I don't think asriel ever disappeared. I think the only reason flowey lost his empathy was the Mandela effect. He lost empathy because he thought he did, which then caused him to.

the part where papyrus accomplishes his dream of driving a car, with the sun on his “skin” and his hair flowing through the air, it just made me so uncontrollably happy. then sans being sans and coming in with a tricycle on the highway just made me laugh so much. this was a very goodcredits sequence to a very good game. i shed tears of joy the first time i saw this after beating the game, and i still do. this game had so much love and care put into it from the creators. so much personality into the characters and the game, sprites,world,story and everything. it’s a master piece. 99999999999*99999999999+999999999(999999999999999*9999999999999) / 10 absolutely stellar masterpiece

Gaster's theme is (adjusting for key) Bb B F# B, which is a semitone up, 7 semitones up 7 semitones down, and 1 semitone down, accenting both the Minor second up (Bb to B) and a Minor 6th instead of a Perfect fifth (F# instead of F).
