Thanks! And yes the margins are ever thin. For the type of cards I’m selling the margin is very thin. Usually the cheaper the card the larger the margin. But more volume you’d have to sell. At this time I am okay with my margins. I’m not doing this as a full time job. But in general the hobby is a game of volume. Since they are collectibles, finding them at a margin of another business is nearly impossible.
You said you bought the Ronaldo for $575 and sold for $540, how did you make $20 off that? Also are you insuring the higher end cads and factoring in PPGS fees?
I misspoke, I bought it for 515. Plus $5 for shipping. So a $20 profit. When purchasing, i only pay goods if it’s somebody I’m unfamiliar with. Usually the bigger deals are with people I trust.
My guy!!!! Stop buying cards before you can see them!!! I’ve seen a videos now of yours! You don’t think these sellers know the condition?! You should focus on school, and forget this flipping nonsense
@@matthewscardboardyeah I know- a couple of your videos have demonstrated that. You showed one recently where it was clear a card had surface issues. No way that card was coming close to an 8 (original seller said he’d partial refund?) Just hate seeing honest folks like yourself get taken for a ride. It’s not really my business, but for every 5 good deals, one bad one clearly can mess it up. Nothing but sharks in these waters
Bro the hustle is so inspirational! Good stuff man. Have you looked into ways to increase your margins? Those look razor thin.

The kid will know what I mean
I can’t buy cards online without seeking them first. Sellers should be open and honest. Unfortunately they are not always.

How about keeping your opinions to yourself. Matthew is doing just fine. If you don’t like it, don’t watch.
