Alycia Hall that's exactly what I thought when I clicked on the video. I thought it was strange that she was already wearing foundation at the beginning... then I realized she wasn't wearing any
Lauren Chin I've been trying this "whitening deodorant" for two weeks now and I haven't seen any difference :'( Hoping when she reviews this that it's a good product
Silisponge actually saves you money from buying products over and over. Use the silisponge first when applying foundation so that the product won't be sucked in and you can spread out all the foundation that is pumped out so you can save more of your foundation and it will last longer because more foundation is wasted not on your face but sucked by beautyblenders. Use the beautyblender to blend in the products or if you used too much products because if you use a beautyblender to spread out your foundation, it sucks in your foundation and you have to buy more often.
I respect how honest Tina is with her reviews. She is pretty straight forward and gives honest opinions which is what you want when you are watching first impressions/ product reviews
Oh wow I have an unused silicone heel insert that is almost the same shape as the silisponge! I'm definitely going to try this out and try and use up less foundation :D
Fouloul I agree all these fads are overkill....I mean I understand not wanting to use sponges or brushes but my best weapon of choice will always be my hands! People are silly with these trends🤣🤣🤣
Actually, it saves you money because beautyblenders tend to suck up some products which causes you to buy products more often. Here's how you use it, use the silisponge first when applying foundation so that the product won't be sucked in and you can spread out all the foundation that is pumped out so you can save more of your foundation and it will last longer because more foundation are wasted not on your face but sucked by beautyblenders. Use the beautyblender to blend in the products or if you used too much products because if you use a beautyblender to spread out your foundation, it sucks in your foundation.
Phileene Peagch thank you! Tina said you have to use a sponge or brush to blend it when I say waste of money I mean you have to use two things to blend out your foundation like what's the point of buying a silisponge then having to blend it out using something else you get me? I rather use a brush or beauty blender it's the same finish if not use your fingers
Nicole Garay I actually got 2 of the tear drop silisponges (one blue and one purple) for less than $2 and I like them pretty well ^_^ Mainly because I don't accidentally use too much foundation (it looks cakey sometimes even after blending with a sponge) and it's easier to clean... which is a plus for me since I have a little bit of OCD and hate cleaning Beauty blenders all the time haha 😅
Totally agree, very interesting concept, but it really needs to be an oval with a tip like a beauty blender so you can get under the eyes and all the other nooks and crannies.
It's her honest opinion on the video, she's not going give it positive reviews just because everyone else is saying posting stuff. Also she used it correctly, the company said to swipe on foundation then pounce it in just like she did. If u don't like her honest review then don't watch.
YourGirlGiaa the only thing I'd say is I've seen the silisponge work better with dotting foundation on your skin and having less foundation because it's easier to blend out instead of using your normal amount so she might've had a better result with the sponge if she did that! Still an awkward shape and Bit of a hype
She's actually not the only one. NikkiTutorials and Tati both don't really like it or think it's practical...but I have seen more positive reviews than negative. It all comes down to how they're applying the foundation and how much product they're using. Everyone will have a different experience and opinion.
I hate when you tubers don't read the actual instructions. Doesn't it say to swipe and then pat it in? I know that you ended up doing that, but only after first saying how it was streaky after swiping it.
Gail Lurie she was seeing if you can swipe with it, it's good to experiment when trying out products which is helpful for other people who maybe were wondering.
NNC yes I know but not reading the actual instructions, and reading them to us in the video, doesn't even give the product a chance. At least use it like it's intended to be used before giving a negative opinion.
NNC here are the actual instructions: HOW TO USE Take suitable amount of cream/liquid product and go in circular motions or back and forth to spread. Tap repeatedly to blend and settle.
Instuctions are good but for a review video i like to people not only do it the way you are told but also i'm curious to see what happens if you swipe vs pat to see what the result would be. seeing the difference is helpful than just reading it.
