Hi Adrian,
I've seen that video of Einar.
Can't get enough of his music, especially when he's live. And his jokes...he's so down to earth and modest. He takes his music seriously & accurate according to the time in age...
You made a cool & relaxed video!!!
Nice tutorial.
👌🏻
I completely agree!!! I feel that he is an awesome person. Always enjoy his jokes and his music and thoughts... Definetly , it would be a dream to meet him some day
Amazing Adrian, great job!
Very helpful,de gran ayuda
Thank you very very much! Where have you buy the kravik Lyre?
Thanks!! :). This one was carved by me!! Because I couldnt afford the Etsy ones!! So I decided to build It by myself
@@adrikr wow, it sounds very good, Great work! I would buy it ;-)
@@wustenmonch65 thank you very much!!!! ☺️☺️
I'm curious who built your lyre. I really appreciate this video as this is one of our holy songs as heathens, and I have had my kravik about 2 weeks and am working on learning to play it.
Hello!!! Thank you very much! Its nice to read that its useful! :) I built it! It took me a hard work but it was worth, its one of my most important possesions hahaha
@@adrikr ohh I can imagine. You did a wonderful job. Was that your first lyre build ever? It sounds great. Did you use one of the blueprints from Micheal J King.
I've got Voluspa down pretty good and am working on Helvegen, I'm going to work on snake pit poetry and Elfenringen by Kveld here soon.
@@Hrothgar_Scop thank you very much!!!! :) Yes! My first and Yes! The plans of Michael King, I think all the heathens that are interested in building folk instruments know who is he hahaha
@@Hrothgar_Scop very nice!! Such a good songs. Keep it up!!
Muchas gracias!!!
What tuner do you use for your lyre or what app would you suggest to use?
I use a chromatic tuner!! And it works very good
@@adrikr
I got a chromatic tuner it works beautifully, thank you bror
My lyre has nickel wound strings can you suggest where I can get some nylon strings?
Thank you for your support
@@ronaldjones8346 my strings are of fluorocarbon!! You can easily buy it in the website: Etsy. Just seach "Kravik lyre strings" the seller its michael king.
If you wanna use nylon, maybe in a fishing shop, but you have to be careful with the thickness, it has to be more thick than the common fishing nylon string!
I also have spoken to people who put ukelele basic strings on the kravik and it worked really nice. I can relate that the sound was very good!
@@adrikr
You are amazing! Thank you!
@@ronaldjones8346 thank you! Any question let me know!! AND SORRY: I was wrong about the ukelele strings. It was SPANISH GUITAR strings, not ukelele! I think that ukelele should work as well, but the kravik I heard was with those guitar strings ( which in fact are made of nylon in the spanish ones)
