another extreme metal pioneer band of those years were colombians Parabellum. Their "ultra metal" was quite a thing, their contact with Euronymous and all the stuff. I dont known if early Sepultura was in contact with the colombian scene. Beside this its interesting how revolutionary ( or at least influential) good things found a way to rise up from the very depths of fucked up contexts. And South America knows about fucked up contexts. This footage deserves a place into a museum or something.

their main inspirations were Celtic Frost, Hellhammer, Sodom and Slayer. But, of course, they managed to be faster and heavier than them.
+Jowa Flores-Sabattini Sarcofago came AFTER Wagner left Sepultura, Vulcano were the first in Brazil anyways.
