I’ve been using the Rapala Suspect in two different colours with some sort of results. Not the multiple fish each day as per likes of a Shroom, master fisherman. However I think a good lure. I’ve got a pack of the Imposter, prawn waiting in the wings too. Just to let you know, I’m getting excited as going in the fifth round of a local fishing competition up here on Mid North Coast, this weekend. Wish me luck! Go Shroom!!😊

Shroom you should do a Bunnings lure challenge. Go to Bunnings buy somethings within a price range and build within a certain time frame. Make it competitive with some others

Hey brø love the look of the plastic, also as much of a beard fan as I am I liked the Moe, it definitely suited you. but also nothing fresher then a new cut. You look sharper without it I think that sets you apart from us shaggy fisherman you prove you can look stylish too

Shroom where should I fish for Aussie salmon like beach river and what setup and bait do you use
Beach is your best bet for salmon. Pilchards work well for them fished in a gutter. Just keep it simple with a light/medium combo

The suspect is such an awesome lure, i have caught many Jewfish and flathead on that lure.
Im sure they chucked you some of the bigger ones as well, keen to see you throw them at night on the Parra 🎣

@@ShroomFishing Been getting a lot of big redfin and carp out of a one foot deep drain on Lake Burley Griffin, to about 40 cm reddies. It is the places that people walk past that hold the big fish alot of the time.

If you really have your heart set on it, I'd say go for it! It's more fun than practical though unless you're chasing bass or cod
Yeh k interesting, I was just looking for something that is in between my 1to3 kg and 8 to 12 kg rods, something that had the best of both rods, thanks for ur insight
Love your videos Shroom but you could improve on handling the fish. Sliding them out of water on rocks, sand, covering then in leaves etc could be simply avoided with using a net.

@@ShroomFishing indeed, it’s also fun designing your own and having it made into mould. Fusion 360 software is free and super easy to use for it.
@@BeArtch that's heaps interesting, I wish I knew more about stuff like that. Is it free? I might have to look into it
@@ShroomFishing yeah it’s free for personal use, and you can get the moulds made out of metal at a lot of places using the file you create. It’s awesome what can be done on it, you can use a picture of a fish and copy it perfectly, down to replicating scales and lateral lines, anything.. you would love it.
