Thanks mike I think I’m gonna get this bow for 2022 I’m a 25 draw & pull back 50 yes I’m small guy I think I’m going to get it rather than the whole venom pro I had it in my hand it was heavy but thanks for the video
@@MikesArchery I thank you for the test and your work but that’s not really good speed at all. I had the RevoltX, 70 pounds, 26 inch draw, 440 grain arrow and it shot 259 FPS. I know have a Hoyt RX4 Alpha, 80 pounds, 26 inch draw, 446 grain arrow and now I get 284 FPS. Now that’s better!
@@rmarc11 yes I do! That’s why I don’t shoot Bowtech anymore as they don’t offer that. Do you release in the same post my RevoltX shoot a 440 grain arrow at a 26 inch draw 259 FPS. Going by those numbers and new Bowtech is not shooting any quicker then last years bows.
I am the true definition of short draw! (25”) can someone shoot this through a chrono set at 25”? I’m curious what speed I could get at 70lbs and 400gr arrow.
You being a short draw and want more performance I don’t think Bowtech is the brand to go to. They are a good company but don’t really compete in performance with the other top companies. They don’t offer heavier poundage like other companies or different size cams that are made for performance on shorter draw lengths that other companies do. I owned a RevoltX which specs out a little faster if not on par with this bow and at my 26 inch draw, 70 pounds I could only get a 420 grain arrow 259 FPS. Matthews VXR 75 pounds I could get that same arrow to 277 FPS. On the Hoyt RX4 80 pounds I get a 446 grain arrow 280 FPS which is awesome for a 26inch draw. Both were great shooting as well. Bowtechs are known to have cams that are not great at lower draw lengths. It’s the geometry of the cams would be my guess. But they have smooth draws and good dead in the hand, not because it’s great technology but because they don’t have much horsepower behind it.
@@JJ79_ but there are better bends with more performance at lower draw lengths so for someone who wants more horsepower at shorter draws your better off getting a brand that gives you draw weights of 75-80 like Hoyt or Matthews
I own the Bowtech BT-X 28 and love it. I'm glad Bowtech is still making premium bows for us short draw guys.
yeah im a 26.5 -27 draw and this will be the bow i get
Very quiet and quick! With dead lock technology and dead in hand shud b a short draw dream!

Was it on the comfort setting at 70# when you chronographed it?
What was the arrow weight you tested?
Seemed like you missed an important feature of the chrono test. What was the weight of the arrow, please?
We always use a 400 grain arrow for our chrono tests. Sorry, must have missed that in this one. Thanks for watching!
@@MikesArchery Ah, ok. Thanks! Always appreciate your videos.

@@toddlymburner5783 you do realize the 10 lbs of draw weight add about 20 FPS lol

@@toddlymburner5783 75-80lbs short draw bow sounds very unpleasant to use, I would never do that.
How heavy of an arrow was shot through the chronograph?
We always use a 400 grain arrow in our chrono tests. Must have left that out on this one. Sorry about that! Thanks for watching!
Thanks! I shoot the same draw length and a little heavier arrow. This gives me a great ball park.
Are the limb pockets are plastic?
Was it on comfort or performance?
It was on the comfort. We shot them just like they were out of the box.
What weight arrow was that speed with??
We always use a 400gr arrow when testing. Thanks for watching.
That is slow then
