I will be 70 years old next week. Feelin' fine being childfree. Just me & hubby living a good life. We have all we need. A cosy home, good health, many hobbies, a good retirement ( comfortable not wealthy ) and we still love & respect each other. Live the life you want.

I saw it all with my parents.... my mom did 8h work... then did everything at home just dad repeatedly putting her down with " i dated prettier women than you "... then divorce... then she had to deal with issues selling our home since dad decided to make run for it and leave us with the trouble so he can go fap new women and make them pregnant I learned.. most of the time why women suffer in life.. is because they have kids... and society need to groom and lie to women it is nothing bad! in reality it can wreck your health or get you killed... if I remain CF... I will avoid 80% from my life issues! avoid men who didnt get vasectomy! oh and get HPV vaccine too for protection against 5-9 cancers!

Kids are adorable but I don’t want one. I applaud the parents out there doing it well, but most of you are not doing well, so many are raising little monsters. Why is nobody asking why half the kids are autistic? It’s rampant out there! Todays world doesn’t produce healthy humans, and being stuck with an autistic child who will probably be brainwashed at school and start questioning their gender. No thank you. Not for me, not in my house.

I brought up 4 kids as a single parent and I told them all to consider staying child free so that their lives would offer them all more opportunities to build their careers and form their lives in the way that they preferred. I am now happily single and free of child care duties and yes, no grandchildren because no one wanted kids, but I want to be a grandchild free woman. I told all of my kids that I would never be the babysitting grandma type and not to expect it from me. I love my kids and would love my grandkids if they had chosen that path, but pressuring my kids to go into parenthood for my sake would be selfish! FYI they're all as busy as I am so we see each other holidays and a few times a year, but getting older should NEVER be about using children for amusement and to occupy time or as a trophy of your self-worth. This isn't love on either side of the situation.

I’m glad that people can choose what they want for their lives. I’m a mother and a wife and despite anything else that I do, I still believe that it is my greatest privilege. Because if my my mother chose to be child free I would not exist. Everyone has their own choices to make to continue their own family lines or end them. I just hope that people are happy no matter what they choose.

At 32 years of age myself and having entered into a serious state of voluntary isolation and search for inner harmony and stability, I can relate to this 100%. And I can hope that people might someday come to understand that this is not the social crime we like to pretend that it is. Just because I am not willing to take in the world and its innumerable burdens into my personal heart space and enter into that energy with it (and the people in it) does not mean that I wish pain and suffering on the world. Quite the contrary. I wish so much peace and healing for the world, but I also realize that allowing its pain into my spirit does nothing to help alleviate it in the grand scheme of things. In fact, taking in other people's suffering into our hearts as an act of solidarity (instead of allowing others to own and alchemize theirs without judgment) only serves to amplify and further spread that suffering across the world. Passing our pain onto others doesn't heal the wound, it simply spreads the infection. Heal your inner child before you give that pain to a new soul that never even asked to be here. If you're someone who is not willing to let the world in to influence you, know you're not alone, and you're not the demon they might be trying to make you out to be. 💕

It gives us freedom, peace and happiness❤ I am also introvert. I think introverts are more smart and happy people. Coz they can discover more things than extroverts. Introverts are happy coz they dont need anyone or anything. They are only dependent on just themselves. They have more time to think, to live. Loving being introvert is treaaure and its needed to discover. Coz society dont support solitude, says its bad thing, thats why normally poeple think that solitude is bad thing, harmful and not liviable. People think that they cant live in solitude. Coz society tells us that. Its treasure coz when we discover this we see how amazing it is, and how fantastic it is. And its possible living solitude. I’m probably the only married person with kids who thinks you honestly don’t need them 😂. I love mine because I wanted them and I’m grateful for that. But people can and fully be happy with themselves without children they’re not a need.

Having kids is not for everyone. I am a parent and love it, and I find it fulfilling. However, if you do not want to have kids, dont have them!!! Enjoy your childless life! Dont let folks give you grief for your choice.

Great video, but I think it is pretty absurd to say that *every* person who actually desires/desired parenthood respect those who choose the childfree choice. That is just false. Most parents I’ve seen that intentionally wanted parenthood are more *blinded* in their choice (rather than jealous or bitter on the other side) as well as implicitly biased and tone-deaf/insensitive towards childfree people, and they also don’t truly accept those who choose the childfree choice. In your case, all of the desired-parents are probably either very rare or purely anecdotal. As a whole, I can easily say that most parents (desired or not) do not respect those who choose the childfree choice.

I grew up surrounded by fathers who HATE their children and wives, let their wives carry ALL the burden of caring for the family, and in turn the mothers hold deep resentment towards their children and husband. I don't want that to be MY life, and people go batshit crazy when you simply say no to being abused.

I'm a Gen X lady that loves kids and had two. But I've always known parenting isn't for everyone and I've always been against ppl having kids without putting in any real thought. I very much back up child free ppl, including my own kids.

I have experienced more prejudice and nastiness from women than men. Men don't seem to care so much.
