- I went on a cricket tour around my home country, South Africa, where I played and filmed numerous matches using my GoPro. My final match was played at the Skukuza Oval in the Kruger National Park. I grew up visiting Kruger so this is probably the most special match I have played on this channel. It did not dissappoint!

Definitely feels like we're nearing the golden age of RUclips cricket content. Gareth, it's great to see the growth of your channel from what was previously so contingent on your own performance to where it is today.
Of course, it's great to see you score a few but getting the added familial and cultural insight that this SA trip has provided makes me, as a viewer, feel like I'm very much along for the ride! Would love to see you travel a lot more in the off-season.

Great video my family also just recently went to the Kruger park and my dad has a RUclips channel too and he filmed everything so yeah this video reminded me of my dads video

Thinking 'its probably going to be one where you can pitch 6 balls on exactly the same spot on a half volley and they bounce toe height, skull height, toe, skull, toe, skull.
But no, the pitch is perfectly playable.
Its just there is nothing stopping a *lion* wandering onto the field of play at any moment.

I do have some questions - what kind of Diet/Exercise regimen do you follow to stay in good shape and be able to score runs everytime you play? I am asking this as a recreational cricket player in the United States. I only get to play in the summer months in a local league. And its tough to stay in shape and play well.

Love that u added the birds there. I have been bird watching since I was 5. I'm now 17 and have 320 different species seen since I have been bird watching. Still a hilight was the bearded vulture witch I got in December and the green backed camaropterer, which I got in my Uncles camp in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve in 2020. My uncle owns a camp called Gary Freeman Safaris where you do trail walks out in the bush, you can camp out in the bush and game drivers. The camp is not closed off. You sleep in tents that have a toilet and 2 single beds. The toilets outside the camp over look the Klaserie river and the shower is a 5l bucket shower. Still my favorite place for a holiday
