I don't regret not having kids. I've never had a 'maternal instinct'. I look at how much modern technology is gradually taking over jobs people used to do. I wonder what jobs will be available in 15 years time, when the babies of today, leave school? 10 years ago, I saw my former friend, she's my age. She's now a grandmother. Her other older, adult daughter, doesn't want any kids at all. She isn't interested in her 2 nephews at all ! My former friend said "she'll change her mind, one day, then I'll have more grandkids". I told her "I never changed my mind, I never wanted kids & I never had kids". "It's her choice". I am so happy I stayed 'childfree'. I love my freedom. I own my house, I have a job, pets, great friends & hobbies. My life is busy. My friends are all childfree. 😊👍😸🐶♥️
some of the greatest minds in history were childfree. they devoted their time to their work. Thich Nhat Hanh, Tesla, Descartes, Isaac newton. They wouldn't have been able to change the world in the way they did if they focused on family life.
I'm a stray cat rescuer here in Istanbul. EVERY other rescuer I know is child-free, some not by choice, but still, we are all filled with this love and passion to actually take action and do something for these poor cats, unlike most of society that just shrugs and says 'nature will take care of them'.(No it won't because it wasn't nature who put them there in the first place.)
Let's be real society does benefit more from CF adults than those who have kids especially in the workforce. Having to leave work at an unexpected notice bc something happened at a child's daycare or school must be tended to, pregnant mothers have to take maternity leave to give birth & go to doctor appointments/check ups. There's a plethora of barriers that parents deal with outside of their work life. CF adults tend to & thrive on their workforce duties & prospects in building their potential. I've taken the high road & have been unapologetically CF working in high school education.
I'd disagree with this. I think being child free is more of one of many factors to a productive worker. You can have parents who work way harder than ones who are child free cause raising a child is hell of a motivation to put your best foot forward.
People out there still believe that a man’s purpose in life is to be a provider and protector. Me personally, I am doing the government and law a good favour by not getting married nor having children. I have more time to focus on my wants, needs, goals and achievements and a spouse/lover and children would get in the way of all that.
Absolutely love your videos my thoughts now are similar to your words. I as a matter of fact will be start full time not just for my job at Amazon but I will also be closer to home. Driving short distances is another way of keeping your carbon footprint small just like choosing to be Childfree. Most people who work full time who have kids unfortunately don’t the time they need to spend time with there kids which is another reason not to have kids these days. Keep up posting more videos CHILDFREE all the way!
Yes there's so many people who have made a difference to many who are childfree like Debbie Morgan Shannon Elizabeth Christopher lloyd Alan rickman betty white Bob Barker
Childfree people help set and raise standards because they aren't distracted with the care, time, and attention that needs to be dedicated to children. Childfree people can redirect their time and attention.
I don't know about everywhere but around here property taxes go towards funding public schools. Childfree people pay the exact same amount per value than parents do, and we don't have kids attending those schools. Just think how much more underfunded schools would be if us childfree people decided to bring kids into this world.
I am a cf volunteer and volunteer organisations benefit from cf volunteers, we don't take time off to take time off volunteering for school holidays, It is annoying when I can't get volunteers because parents and grandparent are looking after kids and grandkids. I find the cf volunteers more reliable and don't mess you about
*So true, being CF helps us nurture and enrich relationships in our community through mentorship and being a supportive understanding presence. We add diversity 🙂. We enrich the diversity- loved that part.*
Given the environmental devastation we're seeing, it's incredibly foolish, selfish and shortsighted to have children. But most people can't think further than "babies are cute and make me happy."
The algo recommended this video. It was nice and positive. I'd watched some child free by choice videos on the The Financial Diet. This was positive video, great job. Subscribed, looking forward to more videos.
This would be fine if we didn't have a tax system took takes care of the elderly by taxing those who are working. Without the next generation of labor to support our aging workforce, the system could fall apart.

Right
You need to make a video on the ultimate childfree people in our society, the monks and nuns. I think your perspective on it would be interesting
Ouuu this is a great idea! Thank you for recommending! 🙌
some of the monks may have kids secretly

Schools are currently an obsolete drain on our resources. Parents need to parent again.
Interesting topic. The subject matter you bring up is very thoughtful and substantive.
As a guy, is it weird the thought of being on permanent control has always turned me on? Why do i find this so attractive for myself?
I'm paraphrasing from the vasectomy subreddit: "Something something rawdogging your girlfriend without consequences."

Exactly! Without sustainable population growth the economy will shrink. It is a fact.
Yes and who will pay for the pensions of workers don’t replace themselves ?
Let it fall apart. This society needs to fall.
Good. Our current system refuses to follow the rules set in place. Let it fall. My kids won't suffer through it.
@@user-zu5do6ri6r who’s going to pay for your pension though ?
You make a lot of unsuported and broad claims I'd like to see you make sense of them with at least a numerical analysis, if not studies.
If only your parents had known this
If only.
Despicable