FINALLY someone who actually uses the original product and not only the ''dupe'' like, you can't judge a product by what others say is similar! love you Tina
I literally just bought/pre-ordered one of these today (they're on sale for $9.90 and free shipping with no tracking). I'm pretty excited to try it out and see what happens. I know a lot of people who haven't liked it, I've noticed, have used too much product on it so it didn't really sit or blend well...but I've seen videos where they've used a small amount of product and it looks perfect. It makes sense because too much product can cause streaking or a non-flawless finish. I also feel like Tina may have used a bit too much for one side of her face...that's the amount someone used and spread over both sides and it came out flawless. That's probably why she needed to finish with the sponge because the sponge will absorb all the excess product that was layered on the skin. LoL I can't wait to use it for myself and see how it goes ^_^
Do you have a video on how to do this eye makeup look? I was absolutely in love with it! I have hooded eyes much like yours and your eyes looked so big and beautiful! I'd love to try and recreate it.
+Gucci❤Mademoiselle yes they're glue on ones from empress tips. You can find them on Instagram. I've had them on for three days no and only one fell off but I re-stuck it on
LillyIsSoSilly yeah after lol but the instructions for the sponge tell you that you have to tap it to blend it & she was acting like she was the one that decided tapping it would work better 😂😂 she obviously didn't read up much about it before making a video about it
I want to see the arm-pit brighten/whiten! In regard to the Sili blender, I think I be able to find a cheap pair of those gel-heels to use. It would be great to save on foundation!
I think it is pretty worthy, regardless if you use an alternative or the silicone sponge. You used half of the foundation you would have used with a beauty blender. In a long term you will be saving money, specially if you use high end foundation. The only inconvenient is that you have to Wash it, however that wont take you longer than 30 seconds. This is just my opinion. Btw excuse my english.
2016 has been such a wild ride. We grieved worldwide for a gorilla, Castro died, Donald Trump was elected president, we were able to catch Pokemon, and now we can apply makeup with fake tittie inserts. What will happen in 2017!!
On their website they hav a video showing how to use it, which is to spread it around first then dab in into the skin after. You can get a airbrush finish without using a different tool afterwards. Jeffree Star did a video on this product too, and he used it correctly. His final look was flawless.
Hi Tina I just wanted to say that I love your channel and ever since I came across one of your videos, I cannot wait to see what you upload next. Your personality also is full of light and humor and makes the most of your videos. Keep up the good work and keep doing what you love because you are good at it. 👌😁
I use a glove I started this week I've commented the same thing on Tati's channel because I want people to know it doesn't absorb products and it can be stained bit you know what it's very nice to use you fingers without it actually touching the product I hope people know! 💜❄🐼
Another thing about the silisponge is the product it is made of. while a bra insert is a cheaper alternative it is going to cost you more in the long run when your face begins to break out or you get sick from the chemicals in it.
I believe it says that you can finish off the application with a Beautyblender or oval brush because the product was made to resuce the amount of foundation used.
It seems like it's a good idea to use the silicon for putting your makeup base on first, then using either your blender or brush for that finishing touch. I like the idea of not having to use a ton of base..
I just bought the high heel pad today before looking your video and I was trying it out while watching it. So surprised we have the same idea😃 The pad works pretty good, I only paid 2.38 USD for a pair. It really saved a lot of foundation. I think I will use it more everyday.
Tina Yong I think at first I need to sweep the foundation on roughly, then pat on like beautyblender. It definitely cannot be a perfect alternative for beautyblender, but it worth to use sometimes to save product.
Hello! On the silisponge website it says you are supposed to tap it into the skin. For the nose and under eye part of the face, it's easier when you roll it around your finger like you did with the nipple cover. Thanks for rating cheaper alternative items that do the same job.
Hey Tina, thanks for trying out the product. The sili sponge doesn't seem to blur anything out, nor do the other tools. You could see the blurring effect as soon as you started patting with your beauty blender... For the next Tina tries it, I'd pick the matcha hand mask :). Have a nice week.
I struggle with conserving foundation. Not sure if this would be a solution but certainly will look into like products. I would love to see the hand mask, please.
