Tom Brady was the reason for Belichick's success as a head coach and for Kraft's reputation as an owner. And when it came time to pay Tom, they dumped him. Now it's obvious Belichick is nothing more than a defensive coordinator disguised as a GM, and the franchise is back to what Bill's record would reflect had Brady never been there. Scott Pioli was the GM who found Brady anyway. Not Bill.
