seletar airport though, unlike changi airport)
I noticed that at 1:00, you took both a fork and a spoon to eat the plate of rice. I was having high hopes about that. However, when I saw that you ate the rice dish with just a fork from 1:05 to 1:14, my heart sank. So I have a challenge that I want to suggest to the both of you, try eating all the rice dishes with a spoon instead of the fork. You will notice it is easier to eat rice with a spoon than with a fork. The functions of the fork and spoon in Singapore Fork - Used to push rice and ingredients into the spoon, as well as used to hold down any meat on the plate for the purpose of biting with your mouth or cutting down to smaller pieces. Spoon - The main cutlery used for eating. It is used as a knife to cut down or pull apart the meat into smaller pieces for easier consumption, used for bringing the ingredients and rice from the plate to your mouth and used to bring soup from the soup bowl to your mouth.
Welcome back! We're definitely thrilled to have you guys back again 😍
It is great to be back! Thank you :)

Local coffee called kopi is by default local coffee with condensed milk (but most will add a dash of evaporated milk)
That is great to know! Thanks :)
There’s a little gate at the back of the fort gates where you can head to the top of the fort.

For the Gong Bao chicken rice, don’t have to eat the chill. It’s too spicy and I’m not sure we should eat it. Thanks for the video.
It's just personal preference. I eat it with the chicken it's very fragrant.