I really wanted to bite the silicon thing idk why
Buttercuppyow it reminds me of that water cake!
+Buttercuppyow maybe because it's really squishy
Buttercuppyow I'd hate to have you around my chicken fillets then lol😜
It reminds me of a baby teething thing xD
same :')
If I had your skin, I'd never wear makeup.
Alycia Hall that's exactly what I thought when I clicked on the video. I thought it was strange that she was already wearing foundation at the beginning... then I realized she wasn't wearing any
_sindonurie _ ppl shouldn't wear make up anyway unless they want unhealthy skin only once and a while
@@malikawan6705 pple shouldnt but self esteem problem can b solved
I'd really love to see the under arm lightener next!!! Been thinking of getting a product like that to buy but didn't know if they worked
Same!!
Grace B i have that problem and my solution has just been to wear thick deodorant every day. and it has considerable lighted up in about a week.
Lauren Chin I've been trying this "whitening deodorant" for two weeks now and I haven't seen any difference :'( Hoping when she reviews this that it's a good product
We will find out if it works in the next episode!
Tina Yong yay thank you!!
Yeah you can use it to spread the foundation out on your face first then buff it in with a brush or sponge. The extra step will save you foundation
YOUR BACKGROUND AND YOUR NAILS!!!! omg!!!
+Nadine Felice hehe glad you noticed!
Nadine Felice oh yeah they are similar
I feel like the silisponge leaves too much foundation just sitting on top of your skin
bri y since it doesn't absorbed the product it leaves it as it is. Also it's because she adds a lot of foundation (in my opinion)
Sakura Vlogs yeah, Jeffree Star loved it in the review he made, and he used half of the foundation than normal, and he dabs the silisponge like crazy
M.nalatgn Fnaf I literally on occasion use a tinted moisturizer other that that I use concealer eye shadow highlight and maybe blush/contour
I have the same exact concealer as her and I normally only use half a pump for my whole face. She used way too much.
M.nalatgn Fnaf ikr
i never miss any of your tina tries it i loved them 🙌
btw living for that back drop 😻
+xocvrmen thank you so much! 😁
xocvrmen so do you think se or i do
Tina Yong you are my favorite. When I'm having a bad day I come home and watch you
I respect how honest Tina is with her reviews. She is pretty straight forward and gives honest opinions which is what you want when you are watching first impressions/ product reviews
I guess it shouldn't be called Silisponge but Silly-sponge!
Oh, yes, Caitlyn who r u, I sure get that idea... but do you get what I say?
Fancylooks i'll give you 2 laughs. for support. HAHA.
Thanks, Sophia!
Fancylooks Lol 😂
Xd that's funny! 😂😂😂😂
Oh wow I have an unused silicone heel insert that is almost the same shape as the silisponge! I'm definitely going to try this out and try and use up less foundation :D
+bugbuddy yeah try it out! If it's the smooth one it'll work just like the silisponge
Tina you're very pretty in this video. Your skin looks very healthy and dewy ❤
Angel Andrade I Agee Angel, i think Tina's skin looked greatv 👍🏻
Adele Rae Collins yeah me too! ❤ i love her!
Angel Andrade yes she has very beautiful skin
Angel Andrade she is beautiful
Angel Andrade lll
in the future we will just use plastic bags wrapped around our fingers😂
Or just our fingers!
