    Does it matter if the brand of alternators are the same? Or can I run my stock alternator and an aftermarket one as well?

    Awesome. Are you running welding cable? I'm in need of some

    So with 2 ad244 alternators I would wire all 4 wires to the 4 wires on the second alternator. Both alternators have plfs

    What should I put in the back as an extra battery for my 2000 watt amp? I’m going for an XS power battery just don’t know what size I should get they are pretty pricy, I have a 240 amp alternator as well.

    If I intend to put two brushless alternators (same factory model), both have their current output regulation built-in, is it safe to just bolt both of their outputs directly to the battery positive?
    I'm afraid that instead of getting 50/50 current output from both of them, I'll get the second one starting to supply current only when the first one is at full load and can't provide enough - due to the minute differences in internal voltage sensing thresholds.
    Will that be an issue? How would I solve this?
    I have experience in electrical engineering, but was always afraid of connecting two "identical" power sources in parallel.

    Hey brother I love your videos but I got a question to ask if I'm going to run a dual alternator bracket on my F-150 07 can I splicing from my second alternator to the stock harness or can the alternator charge the battery without it being spliced together

    • @JerryAintloud
      @JerryAintloud  2 года назад

      most of the time you splice in to the factory harness, unless you're going external regulated

      Do they have to be the same amperage

    • @oneildiamond2845
      @oneildiamond2845 2 года назад

      And both alternators will be charging at the same time there will be no issues in between or anything like that

    Food for thought.....instead of using wood as an ",insulator" pick up a "Teflon" cutting board...if the wood gets wet , it can become a dangerous conductor

    lol. Pretty straight forward. I didn’t understand a word you said. Obviously this is not for me and I didn’t hop up and get started.