Fouloul I agree all these fads are overkill....I mean I understand not wanting to use sponges or brushes but my best weapon of choice will always be my hands! People are silly with these trends🤣🤣🤣
JNN and i bet they will sell those plastics 20 dollars
The 5 minute crafts ppl used a damn inflated balloon as a beauty blender
Someone showed using the inside of a fluffy heeled sock in place of a sponge beauty blender
The silisponge is a waste of money if you have to use a brush or beauty blender to blend out the foundation
Nicole Garay You dont she just didnt apply it right
Actually, it saves you money because beautyblenders tend to suck up some products which causes you to buy products more often. Here's how you use it, use the silisponge first when applying foundation so that the product won't be sucked in and you can spread out all the foundation that is pumped out so you can save more of your foundation and it will last longer because more foundation are wasted not on your face but sucked by beautyblenders. Yes but that's why the product was made because it says that "It is ideal for people who don't like messy fingers during makeup" :)

Everytime she says silisponge I think she says sillysponge
princessaina aina I thought that's what it was haha
BellaLiamsi me too 😂
princessaina aina english subscribe translate it as silly sponge :)
i thought she said spongebob
princessaina aina I didn't know that it is sili not silly until you made it clear 😂😂
why did u buff the bra insert and glide the silisponge across your face... please do another review of this using properly plz
ps: u r the only person with a negative reply 😢
It's her honest opinion on the video, she's not going give it positive reviews just because everyone else is saying posting stuff. Also she used it correctly, the company said to swipe on foundation then pounce it in just like she did. If u don't like her honest review then don't watch.

NNC hi, I saw yesterday the same review but used correctly by a famous you tuber. he is Jeffrey Star and his new video was about the cilisponge.
you guys should watch jeffreestar video about these silicon sponge!!
heeja young yes!
heeja young I completely agree!! There are instructions to how to properly use the silisponge and he got a FLAWLESS look
heeja young I bought it after watching his review he actually had an idea on wtf to do with the sponge
it looks good and is way more hygenic .
I think the nipple cover did better than the silly sponge. BOOBIEBLENDERS FOR THE WIN!
FINALLY someone who actually uses the original product and not only the ''dupe'' like, you can't judge a product by what others say is similar! love you Tina
Omg do matcha milk hand wax please
Oh my! You are so quick in getting your hands on trending beauty product! x love ya
Tina I would love love you to try this new tooth paste that is charcoal, I know it is not beauty but I want to know if it works. Thanks

Can I ask if your nails are glue ons and if so, where did you get them? Super cute!
+Gucci❤Mademoiselle yes they're glue on ones from empress tips. You can find them on Instagram. I've had them on for three days no and only one fell off but I re-stuck it on

CuteCupCake xx ayyyy
You're supposed to tap it to blend it not smear it around ....
LillyIsSoSilly yeah after lol but the instructions for the sponge tell you that you have to tap it to blend it & she was acting like she was the one that decided tapping it would work better 😂😂 she obviously didn't read up much about it before making a video about it
raeannelizabethh ohhhh k
still a shitty product
I want to see the arm-pit brighten/whiten! In regard to the Sili blender, I think I be able to find a cheap pair of those gel-heels to use. It would be great to save on foundation!
Silicone sponge?! So it's not a sponge? Cause it's silicone! I cannot hahhahahha

hey tina, i watched other reviews on the silicone makeup sponge and you're suppose to dab it in like how you would with a beauty blener
next thing u know we're gonna use nail files to exfoliate our lips
Thesyamonster 07 that's a FANTASTIC idea!😱😑
Thesyamonster 07 😂
I think it is pretty worthy, regardless if you use an alternative or the silicone sponge. You used half of the foundation you would have used with a beauty blender. The hand wax! It sounds so interesting. I wonder if it's green colored.
Yes yes yes! Finally!!! I was dying for this review!! But a comparison with a beauty blender would have been great!
What makes the sponge so silly?
silicone😂
Nori what makes the cone so silly?
she didn't say silly she shortened (?) the word silicone and said "silli-sponge" (sorry for my english I'm german)
민트초코 'twas a joke
Joanna T.Rex oh lol but I agree with you if you wanted to say that the "silli-sponge" is silly
2016 has been such a wild ride. We grieved worldwide for a gorilla, Castro died, Donald Trump was elected president, we were able to catch Pokemon, and now we can apply makeup with fake tittie inserts. What will happen in 2017!!
Carli DeLoach omg lol Ikr 2016 is the craziest year for me.

+Jimena García you can buy benefit at most department stores and sephora. I'm not sure about colorpop though cause they're online
Tina Yong thank you so much, i really love you and your channel, try the armpit thing! love from mexico ❤️❤️❤️
maybe you have to use less foundation seeing as the silicone doesn't absorb anything as the beauty blender would.
Which is faster? This, the beautyblender or a buffing brush?
beautyblender.
I use a glove I started this week I've commented the same thing on Tati's channel because I want people to know it doesn't absorb products and it can be stained bit you know what it's very nice to use you fingers without it actually touching the product I hope people know! 💜❄🐼
and it's not alot of money I buy like a pack for a dollar or two and I get like 10 to 20 of them so
Farhana Syed interesting...something to keep in mind
like latex/silicone gloves?
+justme Na the ones that are regular like clear Nd stretchy
LOVE THE BACKDROP TINA!!!!
Matcha milk hand mask! =D Thank you Tina!!!
Another thing about the silisponge is the product it is made of. while a bra insert is a cheaper alternative it is going to cost you more in the long run when your face begins to break out or you get sick from the chemicals in it.
Tina: "I'm not in love with the shape of this"
Me: we don't push and pull with a magnet do
Hi, interesting video. I'd be interested in the hand mask please? Thanks x
I love how she points to herself in the beginning of the video😅😅
your skin looks AMAZING without foundation oh my god♥♥
I want to see both the arm pit brightener and the hand wax please.
under arm lightner please! I've been looking for one that works!
I love you Tina! Love from Philippines 😙
I believe it says that you can finish off the application with a Beautyblender or oval brush because the product was made to resuce the amount of foundation used.

Tae Tae probably. tbh I don't think its worth it. (ps. armys everywhere)
adeena6 yep we are everywhere
Daeily Me hello fellow army lolol
Legit I saw so many Army's on this video comment section alone lol
It seems like it's a good idea to use the silicon for putting your makeup base on first, then using either your blender or brush for that finishing touch. I like the idea of not having to use a ton of base..
I just bought the high heel pad today before looking your video and I was trying it out while watching it. So surprised we have the same idea😃 The pad works pretty good, I only paid 2.38 USD for a pair. It really saved a lot of foundation. I think I will use it more everyday.
+Charlene Wang wow yours is much cheaper than mine! It does save you foundation. How did you find the blending?
Tina Yong I think at first I need to sweep the foundation on roughly, then pat on like beautyblender. It definitely cannot be a perfect alternative for beautyblender, but it worth to use sometimes to save product.
Can you do a makeup tutorial on this look? I love this look.
U used the wrong side of the silly sponge ...
Hello! On the silisponge website it says you are supposed to tap it into the skin.
For the nose and under eye part of the face, it's easier when you roll it around your finger like you did with the nipple cover.
Thanks for rating cheaper alternative items that do the same job.
MATCHA MILK HAND WAX MASK PLEASE! Love your makeup look! Tutorial please? Xx
love all your videos so far and I was wondering if you could test some hair products for example hot buns
You have to spread it around then dab not the apposite way just a heads up😊
Hey Tina, thanks for trying out the product. The sili sponge doesn't seem to blur anything out, nor do the other tools. You could see the blurring effect as soon as you started patting with your beauty blender... For the next Tina tries it, I'd pick the matcha hand mask :). Have a nice week.
tina, are you using a new brow product? or just a good brow day? haha. looking particularly lovely in this video!
+Ava M glad you noticed! I used the eye of Horus dual brow perfect
Hahaha I love that you use other things! Love the Tina Tries It series! Thanks for all the information you provide as well :)
I vote for the under arm lightner please
I struggle with conserving foundation. Not sure if this would be a solution but certainly will look into like products.
I would love to see the hand mask, please.
can you please try the hand wax for the next episode?
i love ur lip colour Tina!! Love all your videos !!! is a must watch for me every other day! :D
Matcha milk hand mask. I find its name interesting
Can you plz try out the matcha tea wax mask thing next week. I've been wanting to try it out but I'm not sure if it works or not.
